Barack Obama Picks Long-Time Abortion Advocate Joe Biden as Running Mate Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Barack Obama, on Saturday, selected one of the Senate's most ardent abortion advocates as his vice-presidential running mate. In Joe Biden, Obama has someone who's abortion views mirror his own -- by supporting unlimited abortions and wanting judges who will keep all abortions legal 35 more years. Obama has been under fire for weeks for his strongly pro-abortion views -- favoring taxpayer-funded abortions, opposing a partial-birth abortion ban, and opposing a bill in the Illinois legislature that would protect newborns who survive abortions. Choosing Biden as his running mate won't help him moderate those views that are clearly out of step with most Americans. Biden is a fierce abortion proponent and someone who has made a reputation out of badgering Supreme Court nominees about abortion during confirmation hearings. In fact, before he dropped out of the Democratic primary race Obama eventually won, Biden confirmed he would have a pro-abortion litmus test for his own possible judicial picks. "I would not appoint anyone who did not understand that Section 5 of the 14th Amendment and the Liberty Clause of the 14th Amendment provided a right to privacy ... which means they would support Roe v. Wade," he said in a November debate. He received a pro-life voting record of 0 percent from the National Right to Life Committee for 2007-2008.

That"s GREAT ! I support them wholeheartedly. One more reason to vote for them. I cannot wait til November when we have a country in the hands of the democrats and some sanity resorted to it again as opposed to Republican/Christian rule.

It is great to see you fools are more worried about the rights of unborn gobs of goo in a woman's stomach than the rights of livign and grown humans who are definable as people who have been trampled upon by the Republican regime. You all make me sick.

The Dems seem pretty unified now and thus should make a sweep in November, ending Republi-puke/Christian reign in America for at least four years. Change is coming and it is long overdue. I cannot wait til McCain crasghs and burns for the second time in his life, this election. Good riddance to him and the other Republicans who will be going down in defeat.

I could care less about abortion as opposed to getting futures traders in the oil market regualted, getting us out of a war in Iraq, an end to the war on terror as en excuse to rob honest Americans of their constitutional rights and freedoms, getting decent universal health care and seeing the mega rich start getting taxed like they should be , especially the oil profiteers.
McCain will not do this . Obama will. Amen!
I am willing to bet Jesus is not coming , christians. Get over it. Obama, however is and none too soon.

OBAMA, OBAMA, HE'S OUR MAN!
IF HE CAN'T DO IT, THEN JIHAD CAN!
(This is a secret muslim pep rally song I discovered while preaching at UC Berkeley this week)
The muslims and those who live (and die) to see worldwide Sharia law enforced are just tickled pink, or should I say RED!
Obama is exactly what America deserves, and God will use him just as He did the wicked kings in Israel and Judah.
Don't get me wrong, I think McCain is a wiser choice, but some things just have to happen.
And even worse would be if Obama does get elected, and then gets assasinated, and JOE BIDEN becomes president! Oh God, I shudder to think it!
My advice....watch ye therefore, and pray always, just like Jesus said to do (Lk 21:36).
