I wanted to update all of you concerning my arrest for 'Disorderly Conduct' last March at a gay shame parade in Florida.
A Palm Beach County Sheriff SGT. was a bit too trigger happy the day we showed up to preach to the sodomites in Lake Worth, FL. He said I could stand and hold my sign, but if I said another word, I would be arrested.
Needless to say, I continued to preach, and I was unlawfully apprehended, handcuffed, and booked into the county jail for about 10 hours.
Not fun, but I had a captive audience!
After posting bond, I was released and given a court date. Through much prayer and careful consideration, I retained council and provided him with written testimony and video evidence of my innocence and the lawbreaking SGT. and his cohorts.
After 4 different prosecutor changes, a motion to dismiss was filed and the State's Attorney agreed to nolle prosse the charge.
Praise God for His excellent greatness! This is a huge testimony of His faithfulness to those who fear Him.
This is just the beginning, as my council will now seek to regain the ground taken by the unlawful actions of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. There are annual events in this area that are worth preaching, especially for the local Bible Believer Chapters.
So please pray that we have favor in court as we seek to re-establish what is rightfully ours as Christians, and as Americans:
The right to preach the gospel publicly to every creature, without fear of retribution or retaliation! Public preaching is a biblical mandate, and a God given right.
We must continue to watch and pray and preach and endure hardness, as we move towards the glorious return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ our Lord!
Serving Him Faithfully,
Brother JK

This case is up for a final pre-trial hearing on 9/18/09.
My defense lawyer is going to file a motion for dismissal. Please pray that the State or the Judge drops the charge.
Thanks again everyone!

We are still waiting to go to trial, or for the State to drop the charge.
Thanks for asking.

I found this article by chance. newsies.gainesville.com/default.asp?item=2354842------------------------------------------- Preaching on the Plaza
By Brianti Downing, Newsies Contributing Writer'Do you have sex?' asks a male student in the crowd. The question is directed at a man wearing a khaki hat, a tan and white checkered collar shirt and khaki pants. The man holds a small black book with the words 'Holy Bible' painted on either side and a large, yellow banner that says, 'Repent or perish. You must be born again and sin no more.' The man, encircled by about 200 University of Florida students, smiles and sticks out his left ring finger, showing the students his wedding band. 'Thaaaat's the beauty of marrrriage.' he says, drawing out his words. 'And you don't need a condom.' 'Do you have sex for procreation or for pleasure?' someone else asks. 'That's none of your bea-boody-bop-bop business' he replies, puckering his lips out like a fish with every word. The man is known as Preacher JK. The 43-year-old minister stands in Turlington Plaza for three hours at a time, shouting his sermons. He is reminiscent of a bull dog, barking the Gospel at the students with strength and ferocity, while his wife, Evangelista, tapes the scene on her camcorder. For security reasons, JK goes by his initials, while his wife uses her middle name. The ferocity for Jesus that JK brings to the plaza hasn't always been with him. His life has taken him from one extreme to the next. During his teenage years and through must of his twenties JK says he was a living his life terribly. He was on drugs and even though he had realized in his teen years that he was supposed to accept Jesus as his savior, he had chosen not to. When he was 30, he decided to accept Jesus into his life and be as zealous a Christian as he was a sinner during his youth. Until two years ago, JK and Evangelista resided in Miami, Fla. JK worked as a Special Projects Coordinator in the field of Weathering Research and Development and was a minister at a local church. His wife worked as an administrative assistant. Their life changed when they received a call. '-The Lord Jesus Christ called us out of our slumber and commanded us to 'sell all that you have, give to the poor and take up your cross and follow me,'' JK says. That's just what they did. They quit their jobs, sold their home and gave away or sold most of their possessions to create Bema Ministries. Bema Ministries consists of Preacher JK and Evangelista traveling all over the country, living out of their truck and R.V., in an effort to spread the Gospel. The minister's attempt to live biblically has caused him to become two men: Preacher JK and JK. Preacher JK is loud and ferocious. He seems powerful and strong. His age could be anywhere from 35 to 47. Preacher JK is always right, even when he is wrong. He knows the scripture like the palm of his hand. His beliefs are thought to be radical and he will tell you go home and look in your bible for an answer before explaining himself. JK, on the other hand, is very soft-spoken. He speaks in a low, soothing voice, like a grandfather would to his grandchildren when telling them a bedtime story. The long lines on either side of his cheek along with his gray and white hair are more noticeable, giving a better perception of his age. He smiles at everyone, including those who were unkind to him during his preaching. JK's contrasting behavior is a result of how the people he is surrounded by act toward him. When the students yell at him, he yells back. When they speak to him calmly, he speaks back calmly. No matter which person he is at the time, JK's beliefs do not change. Whether he is yelling them in the plaza or explaining them softly to an inquiring student, he is the same fervent Christian at all times. JK's unpopularity with the students comes from his lack of solid explanations when he is Preacher JK. Preacher JK will tell the students to go home and look in their bibles or go off on a tangent about Barack Obama having sex with Michelle Obama, but JK will give an explanation for his beliefs more readily. On Jan. 21, a photo of Preacher JK was featured in The Independent Florida Alligator. It depicted two students, one holding a sign with an arrow pointing to Preacher JK that read 'Richard Simmons #1 Fan,' and another student sticking up his middle finger at the minister. At the time, JK was holding a sign that read 'Homo Sex is a Threat to National Security.' JK says the sign was made by a friend of his and it coincides with Genesis 19. In Genesis 19, burning sulfur kills everyone in Sodom and Gomorrah after the men in the city try to have sex with angels visiting the city who they mistake for regular men. JK believes homosexuality is a threat to our national security because God could also strike down America for our homosexual tolerance. On the subject, JK likes to reference Billy Graham, who said God owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology if he does not judge America for its homosexuality. 'God will not have to apologize to anyone on judgment day,' JK says. Even though two or three students will express their appreciation to JK for his preaching, he is aware that many of the students do not agree with what he saying, but he is not going to give up. 'We are believing for mass conviction, repentance and genuine conversions, but are not dismayed when it does not come to fruition,' he said. 'A day that the Gospel is preached and sinners are convicted, well, that is a good day.'

