I pity Bill Maher. God have mercy on him... You pity him why? Because he thinks for himself?

You're joking right? There wouldn't even be intelligibility, logic, or reason without God, let alone "thinking". He is simply another foolish sinner that is suppressing the truth in unrighteousness...

Yeah no logical thinking is possible without the invisible sky wizard, you know that. Now repent or burn in hell for not believing the ramblings of these people and their book!

The guy is lucky to live in America. I wonder if he would have real guts to oppose the mollahs and say that the Quran is rubbish if he lived in Iran.

First yours is not a valid remark as he does NOT live in Iran. Anmerica's greatest threat is NOT the Moslems from outside, but the Christian fanatics within a la Bush, Palin, Hucakbee and others. Once we get rid of them, then we can work on making fun of the Moslems.
I ewally love a story I heard in an atheist club where some woman years ago caused a riot in the moslem part of Israel where she made a big sign, carefully tracing the letters in Arabic so a picture of one pig said Alah and another said Muhammid . I wish someone would have the gust to start making and marketing these posters here as I would hang them by every mosque in America I could. If I lvied in Iran or Saudi Arabia I would revel against them as well, but again, I DON'T live there.
The bottom line is science proves all Gods are imaginary. One day, ex-Christians, ex-Moslems and ex-whatever will all learn to live without the myth.

You have Moslems all around France, right? Why don't YOU go and do likewise and make fun of them if it is such an issue?

This movie is an abomination and those involved will be bound for hell if they do not repent.
Be not deceived, God is not mocked.

Bill Mahr is more than less trying to secure this "anti-religion" niche for himself. He loves to rant about it in controlled environments, ie...his show, the movie, and during stand up comedy, but he has refused a number of smart Christians offer to debate about the existence of God.
It was kind of interesting. During one of his shows somewhere around the middle of last season, there was a person on the panel that had pretty strong religious convictions and went after Bill pretty hard on it. The guy ignored the insults and went for the meat of the matter and Bill finally just backed down and said, "Well, anyway...my movie is really funny." It kind of spoke volumes of Bill's lack of research into the matter and his inability to defend his position. Most of the non-believers here do a much better job debating the issue than he was capable of.

Well, but his movie IS really funny! ;D
That's okay, Tony, Richard Dawkins can destroy you any time you feel the need. As for me, I'm not an atheist, so this is not my argument.
