I am going to church for the first time in a long time in two hours. I am swamped by the change I have felt.

Church is not fun for someone that is lost. The revealing of sin in your life and the fact of hell is never a good time. What makes Church a good time is the Good News. It is the fact that salvation through Jesus can save you from the sin in your life that is revealed and deliver you from the Hell that we deserve. That is what makes Church a great time. Worshiping and praising God because through His Son Jesus we have salvation. Maybe you went with different expectations and that is why you are now disappointed.
Going to Church for any other reason than seeking Jesus will be a disappointment because that is what is supposed to be taught at Church. Jesus Christ

It is not so much the denomination because I have been to different denominational churches and the message is the same as it should be, Jesus Christ. Also within those same denominations there are churches that lose sight of that and focus so much on entertainment so they can grow in numbers that repentance, faith in Jesus, and the reality of Hell take second stage because they are not popular subjects. They do not make people feel good if they are convicted.
So for me to recommend one particular denomination I can not because if Jesus were still on this earth and in human form there would only be one denomination again and that would be Christian.
The only recommendation is that make sure the preaching is done from the Word of God and that it is not wavered from not one bit.

Keep in mind that it not the denomination title on the Church sign that makes it a Church, it is the presence of God and the worship to Him from His people.
I will be praying that the Church you are going to is the one that God will use to touch your heart.
Please remember the parable of the sower and the seed. How the seeds success that was being sowed depended on the condition of the soil. Hard packed, rocky, weeds, and then good soil.
I pray that you truly are going and your heart is not hard or weed infested so the seed received on wed. night will fall on good ground and sprout so that one day you can bear spiritual fruit instead of sinful rotten fruit.
A tree is to be known by the fruit it bears.

No, I think I will just pack it in and go back to sinning after all. You won't see me in hell with you though cause I joined the Baptists and since they believe in the eternal sanctification of the believer, I still get to go to heaven.

I do not know what Baptist church that you went to but I am pretty sure they did not teach it is ok to sin.
1 John 3:9 says that if you have truly been saved you will not sin because of the seed that remains in you.
But if you do He is just to forgive. there is a difference between confession and repentance.

I am not really reborn. It was a game from the beginning to get a reaction and it worked. See my other posts and threads.

You really did not get a reaction, what you have done is be a witness to someone reading your posts. For someone to read what you have posted and see how lost people truly are without Jesus, you have actually had a positive effect.
I am just sorry it is a the expense of your soul if you do not change.
Take care Art

I thought I was clever myself, as well as creative, especially about the part where I had a live mountain lion thrown on me when street preaching .
