Hey everyone. Last night I had a terrifying dream about hell. When I woke up this morning, I started typing it out as best as I could remember it. When I read the account to my wife, I couldn't even get through it all, as I was gripped with feelings of terror as I recalled what it felt like to be separated from God in my dream. I wrote out the dream itself, as well as some personal thoughts on it, and admonishments to the church because of it. Please check it out if you get a chance: www.xanga.com/joeldad

Are you really saved? Maybe you and the other street ranters are not doing the work of god like you say and going here, Repent.

A dream can mean several things. It can also mean absolutely nothing. Just because you had a dream about hell doesn't mean that you are not saved or that you are going to hell.

The few I know who have had dreams or a vision of hell wound up to be compelling preachers.
Christ didn't mention hell simply to scare men, but to warn of it's reality.
Amen brother Joel.
For the unsaved, that "terror" of being "separated" is death, which is a separation of the soul from the body.

I know how you fell, I have these dreams quite often, believe it or not I had one just last night. And like you I wake up terrified and it takes me a while just to fell ok again. I think it has something to do with my subconscious fear of hell. Before I was born again my grandmother had a dream the devil telling her to stay away from her because I was his. She told me about this and was clearly terrified. It may of been true because I was very lost then.
