This last Thursday I preached on the University of North Alabama for the first time. The University of Alabama in Huntsville had called UNA to tell them we were coming. I guess either the Police or the administration was expecting us and therefore we had absolutely no problems preaching on the campus. I had never preached on this campus before, but we caused no small stir. A very massive crowd gathered for hours. A camera crew came out, I think for campus TV, and the newspaper also was out there to cover the story. One girl said on facebook that some classes were canceled because of a lack of attendance due to the preaching. This campus proved to be extremely sinful and wicked. I preached a very basic message of sin, hell, repentance, and the cross. But the hostility from the crowd was very great. Not all in the crowd were hostile though. Some Christians actually encouraged me in the ministry and some sinners said they appreciated me being out there. I hope to return to UNA in the future to preach for an entire week. Some UNA students are discussing the outreach on their facebook: www.facebook.com/group.php?sid=dcb98b14b1c9ab9b9aced3bfba12a21d&refurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fs.php%3Finit%3Dq%26q%3Djesse%2Bmorrell%26ref%3Dts%26sid%3Ddcb98b14b1c9ab9b9aced3bfba12a21d&gid=29261885501 (If this link doesn't work, search FaceBook for "I'm going to hell UNA" www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=31079752803&ref=mfwww.new.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=29344238787&ref=mfI am also going to be uploading video footage soon. I have some other campuses I need to upload first: University of West Florida, University of South Alabama, and University of Alabama in Huntsville. Once those are uploaded, I will be able to upload the videos from University of North Alabama.

Looks like you caused quite a stir brother. That looks like about 200 or so students just in the picture above. That's pretty good for a campus that has under 6,000 undergraduate students. Have they ever had a preacher before?

The picture only shows about 1/2 of the crowd. There are more students to the left and to the right. The only other preacher I know of that has been there is John Duncan. He said that when he was there, he had riotous meetings as well. I think he said that he legally opened up the campus. Some students have uploaded some video footage they took: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gX9oO77wHAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=XM1K6EQ581wwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ISTJj2Orx_oThe video footage I took will be up in maybe a week or two. It will have good audio because of the wireless microphone.

It was TSU that was physically hostile.
This was UNA and they were mostly verbally hostile.

My friend Jim Deferio went to a campus up here in New York last week, SUNY Fredonia, which is a small campus and it drew about 1,000 people. It was crazy. There is video on youtube... www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV9cImgXup0&feature=relatedI am going to preach at SUNY Albany with him tomorrow. Blessings, Miles

Wow Miles! That's a lot of students. Not sure that is 1,000...maybe 500-600, but that is still a HUGE crowd. Praise the Lord. I wish that he could have been at the top of the steps instead though...

Can you imagine God's view of all this rebellion? I watch these videos and I could practically see the demonic influence all over these crowds.
