I nearly believed in Jesus in New York City yesterday when we were there. After much walking we went into the historic Grace Church (We kept as distant from the Pope and his schedule as possible to avoid crowds), for Grace always has a sign out that says Come In! Rest! Pray! I figured my wife and I could be two of the resting ones while someone else prayed.
Anyway, I started to fall asleep in the pew.
All of sudden I heard this rumbling sound and felt the ground shaking below me. I thought, "Oh my God, why didn't I get THE LIFE like Josh insisted....Jesus is returning!"
Then I realized the rumbling was vibration from the underground subway system that had tracks operating below the church.

...you never know... We're not even garaunteed our next breath - whether it's when we die or He returns.

Every word will be judged....mockers will not do well. Repent and cry out to God for mercy.

I really don't think seeing me do that is gonna happen any time soon. Thanks for your input though.

So who needs Dan Larette with you around then, as you are just as good. (I still remember Larette's classic "Swallow your pride! Repent" and my first thoughts being "Get a load of this (expletive) guy!)
I could cry out to God for mercy if that will make you happy. The only problem is it will be just as tongue in cheek as my statement about thinking Jesus was coming back in that church and it was only a subway below. And remember, mockers will not do well.
Oh well, anything to make someone else happy , with me being a kind and caring human being who always puts the needs of others before my own. So here it goes.
"I cry out to God for mercy." (please note, however, this is not said with great enthusiasm)
Somewhere in the Bible it says (I think) about God knowing people' s hearts, so the above statement won't count for much anyway)
So, come back again, any time.
Now you are supposed to say, "Be not deceived, God is not mocked, soemthing, something, something " I forget how the rest of it goes)

Now you are supposed to say, .... now , from where does come this feeling that this last sentence was a bit predictable ..
