Jesse and Jeff preach OA in Rockvill, MD - Streets download.yousendit.com/F2EA440A61AA792D Jesse starts off and gets shut down by security. It was a place with fountains and restaurants like a night life district. The security didn't seem too sure whether or not it was public or private. They said that abnormal occurances were not tolerated. Jesse asks if talking to people is a normal thing around here. The security said yes, so Jesse "talked" to me about the gospel from 20 feet away. Afterwards Jeff got up and we were finally shut down as there was aparantly one complaint. This was very civil, not loud at all. It was a quiet area so they preached at typical conversation level. Lots of people just sat around and listened. There were some good Christians out there that were encouraging us. The security just watched and didn't say anything till the end. They never called the cops. Immediately after we were shut down the final time, within one minute, it started to rain.

It was a definitely a good spot...and I believe it could continue to be so if we (or whoever is in the area) goes through the channels we are now aware of.
I think the conversation between Jesse and the security officers is a good example of what to do, how to talk and how to act under such a circumstance when confronted by security.
...of course there are situations where extenuating circumstances demand a more firm approach...But this night was a good night.
