6th August, 2006Tonight we had Bro Genesis come on the show. Bro Genesis is leaving to go to Japan next Monday to teach school students english for a year. He will also be planning to do some evangelism work over there as well. Please pray for him! The studio is opposite a football field and skatepark. When we arrived I noticed some youth skating. We usually play a pre-recorded sermon to start the show off so I played that and went over to the skatepark. I was able to witness to a young man (Danny) who was putting off salvation. I tried to urge him to get right with God today because he isn't assured of tomorrow. He was willing to take his chances. I was however able to leave a tract with him which he gladly took. Pray for Danny too! Overall it was a great night. Praise be to God! Bro Genesis in the studio

13th August, 2006
Tonight we had so much to discuss in such a short amount of time. We started off discussing the events which took place at our outreach on Friday night (see open air preaching thread).
We introduced a new section called the 'Apostasy Corner'. We discussed the unbiblical methods of Bill Hybels and his church.
We finished the night up by continuing our study on what is happening in the Middle-East.

20th August, 2006Tonight we offended too many people We had about 7 phone calls (our most so far). We discussed the use of the 'Sinner's Prayer' and RBC ministry (particularly the Daily Bread devotion). Our listeners did not like us talking out against RBC ministry. We tried something different tonight. We had a testimony from someone so we put him on speaker phone and placed it next to the guest's microphone. This was our first experience of 'talk back'. It was awesome. We are expecting major changes to our show in the coming weeks. Next Monday will be the AGM meeting and we could either have more air time during the week or lose our show completely. If you could please be in pray. Thanks.

27th August, 2006Tonight I interviewd my future Pastor. Bro Waycaster (a missionary from the USA) will be starting his church this Sunday. We are planning to join and help him out. He has an awesome testimony which he described to our listeners. He had an opportunity to play pro football but turned it down to go to bible college. Rick Warren's 'rap' video was discussed as part of our Apostasy Corner. We had the AGM meeting on Monday and a whole new board were elected. Our show is still able to go on air for the next few weeks then the board will asess all shows. Pastor Rodney Waycaster - Pleasant View Baptist Church Caleb - it's hard being a radio announcer

We had a tough night on Sunday! A drunk rang us up and abused us and a catholic said he was going to sue us!
