Hi everybody, I just wanted to let you know that I'm back on the message boards. I apparently lost my account through inactivity, but I just re-registered. This is mostly directed at Brother Micah and Sister Elizabeth, since I know them the best.
Will anyone be returning to Ohio University this spring?

Most of the nonbelievers were purged in the great purging of '09. Which started the great Dale Hunt, where millions of Dales appeared out of no where pretending to be believers and sewing deceit among the ranks of Christians. Perhaps your account was lost during this time?
You know, I've never met Brother Micah but I always hoped one day he'd come to San Marcos, hes such an amusing guy. BTW, don't go to Ohio University, I go to Texas State in San Marcos. Almost done too.
So how are things going my fellow heathen?

Things are good, I like a lot of your points on the board. In general when I say that my mind is not necessarily reliable I typically mean that I believe its possible (though improbable) that the brain in a vat theory (or a similar scenario) is possible.
If you ever get a chance to meet Brother Micah, I recommend you do. Although he does do the typical calling people out who walk by thing, if you talk to he or his wife when they are not the one preaching, they're more patient in explaining their message/ their theories behind it.

Well thank you. I like debating with these guys every now and again though it usually just ends up with both parties banging their heads against the wall since no one ever budges from their own point of view.
I know that the mind may not be reliable as you say, but I choose not to dwell on that. Christians seem to think if they point out the possibility that everything might just be my mind being out of whack, that maybe I'll spiral into loony toons crazy and start praising Jesus or something. I simply don't see the point in questioning if what I'm perceiving is reality or not, if it is then everything is peachy and if it's not then how would I know any better?
Micah use to post in this section every now and again and I enjoyed his brand of holy-os cereal. I personally love it when the preachers call out someone while they are walking by, the worst was definitely brother Jed. That dude is crazy, he pointed at one girl walking by in a mini skirt and called her a whore, or asked why she dressed like one. He also tried convincing my girlfriend at the time to break up with me because she was Christian and I wasn't. Nice guy.

Jed's not so bad once you get him one-on-one. Honestly, the only open air preacher I've had a serious issue with after talking to them one-on-one is Cope.
Cope... well let's just say he doesn't necessarily even have the support of his fellow preachers a lot of the time...

I didn't say I dislike Jed, he's just pretty crazy. Never met Cope.

Hello Molly and Kureji!
Sorry I have not posted. I just saw Molly's PM to me and responded.
I have taken at least a temporary break from preaching full time on the college campuses due to some nagging injuries. Time and rest from the strain of open air preaching.
I am currently pastoring a small church down in Florida.
I will greatly miss being in Ohio this spring, miss preaching at Ohio University, and will miss seeing Molly again.
Since I have not been preaching on the campuses I have not had much reason to use the computer.
Kureji is an interesting and humorous character. I think I would enjoy encountering him on the campus and preaching at his university.

I have not been on this board in a while, but see the more things change the more they remain the same.
Who is Cope?
Kureji, the meter is running, repent.
Gloria a Jesus!
