A 19 year old friend of mine was recently struck on his left leg by a pick-up truck that crossed the centerline while he was riding his motorcycle. The doctors are recommending amputating some part of his lower left leg (they are probably discussing how much right about now). My friends name is Jude. He has a heart for outreach and wants to get into missions. He has his private pilots license and wants to pursue flying as a career and as part of his missionary work. Please pray! God is still in the miracle working business.
Thanks in advance.

Here's an update.
They are taking Jude back to surgery right know (Monday morning) to remove part of his leg (unless the Lord intervenes). Please pray that they'll take as little as possible/necessary (again, hopefully none).
He's shown great faith and courage during this time of real pain and potential discouragement. He firmly believes the Lord will be glorified in this and will use this experience for good no matter what happens this morning.
I was trying to encourage him with some of the postings on the "You might be a street preacher if..." thread under random posts when he thought up one of his own. I may try to update that thread with his comments later if I think I can do it justice.
Please pray now if you can.
Thanks again,
Pat O'Connell

New update.
The surgery went well, but they did remove Jude's leg nine inches below the knee. This was better than the doctors had anticipated and will allow more useful options with prostetics.
Jude continues to be an encouragement to those that visit. He's eagerly looking past his recovery period to moving on with the Lord (including aviation missions).
He can still use your prayers.
Sorry for the delay in posting an update.
Thanks again.

I prayed...............Jesus will not let that loss go to waste how precious are even the feet of those that preach the Gospel. Jude will be a powerhouse!
