Notice it doesn't say "Jesus might have shed his blood for you" or "Jesus died for the elect... maybe you". But it says "He shed His blood For You". They can put their faith in Christ without questioning this fact. Jesus shed his blood for everyone that will read this sign. This cuts right to the chase. It tells them exactly what repentance is, and it immediately destroys all of their excuses. Since sin is an avoidable choice, they can't justify their sinfulness by saying "I was born this way" "I can't help it" "I'm only human" "God's law is impossible" etc. Being a sinner is optional since the choice of sin is avoidable. Sinners need to know:1. The truth about their sin 2. The truth about the Savior This sign covers all the basics.

Oh no, not a new sign...not a new sign...I'm going to be 50 in a month and a half and my heart cannot take the hilarity this provides. Please, Jesse, no more. The skull and the brain were bad enough. Please, no more.

Mine got mailed out yesterday. Here's what she said about the customization that I wanted done:
I got the straps longer so I can have my hand more free and got the other grommets at the bottom so I can use the sandwich board on a windy day...

I did a similar thing to one I made. It's best to have something from allowing it to blow in the wind.

Are there some specifications (size, materials, etc.) that work best? Where do you guys get these manufactured?

Post by Jesse Morrell on Aug 13, 2008 19:43:37 GMT -5
You can make it any size you want. If you do a sandwich board, you'll want it to be a certain size so that it fits ok. I think my sandwich board is 2ft by 2ft or something like that. The material is just a very lightweight board. I have my signs and sandwich boards made at Anytime Sign: signs@centurytel.net And I've had my banners made by Kevin Farrer: www.CrytoGod.com

jesse is there actually two signs or is it just a yellow cardboard that you photo shopped differently. You look almost exactly the same... actually after closer inspection there are minor detail changes man you got that grin down jesse.

Jesse - I wanted to thank you for hooking me up with Anytime Sign. I've had correspondence with a very kind lady there and my sandwich board should be shipped by this Friday. I'm very excited to get out there on the streets of CA with it.
I appreciate your assistance very much. When I get it, I'll post a photo or two. To God be the glory!

Jesse - sorry to bug you again. What is the length of the shoulder straps on your sign?

Allen, I'm not Jesse, but I recommend going with the longer straps if they offer them to you. It gives more room for your arms above the sandwich board...

"Sign Sign everywhere a sign Blocking out the scenery breaking my mind Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign..."I must freely admit Jesse you have given me a great appriciation for signs, banners and sandwich boards! Allen, Yes! Kerrigan is right, go with longer straps! I had my son measure me from front to back at about the position I wanted and sent them the measurements. She was surprised by the length and they started calling me "the big guy" but it is perfect I have plenty of arm room to raise my hands, thump my bible and give someone the finger - My pointer that is...! It's great to see you getting a sandwichboard... Don't forget to share a photo! Like Tony the Tiger says, "THERE GREAT!" Now I gotta figure out how to put some gromets in the lower corners... That's a great idea! I was reluctant to just poke in a few holes. I am motivated to get a few signs made as well for those who are a little reluctant to put on a sandwich board.... Like the "design" of yours Jesse and given the right context the message could work as well!

Starting people out with hand held signs is a good idea. Not everyone starts out with signs and banners. Hand held signs is a good place to start.

Anytime Sign has made 8 sandwich boards for preachers, that I know of. That's awesome! They are great to work with and my sign was more than I could ask for! They even figured out how to keep the straps and gromets inside on my doublesided board and now with Kerrigan's new one it seems like they are coming up with more unique ways to make them last longer.

I didn't have my picture taken with my sign in front of the cool background like Paul - my living room had to do. But, I did have the opportunity to use it today in Pismo Beach. Thousands of people gathered at the beach for the Labor Day weekend. Another brother brought his sign and we preached open air for three hours. God used the signs and the preaching of the gospel to get the people to stop and listen. I thank God for the people at Anytime Sign. Thanks for encouraging me to get one guys!

Great sign Allen! Keep it up brother! Here are some banner verses.
Ps 20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.
Ps 60:4-5 You have given a banner to those who fear You, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.
Songs 6:10 Who is she who looks forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Awesome as an army with banners?
Is 13:2-3 “ Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger— Those who rejoice in My exaltation.”
There are quite a few banners listed, but praise God he has lifted His banner of love over us. Amen.
PS... Anytime sign is doing a great job! Thanks Patrick.
