Art is big on these Ozzy songs , but if you really want to go back, the most evil song ever would be Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven . if you can find the hilarious TBN expose' explaining why from the 1980s and the days of records as opposed to cds, you'll see why.
I am playing this now as I work by the way.

Isn't Page a disciple of Crowley ?
Imo, as the most boring piece of music ever written , "Stairway to Heaven" is only second to "Hotel California" by the Eagles , . Even non Christians vomit them here. I guess the guys have been fed up with this commercial stuff.

Stairway to Heaven and Hotel Calfiornia are from my generation so in my eyes youa re committing blasphemy here.
Not sure if Jimmy Page dug Crwoley or not .
Oddly enough I have never been a follower of bands and usually there is only one song I go for by any band or singer and not their entire work. For example Stairway to Heaven by LZ, Hotel California by Eagles, Fire In the Mountain by Marshall Tucker, Dust in the Wind by Kansas, The Wall by PinK Floyd, etc...follow me,...I have maybe one or two different songs I go for, but otherwise not much for the bands playing them overall.
I have odd musical tastes. My pref. is for Spanish bullfighting music, flamenco and film scores by the likes of Goblin, Simonetti, Goldsmith , Morricone, De Masi and Nicolai. Yes, I am being serious.

...as we say in my country "all tastes are in the nature" i know well a fellow , he is German (non christian) , who was fan of punk/rock until he met Bossa Nova, and now he is fond of this music... my generation is also the 70's. That was the music i listened when a teenager. I'm just a bit younger than you

What is it with you guys and this Crowley guy? I remember someone ranting on and on about him in reference to John Lennon a while ago...
Oooo Dale, I LOVE me some Morricone. None of Clint Eastwood's westerns would be quite the same without that characteristic musical score.

Morricone has done so many things and not just the westerns you mention. I don't know about your area, but if you go to New York as we are in two months for a weekend, you can find loads of scores of his. Likewise on ebay. Some of the lesser known or nonwestern scores of his are the best including some for obscure films such as Hornet's Nest, Machinegun McCain, Days of Heaven, The Girl & The General, A Lizard Under A Woman's Skin, Bloodline, The Sicilian Clan and more. Then there are of course the blockbusters like The Untouchables, The Mission, Wolf and the like.
I might suggest you investigate Goblin as well, though some people find their hard rock themes a bit odd for film. Their work is readily available and to be heard on older Dario Argento films such as Deep Red, Tenebre, Suspiria and the like, as well as Romero's original Dawn of the Dead.
I know the composer and keyboardist , Claudio Simonetti, who was with them before forming his own band. You can hear his individual works in the Masters of Horror on Showtime , in the episodes titled Pelts and Jennifer 8.
Interesting story as one of the born againer here once noticed a Goblin cd in my car, with the Goblin logo and made a crack about how they looked Satanic. What this nitwit didn't know was Simonetti was invovled with that chain email a few years back, sending a full length Jesus movie by email, in Arabic and other languages, into countries where Christianity was banned.

You actually have a Christian friend?

You actually have a Christian friend? SHOCKING. We can be FRIENDS, with CHRISTIANS, and not turn to ashes on contact? WHO KNEW. It may interest you all to know that my roommate and his family are all Christians, and they've been SO kind and have taken me under their wing while I'm between apartments for a while. They have never once tried to convert me; they just show an example of how good Christians conduct their lives, and love me. I have great respect for them and their chosen faith as a result. They respect me, I respect them. FANCY THAT. Dale: Ooo that's all very interesting to me. I'll have to check those out. I've always wanted to investigate other things that Morricone did, but I never knew where to look for them. Thanks for the info! Oh, and I'm located in Atlanta, by the way. Sadly, very far away from NYC... but I've been there, and it's a pretty awesome city.

We drove through Atlanta without stopping a few years back, but may make a trip back there sometime. On the contrary on the same trip, we spent a day in Athens, which we loved.
The problem here is most music stores only stock the blockbuster Morricone scores such as The Good, The Bad & The Ugly , The Untouchables, etc or some conglamorations that have again, his best known scores, marketed over and over. You need to just log in Ennio Morricone on Ebay or maybe Amazon where you can find the imports and the rarer stuff. Not all are terribly expensive either.
Being older than the bulk of you, I grew up on Morricone scores and Leone films. . I remember when I was kid playing cowboy with friends, while playing the For A Few Dollars More record and telling them "We can't shoot each other until the music stops."
People so readily identify Morricone's Leone films they fail to realize just how many lesser westerns for Corbucci, Tessari, Petroni and the like, he composed with equal talent.
If you can find the dvd or the cd, try
Death Rides A Horse The Hellbenders The Big Gundown The Mercenary Navajo Joe My Name is Nobody The Great Silence Guns for San Sebastian Two Mules For Sister Sarah The Five Man Army
AS for Christian friends, it may surprise people to know I met the Dream Team and even rode in the Magic Bus when Miles, Eli and Evan came through ehre a year or so ago. The stipualtions were simple. No photos of me or our meeting and if they wanted to talk about Jesus that was fine, but keep it toward what God had done for them rather than trying to convert me, unless I brought the subject up. It is amazing when you actually sit down and talk with someone who you have nothing in common with on the surface, you can find common ground.
When I was in Rome as part of as high school tour/class credit in 1975 I actually had the audacity to call Morricone's home. I was told he was always glad to meet with fans (this was before I was writing articles pretty much) but was not in Rome and if I could call the next week we could set up a brief meeting. Sadly I was not there in Rome long enough. How did I find him? Incredibly, I just looked in the Rome phone book and he was listed there.

Dale: Oh man that's awesome. Bummer that he wasn't in town... If I ever go to Rome I will call him up! I met the Dream Team a couple of years ago too. And again the year after, when they came back. And I has pictures! If I may share: That's me on the far right of the girls, with Katie to my left (she used to post here a lot back in the day), and you can see Miles praisin' Jaysus there behind us.

Is this Morricone guy evil? No, just good music... sorry I guess we did get a little off topic. But I don't think there is such a thing as "evil" music, so... yeah...

Yeah, they accuse me of a lot of things on this board, which is hilarious because I am 100% virgin, LOL. Shows what they know... Yes, we bisexuals are CLEARLY giant s|uts, with all the non-sex I'm having. Sweet, thanks!

And there for nostalic purposes in the photo, is Miles in that dreadful purple shirt of his. Oh yeah, I knew there was another stipulation I was forgetting about surrounding my meeting the dream team,. Miles could not wear the purple shirt.
