Over a week ago, my wife, my son, and myself attended the March For Life pro-life rally in Dallas. We didn't attend so much for the "pro-life" aspect of the rally, but mainly because that's where a large number of souls would be gathered for us to reach with the Gospel message. It was also an event that my wife could safely attend with our toddler in the stroller.
The rally was held outside the large cathedral in downtown Dallas, and the march went to the federal building in downtown as well. I gave out many tracts to people that we passed. GospelTract.org's "Got Fruit?" tract was especially good to have on hand. Almost all the people there were Roman Catholic, and many folks were just good ol' conservative Americans. In other words, the crowd was friendly to Gospel literature, but needed to be warned of God's coming judgment and that one does not earn credit with God for being "pro-life."
I didn't really have the chance to talk to people too much, but I did have several short conversations and gave away many tracts. Here are some pictures and a link to a video from one of the local TV news stations. You can see my wife and myself walk past the camera at 2:08. You can't miss me. My banner from Cry To God was great! It was visible no matter where in the crowd you were standing due to its height.
Some photos I found online from the event: (See if you can spot my banner)
Some photos my wife took:
