Correction , sir. You seem to lack the proper judgement/intelligence to decipher between the possesive word, "your", and the contraction of "you're" meaning you are, a state of being. Although they are homonyms, someone as "intelligent" and "well-learned" as yourself should be able to realize the clear distinction between the two.
I should point out the lack of an "e" in the former word, while the latter word has an "e" stuck at the end, and an apostrophe seperating the two words that form the contraction, you and are.

You spelled judgment, possessive, and separating wrong. I guess we all have our grammatical faults and we should be gracious toward one another and not make quick judgments about a persons intellect by the way that they type?

Sorry, ejuliot, but it is very easy to spell an irregular word wrong. Following the rules of English, it is logical to spell argument as arguement. Argument should be pronounced "argooment." It is also easy to make typos. For instance, when I thpe that word, the "y" and the "h" are adjacent on the keyboard and it it obvious that I just hit the wrong key. It is also easy, to reread your posts before you post them or even afterward seeing as how we have a "modify" button.
However, several people have mentioned the misuse of your/you're. I don't mention it because I have no other grounds of criticism, but because it makes it difficult to understand what he is saying.
The other thing is that it is a natural reaction for humans to judge intelligence based upon speech. Southerners, like myself, are typically judged to be less intelligent because we speak more slowly. If I type in a manner that suggests I wouldn't be able to pass an elementary school spelling test, perhaps my intelligence is not at a level that would allow me to pass elementary school. This is not just a writing sample ejuliot, this is thought expressed to someone else. That is why I am so maticulous in checking my posts before releasing them to the world. These are my thoughts, not just words. If I can't express my thoughts to someone else, what does that say about my ability to adequately express them to myself?
You should be more careful because you are representing yourself to the world.
Now, bibleburner has been corrected. Criticise him again once he misspells those words a second time. I garauntee you that Pacp will misuse your/you're again tomorrow. I beg you, Pacp, prove me incorrect.
Oh, and not to be techincal ejuliot, but since you are making a grammar judgment, I should inform you that wrong is an adjective. "Spelled" is a verb, therefore to modify it you must use an adverb. You should have used the word "incorrectly" in place of the word "wrong."
I don't make these criticisms often, nor do I do them in jest. I do them so that in the future you will appear more intelligent. Just like in Back to the Future, Biff keeps messing up jokes, like "screen door on a battleship." The correction of older Biff to "screen door on a submarine" makes Biff look less like an idiot.
So take this advice in a good way, not a bad way.

The correction of older Biff to "screen door on a submarine" makes Biff look less like an idiot. So take this advice in a good way, not a bad way. You entirely missed my point. Maybe it was my wrong use of adjectives...There was a boy who came on the message board a few months back who spelled like a 6th grader but he was an engineering major at a large university. You see, it would be easy to judge him as unintelligent but the truth is that he was an engineering major, not an English major. I think it is very mean when debating an issue to resolve to attacking a persons grammar and spelling when the topic at hand is not related to English. I am sure there is some spiffy debate term for it but the only term I can think of is "low blow." My point in posting was to point out that boy's (I still don't know his real name) hypocrisy and hopefully stop the "low blows." I now realize that my attempt was not as successful as I hoped. So I will try to explain myself in clear English, quite the "low blows!" Debate the Flying Spaghetti Monster but don't make fun of a persons ability to spell your and you're because they could be a lot more intelligent than you actually realize. After all not everyone is privileged enough to be an English major. That is all.

Ejuliot, again I am not attacking anyone. I am attempting to help. Perhaps I should tell you that I am not an english major, but I am at an engineering university. Once again, you are not seeing my words, you are seeing my mind. I am not going to display it at any less than it's best appearance, otherwise you could much more easily discredit my thinking. I only want to improve your grammar for your own sake. Trust me, I get no gratification from dumping on someone with less than a mastery of the English language. I cannot speak for others, however. I intended no offense, but I stand by my corrections.

