Unfortunately I have a TV in my house and I just happened to overhear that there are 7,000 new cases of leprosy. Alot of those infected they believe are Mexican immigrants that are trying to get into the United States.
About a half hour ago I just happened to walk by the TV that I try to avoid at all costs and had to watch the image of a rap artist violently raping some woman in Africa I believe.Luckly I jumped in front of the TV in the nick of time because my children were present.
How I would love to take that TV to the curb!!!

Oh I forgot to mention that they had to play it three different times in the span of a five minute session. The news is not the news anymore. It's only meant to make money off a wicked and perverse society. No shame!!! God made hell for a reason because of desperately wicked hearts! Who can know!!!

Maybe I'm dense, but what are you trying to say about the leprosy statistics? There are roughly 6500 cases in the US, with about 200-250 new cases each year. Most cases are already-existing conditions in immigrants from third-world nations.
Regarding the second piece...video of a rapper violently raping a woman in Africa? Are you referring to the rapper who got a 15 year old to come on stage for a "contest to win a trip to Africa" and then danced with simulated sexual positions? It's dirty, and it's certainly not right to do with a 15 year old, but it's also not rape.

Well the growing number of leprosy cases seems to point to two things to me. First, it most likely means that leprosy patients are living longer thanks to imroved medicine. That would certainly explain a lot of the "growing population" numbers. Second, if cases of leprosy are indeed being brought into the country by immigrants, it seems to -strongly- suggest that we need to be offering good solid no-questions-asked healthcare to people in the country. Do we want people with leprosy to be walking around contagious and untreated on American streets?
Regarding the other issue with the rapper, I would certainly agree that it's sick. Worse than rape though? Nope. Sounds -way- less bad than rape. I imagine the young woman involved would certainly agree that being raped would be worse.
