This happened a while ago, but it was by far my favorite "ministry moment"
I took my 13 year old brother with me out to a clubbing district in downtown Dallas. He had just recently been saved in April, and it was August (so he's been saved 4 months). Anyways, I gave him a few basic tracts and talked with him a little about how to handle things.
I was talking to a crowd outside of a club. When i finished and turned around, there was my brother talking to two grown men. These men were probably in their early 30's. I watched as these men talked about how they had traveled the world in search of truth. They had experienced all sorts of different religions.
My brother brought up simple biblical truth. I watched as these men softened. They decided to turn around, leave Deep Ellum and read their bibles at home.
I was astounded. Two full grown men, jaded from searching, completely immersed in the world...were disarmed in a matter of moments from a 13 year old newly saved child.
God truly does use the foolish things to shame the wise.