There is a difference from sin and not being perfect. I think that with the "progressive" crowd, that you look at your selves as Gods and judge everyone by a kind of moral relativism. What you think is relevant. Or who you think are worthy or enlightened. Certainly unborn babies...politically incorrect people..Christians. They are all useless eaters and such to you all. My view is perceptial....this is a true story: A preacher preached at a state college. There were many college kids there and from what I hear he preached the holy fire out of them. After the preaching many beautiful young college girls came up to the altar and gave their entire lives to Christ. Many young athletic men...repented and gave their young lives to Christ also. Near the end the preacher looked up and saw a student with cerebral palsy come stumbling down the aisle. He had a hard time getting to the preacher. But he put out his hand and held on to the preacher's arm. He said...all you said about Jesus using my life..can he use me. Can He really make use of my life? The preached said, son He's been waiting for someone just like you. Its not about who we think we are. Who do you think gave your abilities?

There's this story, I'm pretty sure it's true, I mean, how else do you explain the Biblical prophecy?
A preacher preached at a legislative hall. There were many legislators there and from what I hear he preached the holy fire out of them. After the preaching many young and old conservative representatives came up to the altar and gave their entire lives to Christ. Even many younger and older liberal men...repented and gave their lives to Christ also. Near the end the preacher looked up and saw a diminuitive leader with thinning hair and a cropped mustache come stumbling down the aisle. He had a hard time getting to the preacher. But he put out his hand and held on to the preacher's arm. He said...all you said about Jesus using my life..can he use me. Can He really make use of my life? The preached said, son He's been waiting for someone just like you.
The leader's life was changed from that day out. He knew that God was going to use him for something good, something righteous, something holy. One day God spoke to him, and he had his "final solution," or as he called it the Endlösung. He seized power and eventually purged God's world of the unclean disbelievers. He was an instrument of God's divine wrath. All these years later, this man, the charismatic, young Reichskanzler of Germany is still misunderstood; he is villianized by left leaning Christians who have come under the influence of the Jewish conspiracy to destroy the legacy of Jesus, even 2000 years later.
But I know the truth. I have found the prophecy in the Bible.
Romans 13:1: Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except taht which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebnelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. BNut if you do wrong, ne afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorites, no only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
Furthermore, God has declared his wrath upon these people: Matthew 27:25: "All the people answered, 'Let his blood be upon us and on our children!'"
Since I see the truth in this story, and in yours, I know that Jesus might use me for some purpose too.

what justice is there in destroying an entire civilization because they do not worship the same god? hitler professed to be doing god's will, yet christians rebuke him. however, jews slaughtered millions--if the book is infallible as christians claim--in the old testament 'in the name of god.'
what is the difference, and why do christians excuse it?

I'm really tired of that. Can't you prove god to me, instead of trying to make me convert out of fear?
Also, why is your religion right, and the thousands of others out there, wrong? Why is it that worshipping Huitzilopoctli is not the path to divine saving blah blah blah? How do you know that Huitzilopoctli is not the path to redemption? That's right, you don't. Hare Krishna.

Sequin, you're not a Christian anymore than a pig is a poodle. FALSE CONVERT! Biblethumper you have it all wrong. First off, I'm sorry about your daughter. Secondly this verse is taken well out of cont ex. Look a few years ago I had lived in town. Since then we have moved to the country. During that time there was a pedophile that lived across the street from us. There were always stories about him assaulting kids. Well I kept mine away as anyone would. One day he walked over to my yard and said something about having my son over to his house. Well I closed our gate and got right in his face. I told him that if he ever talked to any of my kids, or ever came around my house that he would wind up "dead". Yes I swore and scared the living daylights out of him. The whole time we lived there every time I came home he would run inside. He left all the kids alone..I told him that if I ever heard that he touched any kind in the neighborhood that..basically he would be killed. One year after we moved he was arrested for raping a 12 year old boy. You may think that we have to, at all times be nicer than Jesus and that is what I get from you posts. But I disagree. Whether on not I would have actually killed this person is not the issue. Your calling her a false convert while there is sin in your life is not to your benefit. You have been devorced..you look like the world...you appear very immature to me. Grow up....you know nothing about Daisy. And you have a very lousy track record to boot.
