Frankly, the fact that you had that urge to kiss him back shows to me that you haven't been saved. We all have temptations but "wanting" something and being tempted are the same.
Dump him before he pulls you down to heck and you die poor, strung out ond drugs, and probably with a bunch of fatherless babies.

No, I think most of the men here will agree with me on this. That pre-marital kissing is a sin and is no worse than fornication. It is literally just sex with your lips and occasionally your toungue. No one wants to buy a car with 100000000000 miles on it and no one will want to marry a fornicating whore with 10000000000 STD's and the sin of lust on her soul.
He maybe your BF (but I think you should dump him) but the fact that he tried to induce you into sin, should show you that he doesn't really love you and instead just wants to spill his ungodly seed in an ungodly way.

Hi Sarah, I would definately find a new boyfriend.Find an example of a nice christian man and don't settle for anything less.I used to say if I ever got married I want to be married to someone like David Wilkerson. There aren't very many christian guys out there like that but your better off waiting for the right one even if you have to wait awhile. He's not the kind of boyfriend you want if he is self centered. Also men for the most part do not change.Men have a very hard time saying they are wrong about most everything so what you see is what you get.Don't ever think that they will change because they don't.They change some but it takes a really long time.

Rebecca, thank you for saying that.
I'm a man, obviously look at my posts LOL! stubborn and I won't sway for anyone, and I agree heartily.
Men are like statues, we don't weather easily. We are confidant and (if Christian) true. You get what you see.
If I may offer a counter on women. I see women (well CHRISTian) women as being humble, meek, and fertile. God blessed men with strength (of mind and body) and women with strength of heart and soul. By societal standards, Women are the weaker and fairer of the sexes. Of course they are still our equals in God, of course, but Men are the dominant members of the relationship. A warning to men though, women are not strong in mind nor body. They lust, and do soe silently which is much more sinful than men. Trust not women, unlike men, what you see isn't always what you get and rarely is it even close. Women are temptresses, until they are saved in Jesus and find the true meaning of passion and romance in God's finger.

Hi, my daughter Hannah is in the eighth grade. What I would tell my daughter is if your boyfriend cannot respect your convictions about not kissing than I would tell her to find another boyfriend. Most young boys are still very immature.Like I was saying, find an example of a nice godly christian man and look for that kind of character in your boyfriend or husband (when you get a little older).Im sure you will find a nice young man in your church that maybe has the same convictions as you do.I don't think I would let my daughter date.

Lets not isolate individual actions by calling them sin but rather look at our heart intentions against what is pure and holy. A kiss is not a sin in-and-of itself. An intention to gain/give sexual gratification outside of marriage is a sin. So are we kissing a boyfriend as a friendly kiss (such as the innocent peck on the cheek) or mack-daddy'n? (my lame attempt to give imagery of sloppy sexual kissing)
I personally think 16 is too young to be dating because if one dates, it should be with the intention of marrying the person. I don't believe loose dating for selfish pleasure is a holy act. But this is between you and GOD and He will hold you accountable according to what He's revealed to you. And it sounds as if He's convicting you on this issue so take heed and pray for His guidance.
Blessings

yeah rebecca boys can b realy immature. there r a lot of boyz at our church and sum of them are so WEIRD. but i only hang out with the boys in our church cuz i dont want the others to make me sin and stuff. lol grant im 14 not 16. thats my sis. so like....im kinda confused. we're not alowed to date if we arent sure that we're gunna marry that person? but how do we kno if we wanna marry them if we dont go out with them? also im kinda scared that if i dont go out w/ any boyz b4 i am ready 2 get married then when i get older i will not know how 2 go out w/ them and stuff. wut if no 1 will want 2 go out w/ me by then cuz they will all have practice at it and i wont!!!! oh and when is a gud time 2 get married? oh yeah and i dont kno the diff btwn those kinds of kissing u were talking about grant ive never been kissed LOL.

I read this book once and I wish I could remember the name of it.It was written by a christian woman of course LOL!!! She said that women are like butterflies and men are like buffallos.Women just flutter carefully through the feilds and men like the buffalo just come plowing right through mowing everything over in their path LOL!!! It's not really a bad thing its just the way they are programmed. They can only think about one thing--- MAYBE two things at once if your really lucky LOL!!!

Who would you rather we follow YOU?! I don't need these heathen rat trap on my lawn.
Jesus wasn't sexist, but women have their place as do men. I mean I don't want to offend any of you Femiacists, but look it up. Women belong to their husbands. Oh no I said it.
Women are not like cattle though, not like that kind of belong. But they should be obediant, and servile. Satan loves uppity women, but GOD LOVES a woman to be down on her knees.
Speak before you think Morluna, it would do you well.

Jojo, Don't be in a big hurry to be dating.I really don't believe in dating. When I met my husband it was with a church group and we were out camping. Our first date together if you want to call it that was playing tennis together, going to church and hanging out at our parents house. The majority of the time we spent studying the bible together.Just before we got engaged and became more serious about each other we went out to dinner alot and we used to hang out at the christian drive thru movie theatre. We also used to hang out with ther christian couples. If you ever do "date" if you want to call it that you should make sure that you are not alone together because it's a strong temptation for guys if you know what I mean.
Are your parents christians and what do they tell you?

I find your lack of faith disturbing, rebecca. I think you should believe more in the power of God in Christian men. I know I haven't lusted after a woman since I was saved back when I was 6. I find it almost offensive, and yes sexist that you would lump a good Christian man into the same category as lustful engorged steeds of satan.

I'm not trying to flame anyone.
