Open Air Outreach has been working very hard on creating good quality videos that have solid Biblical theology, to make available to freely watch on the internet. There is so much bad theology out there, especially on the internet. That is why we want to flood the net with free and solid Christian teaching videos! Our first big project “Is God the Author of Sin? Calvinism Refuted!” is now completed. Many Christians are unaware of the fact that “Reformed Theology” or “Calvinism” actually teaches that God is the author or cause of all sin. But this video exposes this false and blasphemous theology for what it really teaches, providing an abundance of quotes from Reformed Theologians on this topic. We show from Scripture how the God of the Bible is not the author or cause of sin but is actually the enemy of sin who never wanted sin to exist in the first place! God did not decree or cause the entrance of sin into the world for “the good pleasure of His will” but has actually been deeply grieved and broken hearted over the entrance of sin into the worl d, as the Bible clearly teaches (Gen. 6:5-6). The teaching is an hour and ten minutes long and we’ve divided it into five videos, about fifteen minutes each. These videos can be viewed in HD (720p) and you can watch them in two places: 1. www.OpenAirOutreach.WordPress.com2. www.YouTube.com/BibleTheologyPlease let me know what you think about our new video project! Many more good quality and solid videos are coming!

The bit about temptation being an opportunity to develop good moral character has been very helpful to me. I've often had the idea that when temptation came that something was wrong with me. Now I feel like temptation can be a blessing, an opportunity to overcome and to please God. This was like a missing puzzle piece that I was looking for. I don't have to be insecure and discouraged in the face of temptation.
Learning that my nature was not sinful helped me with this quite a bit because how can you overcome when you are always a sinner. Then learning that God did not by any chance foreknow I would end up in hell helped a lot also because failure could always be over the horizon. But now even temptation itself can be a blessing. It makes Romans 8 seem truly possible. Like that which is good does not need to be made death to me.
