I began preaching on the brickyard at 11:55am and immediately gathered a crowd which quickly grew over 50. Most of the students were sitting and not many attempted to interrupt. A Sorority girl that claimed she was a virgin angrily approached me and began spouting that I was talking nonsense and attempted to rebuke me for preaching against the fornication, and drunkenness that the fraternities and sororities engage in.
Later a young girl who I preached to last year, arrived and began hopping around in the middle of the circle of students desiring to initiate a bible battle with me. This girl after my visit to NC State last year began having frequent discussions through the phone with another open air preacher about the message and content of my message which applied to her.
Around 1pm the crowd had swelled over 200 and the majority were yelling, shouting random questions and repetitiously misquoting 1John 1:8, and Matt.7:1. As the crowd grew more and more rowdy, and many hypocrites and false teachers tried to preach over me and to cool the conscious’s of their sinful class mates, I rebuked sharply and warned of these deceivers that Paul the Apostle had written about; Acts 13:10, 20:29-30, 2Timothy 4:3-4.
One guy who after failing to preach over me, was deceptively cunning enough to draw about half of the crowd 20 feet away where he spewed unbiblical doctrine, and comforted them in their sin for about 10 minutes. After 2pm the crowd was still large and very emotional and I was totally surrounded by students yelling in my face, including a highly aggravated football player who “believed” in God but not in hell or the Bible. This student continuously attempted to intimidate me as well as a Muslim student that apparently needs a prescription of Ritalin.
A Police officer soon would demand the crowd to back up 10 feet from me or have to deal with him; I was pleasantly surprised at this. The crowd remained large, for the rest of the afternoon and the majority were rowdy, and in opposition to the word of God as I preached dozens of scriptures condemning sin and lifting up the banner of holiness. Toward the end The Holy Ghost moved on me to preach very hard and with much authority and I began to weep while pleading with them to be made free. Romans 6:18,23; 8:2, John 8:32,36. I ended the preaching at 3:01pm.

Brother Pat. O and I drove up together this morning after he decided to join me today on campus. I began preaching on the brickyard around 12:05 and in a short time many students were sitting, interacting and asking questions. One man brought out a drum, cans of paint, and an 80lb golden retriever. He then let his dog loose and began following me around throwing objects at me, and once appeared as if he was going to slap me with a handful of blue paint. A Muslim student from yesterday began to heckle and throw objects at me as well; I ignored them and continued to preach.
By 1pm the crowd had grown to over 300 and although the majority was listening many were mocking, contradicting and blaspheming. A female student who professed to be a Christian took off her shirt and followed me around with a tank top on upset because I ignored her insincere loaded questions.
A police officer would soon inform us that we were in the wrong area and needed to move to a nearby grassy area which probably is a more comfortable sitting area for the students. After changing spots about 200 or more students soon gathered, and the police officers on hand were very helpful in keeping back the rowdy emotional women who were desperate to remain at least two inches from my face.
Around 1:30pm I handed the crowd over to Brother Pat. As I went to the sideline some students had questions but many were about my preaching method and my lack of love and compassion for the students. A male student wearing a red sweat shirt who was part of a campus ministry reproved me many times for not preaching the way he would have me to, and did this many times throughout the day, I believe out of jealousy and envy.
As I was sitting I had a talk with a very open minded unbelieving girl who asked many good questions. The Lord helped to me clearly explain to her the message of the gospel and afterward she seemed pretty convicted and asked several more good questions. The crowd continued to fluctuate as Brother Pat preached and he turned the fairly large crowd back over to me at 2:30. I was seeking for questions at this time and since nobody had any I preached and taught concerning the many misconceptions like Christians being sinners, the impossibility of being freed from sin, and the theory of devilution.
We stopped the preaching at 3:05 pm and talked to many different groups and individuals. I was encouraged after meeting a young Christian man by the name of Jordan who believes the Bible, understood and agreed with our message. He said he was encouraged by the preaching and also somewhat convicted by our boldness and devotion to Christ displayed by preaching in public. We left the campus at 4:19pm.
