I was wondering if any of you knew how to split a video imported into windows movie maker into more than 1 clip.
I tried the create clips option, but it still is 1 clip. I tried everything else I can think of but to no effect.
Thank you for your help.

Can you edit the clip at all? If so, delete the 2nd half of it, then save it. Open the program back up, then delete the first half, save it. Now you have 2 seperate clips.
I think you can do that with Movie Maker, but I have only used that program twice or so.
EDIT: Make sure you save a copy of your file, that way you don't somehow end up deleting part of the original file. Backups will cover your back up!

Here is another question. Why is it that my video files have no sound in both Windows Movie Maker and also my MAGIX movie editing software. When I just simply play the mpeg files directly they are fine.
