My first encounter with Yazid was over a year ago when I first preached at ECU. Tony and Shayna Denham were there with me and Eli, Evan and Miles showed up later that day. As I went back to ECU over the last year (about 6 times), it seems that Yazid was there almost every time listening. One time we even went to lunch together. At lunch that day, he seemed to say to me (without actually saying it) that Jesus WAS the only way. He wouldn't repent and trust in Christ though. I don't know what held him back. Maybe it was his Muslim roots and the chance that he would lose friends and family. Then, yesterday, I saw him again as Ross and I went to ECU to preach. After I finished preaching and as Ross was preaching, I asked Yazid if he had repented and trusted in Christ yet. He kind of gave me a smile and said, "No, not yet." But the tone of voice and look on his face told me that he had no good reason not to. We parted ways and I committed myself to keep praying for him as I have over the last year periodically. WELL, here is an article that he wrote for the ECU paper early this morning: media.www.theeastcarolinian.com/media/storage/paper915/news/2007/10/30/Opinion/Thats.It-3064048.shtml

I found another article in that paper that was interesting. Minister says Greek organizations aren't Christian based
