The Bible tell sme in the Book of Revelation that God will stir up the kings of the earth and use them like puppets do accomplish His Will. You can bring up all of the Clinton's and perverts you want; that doesn't change the fact that God IS the One who placed Clinton in office.... why would He? Clinton was the mirror used by God to reveal to the American people who they, as a nation, were. Perverts. Liars. Adulterers. God sets man up and tears man down. Your opinion doesn't matter in the Cout of Heaven. Only God's Truth, Justice and Mercy will reign on that Day. I'm glad that Canadians are so much better people than Americans. So I suppose under your method of thinking, god killed (yes god did the killing since god elected Hitler) 9 to 11 million people. Yeah, god sounds like a wonderfully chipper person.

I don't like Bush. I didn't vote for Kerry because of his abortion stance, but I couldn't vote for Bush. George Bush is a liar (documented), a cheater (documented), and a man who surrounds himself with greedy people like Richard Cheney (whose company manipulated the tax system). He claims that he's a man of God, but ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS. Bush claims that he was against stem cell research but now claims that he supports "certain kinds." He gets caught in lies all the time. He may act like a Christian, but I read a great quote once that I NEVER forgot: Going to church does not make someone a Christian any more than going to McDonalds makes them a hamburger.
Some of you who say that tapping phones and spying is for a greater good--look to the founding fathers. What do THEY say on the subject?
They say that no one should ever trust their government completely, because trust can be ABUSED.
They say that those who would surrender freedom for temporal safety deserve neither freedom nor safety. If you are willing to give a power like the government your freedom, how do you know they will give it BACK? They are more powerful than you--you can't hurt them.
