I got off work at 11 pm and decided to head straight up to Westport the main club area. I have been praying that more laborers for the harvest be sent there and it so happened there was five Christians out there preaching. I had met them the previous Friday and one was open air preaching outside a club. The rest were doing one to one witnessing. I saw some people walk by mocking him as he was preaching some threw back gospel tracts at him. I fellowshipped with them for a while and then I decided to walk around and hand out gospel tracts. I handed one to a man and it said heaven or hell which one will you choose, I talked to him for a while and he said he was catholic but doubted his religion. I told him I used to be catholic and I used to have my doubts too especially about the rosary and confessing my sins to a priest. I told him nowhere in the bible is the rosary accounted for and also Jesus became the High priest for all and we didn’t need to confess our sins to a catholic priest. His friends kept telling him to leave and get in the car but he told them he wanted to talk more with me. He talked to me and said he really wanted to know if God was real, I prayed for him and he thanked me. I witnessed to this one guy who was saying he had a lot of doubts about the bible, I shared with him 2 Timothy 3:16.I think I talked to him for about and hour, I explained how we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God and how we cant redeem ourselves. I told him that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for our sin and that’s why he died on the cross. He was asking me you mean this man Jesus did all that? I told him yes, I could tell most of his doubts had subsided but he was not willing to admit so he kept asking more questions, I think I talked to him for about an hour. Finally someone called him on his cellphone and he had to leave but he thanked me and said it was a very good conversation. I gave him a gospel tract. I met this other guy outside a club who said that he loved Jesus. I told him he had to let go of the club scene and the world to truly follow Jesus. He got upset when I told him that there were two choices it was either heaven or hell. He told me I was wrong to tell him that he was going to hell, I told him I hadn’t said that but the bible says he who does not believe in Jesus is condemned. I gave out more tracts and did one to one for the rest of the night. I am very happy that more laborers are showing up on Fridays. To God be all the glory!!!!
