Here at Teen Mania Ministries, where I work, there are many interns. Several of these interns have expressed a desire to go and win the lost - So I've put together a workshop on evangelism called "Going Further"
BUT some of them have expressed the desire to preach open air now AND once they go to college.
The Lord gave me an amazing idea to help these gentlemen.
It's called "Jason's House" “…These who have turned the world upside down have come here too. Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king – Jesus!” Acts 17:6-7
Jason’s House is a practicum – to learn the principles, aspects and implications of biblical evangelism. Through mentorship, instruction, discussion and application the men of Jason’s House will be trained up for one purpose: to turn the world upside down.
Lord willing, I'll make audio recordings of these meetings and make them available so other preachers can access "practical information and instruction" regarding topics ranging from: Drawing and keeping a crowd, maintaining your voice, handling different types of hecklers, staying humble publicly and privately, staying safe, dealing with administration, dealing with police, and much more!
There's no better instruction than hands-on training, so this will also incorporate practical application as well.
If any of you has an idea of a topic(s) that you wish you could have been briefed on so you'd be better prepared as you dived into preaching, please reply to this post!

Here are some other things to add to it:
-Picking a spot to open air from (elevation, acoustics, etc.) -Common Questions and Objections in the open air (like the 10-15 most common and how to answer them) -Maybe examples of what NOT to do in the open air (videos, etc.)

- A spirit of self-sacrifice and denial - Not being a people pleaser, not seeking reputation - A genuine heart of love and concern for the lost
