I will start. I believe Christ never even eixsted and was a made up creation such as Zeus , Thor, Hera, Midas or whoever have you. If you got hrough hsitory you find many dying god myths remarkably like the Christ myth that predate Christianity.
Some here say I contradict myself when I say I hate Jesus as I am not able to hate something I do not believe exists! How is it a contradiction. Ask the Christians here and they say they hate alternative religions right? What I hate is the Christ myth has caused more harm tot he world than this has ever caused deception, caused more violence and more false hope than any other religion. I hate Jesus because even though he does not exist and never did, fools have made him a quasi-reality by flaunting him so strongly.
Jesus. The made up man, the myth, the savior who isn't there.
Now what do YOU think of Jesus?

Actually, he did "exist", kind of. This is kind of a vague recollection of my History professor's lecture on the subject last year:
Several people lived around that time whose ideas might have been combined (long after their deaths) into the modern conception of "Jesus's teachings", but the one that stands out the most is that there was an actual man named Joshua ben-Joseph (Joshua, the son of Joseph). His name was spelled and pronounced several different ways by different people (Joshua, Yeshua) and Jesus is a romanization of that name. He was a revolutionary of sorts among the Jewish faiths, and was in fact wildly unpopular with his own people and with the Romans (with the exception of those who followed him). I'm not sure if Joshua ben-Joseph ever actually claimed to be the son of God, but it was obviously attributed to him at some point.
That being said, that historical evidence lends no credence to any claim that he was a divine being or even a prophet of any sort. On a different note, it gives me a bit of a chuckle to think that I have the same name as the main character of the New Testament. ;D

"When the legend becomes the fact, print the legend " is a line from The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance.
I also belkieve A Jesus of some sort existed, but his expl oits have been added to, distorted and blended with legend so deeplu it becomes impossible to seperate fact and fiction.
Not a new story either. Look at Billy the Kid, Jesse James, Dillinger, Lincoln, Washington and on and on and on in more modern times. The characters in tales and movies do not even closely resemble the persons from real lfie, because again, the legend has blended so deeply with reality the truth is lost.

To believe in Jesus is to believe in a lie. The myth is what they cling to. Christianity is a crutch for the weak.

Jesus Christ is the king of kings. I wish some of you would log in as members and not guests so I might email you personally to discuss this with you as well. Jesus has done much for me, more than you can ever imagine. I shout his name and praises to him from the rooftop. Amen.
