Here is a list of evangelists that I know of till now. I would personally like to see Jesse's opinion on who's a false teacher and who's not. Some are contemporary whereas some lived centuries ago. I would really appreciate it. Put T for true preacher. Put F for false preacher.or N/A if you are not sure or you dont know them at all. The first one has been done for you as an example Jesse Morell T Rob Bell Adrian Rogers Jerry Bridges John Piper C.S. Lewis Andy Stanley Louie Giglio Rick Warren Francis Chan Beth Moore Jerry Fallwell Ergun Caner John Calvin Martin Luther James Arminus Billy Graham Kenneth Copeland Creflo Dollar Ray Comfort Kirk Cameron Todd Friel James Robison John Wesley Charles Spurgeon Paul Washer Joyce Meyer Benny Hinn Ravi Zacharias Kent Hovind David Jeremiah Joel Osteen John MacArthur Charles Finney Leonard Ravenhill
Thank you

What is the point of this? Probably not a benevolent one.

Just needed your opinion. In a way we still should know whose false and whose not. If you feel this thread is inappropriate and in no way edifying it will be raptured.

Don't know them all , but i would recommand particularly Washer , Ravenhill , Spurgeon, Wesley , Comfort
By the way , I don't know what to think of C.S Lewis , as his books for youth have clear references of the Occult.

I don't know all of them, but I know most of them.
Most of them preached some truth and some error. Some of them preached more truth than error and some of them preach more error than truth.
I don't know anyone on the list that was 100% correct on everything.
Definitely stay away from John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, John Piper, Martin Luther, Paul Washer, John MacArthur, and anyone else who teaches the false doctrines of Calvinism.
And also stay away from the prosperity preachers.
I highly recommend John Wesley (and John Fletcher), even though I am not a Wesleyan-Arminian. I agree more with them than with the Calvinists. Unfortunately, they believed in a type of original sin.
I highly recommend Leonard Ravenhill. He was not a Calvinist. He believed in perfection, etc. Unfortunately, he believed in a type of original sin. But he did believe in the governmental atonement view.
And I highly recommend Charles Finney. His theology is almost all good, but he had some Calvinistic views. Unfortunately, he believed in eternal foreknowledge and perseverance of the saints. But overall, His theology was excellent.
The Theologian I agree the most with is Gordon C. Olson. I recommend his book "The Truth Shall Set You Free".
Anyone that teaches free will and the moral government of God is OK with me. I also like most of the theologians who teach open theism.

Maybe I should put together an extensive list of theologians that I think were good.
Of course, many of the theologians that I like were not "popular" like many of the people on this list. Woe to you when all men speak well of you Jesus said. Those who preach the truth are not usually popular.
