Palin's daughter got knocked up and while they evidently are not going to have an abortion and such, she was sure living in sin and fornicating out of wedlock ir somehow there has been a second conception via the holy spirit.
Yeah, some role models her family are turning out to be, just like Bush's daugthers .
How is Palin going to run the country should the unlikely event of a McCain election takle place and he dies in office? She can't even keep her teenage kid under control.

The hypocrisy of the Christians knows no bounds and you should know that by now at your age.

You may be surprised to know that many Christians are not pleased by these events, like myself. I live by the whole Bible, not just the last 1/4 of it, so I can see how serious it is for those of us who are parents to get our children to the alter for marriage as "virgins". This was such a serious matter to God that if her parents failed to see to this, in whatever it took, their daughter could be killed as a result of that failure to guard her.
If Mrs. Palin, who claims she is a Christian, had sought after counciling from "older Christian women", the Bible tells the older women what to tell her "to be sober, love their husbans, love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands........why?.......THAT THE WORD OF GOD BE NOT BLASPHEMED. Titus 2:3-5
I realize that even with great care things can go wrong, but when both parents work, and there are children we are commanded to train up, we can add to our woes.

Interestign stuff on Palin as she told her church youth group the war in Iraq was a mission from God (as opposed to a graet George Bush fiasco) and to pray for funding for a pipeline through Alaska. This woman is an absolute idiot and if some of you people like Micah and crew think she is wonderful it is only because in her you have someone mornic like you are. I hte Mccain,. I especially hate Palin, i hate Republicans and I hate Christians,. The world would be better off if you all just went off someplace and died.
Keep your mythical god out of politics and out of the USA. Keep those serving this myth out of any position of authority . Christinaity is for the mentally ill.

Art:
Can you recommend a good "skrink" for me? I realize from your post I must be mentally ill.
Art, why are you so bitter to so many people you don't even know? If we we really are mentally ill, as you suggest, you should at least feel sorry for us, because after all, we are not well.
Art, this nations first Supreme Court Justice John Jay, made the statement that we should never elect a man to office or any position of power and authority unless that man first was submitted to God and His word (Bible).
If a person doesn't have moral absolutes, than they can never really be trusted to hold o a standard of any kind. Just because God has not revealed Himself to you, in the manner you want, doesn't means that "all creation shows Hid handiwork". I am a believer and scientist by trade, and know there is no credible evidence that evolution (molecules to men) could possibly happen. Yes, we see natural selection, but only within species, not in transpeciation. You should watch "Exspelled".

Palin is a dangerous religious fanatic who needs to be shoved right back into whatever hole in the wall they pulled her out of.
As for John Jay , who cares. Just because he said it does not make it right.

I agree with what Art is saying here, although i would not have excatly chosen the same words.. These go-to-war Republicans are a shame to the Gospel of Jesus-Christ, because the world now thinks Christians = Bush and the like. Palin's pastor (don't remember his name) has said to his congregation that if you vote for Democrats you will go to hell... He was of course not led by the Holy SPirit when he said that.

If a person doesn't have moral absolutes, than they can never really be trusted to hold o a standard of any kind. That's kinda silly, just because someone doesn't submit to your God doesn't mean they're morally bankrupt, or even that they don't have solid morals. After all, I don't believe in God but I have a pretty absolute policy that I shouldn't steal from anyone. In fact, almost anything on a moral basis I have a pretty firm stance on. Unless of course it's something I don't care about such as gay marriage. Just because someone's morality is different than yours doesn't mean it's wrong.

They really can't be trusted because their morality comes from no universal standard. What's stopping them from changing their mind at any point?

Exactly my point Jeffrey.
Hureji, you may not like Christians, but if you read the Bible, you can at least know we are not making things up as we go.
I do agree with debonnaire above though about how bad it is when Christians who don't have a Biblical World View, use the cloat of Christianity to do all sorts of evils in the name of God. I only ask that you realize that many who call themselves Christians, and who call on Jesus as Lord, Lord...will not enter the kingdom of heaven for being without the nomos/law of God, thought they claim to be believers. Anyone can say they believe, but not all walk just as Jesus did.

And just out of curiousity..... Who among you on this board really walks as Jesus did? Are you sure? Can you justfy an answer in the affirmative?

They really can't be trusted because their morality comes from no universal standard. What's stopping them from changing their mind at any point? What's stopping anyone from changing their mind? Just because someone claims to be a Christian or even if they lived a pure Christian life doesn't mean that they might one day change their path or snap. Hureji, you may not like Christians, but if you read the Bible, you can at least know we are not making things up as we go. I never said I dislike them, I just don't share the same beliefs. Oh yeah the hypocrits that Jesse talks about, yeah I know them. Though anyway, you might not trust me or my morality's standard because I don't believe in the bible or God, but just because someone claims to do so doesn't make them more reliable honestly, I've met some "Christians" who are fairly morally bankrupt. Honestly, all that judge's statement will do is pull more wolves in sheeps clothing. Let's see... I'm morally bankrupt and I want this job but they require me to be Christian, sheesh I'll just say I'm Christian then. I found God, hallelujah!

I will agree that as Chrsitians, we are our worst enemies. You are correct that many never do live up to what we should. We let Jesus down though, and the blame is ours, not His.
Dale:
You ask if any walk as Jesus. I can't answer for anyone but myself. I have been studying the Torah (God's first 5 books) this last year, knowing that Jesus was obedient to it and as myself and my family have studied, we have applied what we learn to our ways. We try and love God with all our hearts, souls, mind and strength and love others as ourselves. These two commands are the further explained in His Torah.
I feel that when I fall short of how Jesus lived and treated others, that I have let Him down. Since He died for me, the least I should do for Him is let His life be seen in my ways. You don't have to believe me, but if we ever meet, and spend any time together, you might see a difference. If you go o my web site ministerwhereyouare.org you can see a video of my preaching and hopefully as you go through it, see that I am more pleading than preaching. know if I want all to be saved and live full out for Jesus, it is Jesus in me that makes me like that, because I wasn't like that before March 2001 when He changed my life.

I will visit this page as time allows. You should not, however, allow yourself the luxery of thinking I will see some big and blinding revelation in this or hear something that I have not heard before. I say this for you and not for me as you might be in for a disappointment.
I have had heavy hitters of all kinds wanting to lead me to Jesus. The people on this board, local yokels in the area where we live which is akin to a Christian amusement park, kind of like Six Flags over Jesus, Billy Graham (the wrestler, not the minister), Cloud Ten Pictures people, you name it.

I think you're all forgetting something REALLY important here.
Sarah Palin is a VPILF.
That pretty much makes up for her being a moose hunting, environmental destroying and conservative ploy.

Thankfully, the Palin & McCain ship is starting to sink as thinking people, which exclused of course the bulk of the bornagainers here, wise up to what they are really about. Mavericks, nothing. Fools more like. McCaiin is a lying old fossil who should have been voted out if office two decades ago, while Palin is a dangerous religious zealot ever dumber than the bulk of the nosiemakers amogn the street preachers , found here.
There is indeed hope for America and that is through Obama and Bidin.

I got tired of both sides getting overly nasty. It's impossible to carry on a debate and an actual exchange of ideas that might move someone's viewpoint when people are so busy spewing invective (or meaningless, infinite clutter...Jack) that it becomes unpleasant to even wade through a thread.
