Tuesday September 9th, 2008, Virginia Commonwealth University:
I began preaching at around 12:15, there was heavy student traffic where I started preaching and students gathered immediately, partly due to a guy who started running around me screaming saying I was a crazy hypocrite Bible thumper, although I haven‘t barely said anything yet.
I started preaching about the immodest dress and behaviors of the students, especially the females, and the “popular” sins for college students, and immediately 300 - 330 gathered. I preached over many hecklers who wanted to just entertain those that are drowning into perdition, while rebuking, and reproving, very sharply and harshly.
I preached for about 55 minutes on conditional forgiveness and repentance, Luke 13:3, Acts 3:19. Acts 20:21, Mark 1:15, and about disobedience/obedience; Titus 1:16 James 1:22 Romans 2:13 Luke 11:28 John 14:21 etc… Most of the students called me crazy, and threatened to hurt me, many listened and appeared to be convicted about their sin, and many were making jokes, dancing and trying to preach over me.
It rained pretty hard from about 1:15 to 1:45, so I talked to some students by a building under some shelter.
Once it stopped raining the sun came out shining so I got back preaching against sin and ungodly living. I answered some questions, which were mostly fleeting attempts to justify their willful choices to break Gods’ laws; Hebrews 10:26 James 1:14,15 1John 3:4. The crowd size for the rest of the afternoon mainly stayed around 220 - 260. This campus is plagued with sodomites, baby killers, and feminists. One lesbian with a balled head stood next to me on a ledge and kept her pants down for a little while, and the crowd cheered and smiled with lust. I did have some good 10-20 minute bursts of bible preaching that was very loud and very hard that subdued and quieted the crowd throughout the afternoon though. I answered questions from about 3pm to 4pm. I preached for a total of about 2 1/2 hours. I then rejoiced in the Lord as I left the campus headed to prepare for tomorrow.
Wednesday September 10th, 2008 Virginia Commonwealth University:
I started preaching in the same spot around 11:50 during a class break, warning about the eternal hell fire that sinners will face; Matt. 13:42 Matt. 25:41 Rev 14:10 As students gathered and listened they began accusing me of sin, and telling me I was going to hell because everybody sins because everybody is human and being born is sin, I stated If being born is sin then in order to repent you would have to be unborn, commit suicide, and/or NOT be born again.
By 12:40 there was at least 300 people scattered listening and witnessing, and the crowd remained very large and very rowdy for the entire day. I did not expect it to be such chaos, but the majority of these students are pretty hard hearted and wanted to be entertained greatly. Students were blasting radio speakers in my ears, exposing themselves, doing back flips, break dancing, blowing up balloons, putting open condoms in my pockets, making out with each other, holding banners, playing instruments etc…One guy later hit another guy in the face with a half filled soda can. I rebuked him openly before all.
I warned repeatedly about the coming judgment, Romans 2:16 Hebrews 9:27 Jude15, and exhorted others to a holy walk in Christ, 1John 2:3-6 Ephesians 2:10 Hebrews 12:14. Campus security and police came over, but nevertheless was kind and allowed me to continue preaching while some cried that I should be sent off campus. I had some good questions asked me, but many sounded as such; Didn’t Jesus say keep your faith to yourself? Didn’t Jesus condemn street preachers? If everybody sins how don’t you? Soon a local pastor stepped in the middle of the crowd that was circled and spoke for about a couple minutes, but when repentance and the book of 1 John was mentioned he disagreed with the WORD and stated he respected me but Christians can sin everyday with no if ands or buts about, because he said he did.
I contended earnestly for the faith, which was once delivered unto the saints, and preached straight until 3pm. I spoke to a couple of Muslim guys who were angry and began cursing me because I told them that Mohammad was in Hell for rejecting Christ as his savior. I sat and answered questions to a group of about 40 - 50 until about 3:25pm. I saw and felt the word of God penetrating a lot of Hearts, and many sinners who were threatening and heckling the day prior, were listening quietly and were some of which asked the sincere and better questions.
This campus needs some frequent Holy Ghost power preaching desperately, pray the seeds sown will be watered.
