I wanted to request prayer for a friend of mine that is missing.
His name is Tim. He is from CT. He has been missing for 4-5 days.
He said that he was going to school, then hiking in the woods, then sleeping at some friends house, and then going camping.
He drove to school, and they found his car next to the woods, with his cell phone and all the camping equipment.
But apparently he was never going to be sleeping at anyones house, that was a lie.
They are searching the woods now. They think he is suicidal. Please pray that he is ok.
Tim is autistic. He has a Christian background, but has also backsliden and gotten involved in bad music, bad friends, and drugs.
It seems that the devil is attacking all my friends. Last year a friend of mine committed suicide. Just a couple months ago another friend was found dead in a motel having O.D. on heroine. Just a few weeks ago another friend purposely O.D. but was found just in time to save his life. And now, another friend has been missing.....

I got the call tonight. They found him in the woods and he was not alive. That is all that I know. He did take his life.
Please pray for his family. His mother must be heart broken. His step father had also lost a daughter when she was seven. And his half sister loved him very much. And she is a young teenager (I think).
So please pray for the family.
(If I can be quite honest, I believe that he took his life because he believed in Once Saved, Always Saved. When he backslide, I told him that he had lost his salvation and needed to repent of his sinning and seek the Lord for forgiveness. But his mother freaked out on me and reassured him that he was once saved always saved, even though he was backsliden. I believe that OSAS causes many suicides, just as atheism causes many suicides. Those who take their own lives usually believe that they will either 1) go to heaven or 2) cease to exist). So I hope you can understand why I hate the doctrine of OSAS).

I was once saved and left Him for different reasons. I thought that if you left Christ you would not go to heaven. I was also taught that if you sinned just before you died; you died in your sins and would not go to heaven. ie committed suicide which is murder and were not able to repent of your sins because it was to late you go to hell. That thought kept me from that act many of times.
Recently as I have been thinking more about God, the Christian who is working with me says that if you gave your life to Christ once, you belong to him forever. and it is not possible to loose your salvation. I don't know what the real answer is, but I would like to know what the Bible has to say about it. Can somebody loose thier salvation? If somebody committs suicide will they go to hell?
