Hello Brother Micah,
I am writing to let you know how hearing you preach last August on ECU's campus, as well as getting to know you has impacted my life, and my walk with God. You were the first campus preacher that I have seen take such a strong stance against sin and worldliness, and preach so boldly for holiness and modesty. When I first met you I had just began open air preaching and I had only preached on a campus twice and it was only for about twenty minutes each time. When you asked me to preach in front of almost 300 people one of the days you were at ECU encouraged and motivated me to keep on. But more so your preaching, sacrificial lifestyle and our phone conversations has encouraged me to pray more, memorize scriptures and preach harder. And I thank God for you because it has helped my preaching a great deal and inspired me to go for the Lord full time soon.
Around that time I had been saved for less than a couple years, but felt that the Lord was leading me into serving him more by preaching, and living a life of holiness like yourself.
After I visited the holiness church near me that you mentioned, I have been attending ever since and plan on becoming a member. The Pastor and his family as well as the church has been a blessing to me in so many ways. If I wouldn't have met you I probably never would have found this church which loves holiness and hates sin, because most don't.(at least from my experience). I will continue to pray for you and your family, and continue to pray for me and mine, thanks again.
Stay encouraged and keep on preaching that WORD. 2 Timothy.4:2, Romans.10:14,
Acts.13:44
God bless,
R. J.
