Astounding what just happened. God be all the glory, just two hours ago I got a call from a fella who used to work with me & said he wanted to come talk to me about the Bible. I got a chance to witness to him at a mexican restaraunt a year and a half ago or so. He came by and the Lord impressed me to show him (The Four Chairs) by Adrian Despres (hilarious & intense Gospel message) on dvd.......he said after it was over man....dude i'm in number four......do you have a word for the day? I read john 3 verse by verse and we talked about it slowly all the way through. He got so tore up! The Holy Spirit felt like He would knock down the walls! ha Well John said I got baptized as a kid but I need to get right and accept Jesus as my Saviour for real! I said pray!!! He repented, he was soundly saved!!!!! My head is still spinning. He basically came from nowhere, I haven't talked to him in a looooooooong time! Holy Ghost has been at work for a while!

Praise God .I love how God reaches people with the gospel. The Holy Spirit alone convicts the heart and I praise God that this guy had godly sorrow leading to repentance.

The four chairs sounds like "Step Up to Life" evangelism approach. It uses the law and has been used for over 35 years. So, what is the basis of the 4 chairs - what are the Four Chairs we can be in?

The four chairs sounds like "Step Up to Life" evangelism approach. It uses the law and has been used for over 35 years. So, what is the basis of the 4 chairs - what are the Four Chairs we can be in? I would like to ask you what the step up to life thing is haha, but anywayz Adrian points out the first chair is a Biblical born again believer who loves the Lord, evangelizes, loves God & loves people. (he also points out that terminology like radical believer & on fire makes a humanistic mind think first chair ppl are the extreme whereas a normal Christian is ok in the Lord's sight & they weren't meant for that type of sellout) Second Chair-people who got saved and gotten used to God, maybe wide open at first, but have grown calloused and cold (lukewarm) Adrian hammers this chair(when I first heard it at a conference, he threw this chair over the head of one side of the audience he got so mad talking about it! It is now on dvd just to note~ Third chair-person who has an intellectual assent of God, thinks they are saved, but in reality they are lost (very scary imagery used) Fourth Chair-lost and knows it, or another world religion my modern evangelistic approach and mickey mouse christianity I was living at the time got totally blown out of the water by this message! Praise God for sure

just a checkup so to speak, he showed up at Church tonite (mine) which is crazy cuz he lives pretty far away I didn't know he was coming or nothing, but he publicly confessed in front of everyone and wants to get baptized on the advice of our college leader.........just being around him tonite I can see the new creation so easily! I realize I haven't seen a ton of salvation in my time so up close and personal but the whole thing God does with someone totally blows my mind( I don't know if I should do something, say something haha) just praise the Lord I reckon !
