I believe it is good to preach the just condemnation of iniquity to show the necessity of the cross. If I may, I'd like to ask Jesse (and others can also give their thoughts) what your opinion is on scriptures such as 2 Timothy 2:23-26 (and others like Titus 3:2, Ephesians 4:1-2, Galatians 6:1 etc.) and "gentleness". Do you think you show the same gentleness as Christ in your preaching? Jesus is "gentle and lowly in heart" (Mat 11:29) and Paul pleads with the Corinthians "by the meekness and gentleness of Christ" (2Co 13:7). Paul seems to contrast 'coming with a rod' with 'coming in love and a spirit of gentleness' in 1 Corinthians 4:21.
I also noticed in your videos that many people ask why you're not preaching the good news and God's love. Even Christians are asking you to preach what Jesus did, even though you had already said so in your preaching. Do you think this is a sign that the message of the cross is not getting through clearly enough or not given enough attention?
Thank you for reading and thanks in advance for any response.
God bless,
Mark