We had a customized tract printed up when we were in CA last summer. That and some business cards with our contact information on one side, and a tract on the other.
They are very basic, and clearly not anything like Living Waters or Chick.
We may need some more soon, maybe for the Fall semester.
We actually try and give them out more now, but for a few years our tract distribution really tapered off dramatically from when we first started preaching open air.

The site most likely isn't being blocked by the libraries or Georgia or anything like that. That's just not their style. Without knowing what message you're getting, it sounds like someone using libraries down there to get on this site got banned. Jesse might've had a bit too much fun with IP ranges and banned a few counties to make sure he went. Not entirely effective, but sometimes it works. Sorry, the admin functions within Proboards only allows the blocking of individual IP addresses and registered usernames. The filters on the library's servers are banning this board because of content within the threads.

Evangelista and I are currently in Tampa, FL ministering at local campuses and events. We would like to share our latest and newest style newsletter with you, to help catch up with us concerning all of our preaching campaigns. You can view the newsletter, some recent photos, and our February schedule on our website by clicking any of the following links: www.bemaministries.com/html/newsletters.htmlwww.bemaministries.com/html/photo_gallery.htmlwww.bemaministries.com/html/events.htmlWe are seeing a great increase in conviction and openness to the power of the gospel. A recent outreach to Ybor City in Tampa was especially interesting. A young man listened intently to the preaching for about 30 minutes, as his friend heckled us relentlessly. He pulled me aside afterwards and asked me "How does God feel about backsliders?" I replied that the Lord desires them to return to Him, in humility and sincerity. He openly admitted to being in a backslidden state, and said "When you were preaching earlier, what you said really got to me....I need to get right with the Lord." As we stood eye to eye, I encouraged him with part of my personal testimony. I felt such a burden for him. His eyes misty and heavy with conviction, he promised to email me, as I gave him one of our infotracts to ponder. We are very covetous of your prayers, as we are fighting the enemy on the front lines day after day. We will continue to preach the power of the gospel, the power of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10) -- Preaching to every creature, JK and Evangelista

Lord Jesus love you, Brother Bullhorn and so do I. I pray for you to see the error of your ways. Which error? Give me something scriptural and specific. Anyone can bring accusations. I mean, the Bible is clear on this subject: Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5:19, 20) If I am in error, it is your job to convert me.

Typical response by someone who has no answers.
Deception is not evident to those who are deceived. Since you know the truth, and you say I am deceived, please tell me the truth and how I am deceived, so that I can be free.
You sound just like the "christian" students on campus that I preach to every day.
Check your heart, little girl. You are wrong, and your error could cost you eternity in hellfire.
Repent or Perish!

Do you want to be down there with Bullhorn Bob? (and I truly pray he sees the error of his ways. Lord take the blinder off this man,. Break and humble him. Ge is doing a disservice to the Lord every time he shoots off his mouth condemning sinners and fellow Christians alike. He is a pharisee. Humble him. Amen.) Alright fs, let's stop the accusations, and give me something specific and biblical. What have I done that would cause me to go to hell? I only rebuked you as is appropriate (Eph 5:11-13). Those who are in sin are already condemned. I cannot increase or decrease one's condemnation (John 3:18-21). Pharisees were a very strict and legalistic group of Jewish scholars, who lived out the most minute details of the law, but failed to be righteous before God. They actually elevated man's traditions above the law of God. I doubt the Pharisees would let me into their club. I actually obey God from a pure heart (I Tim 1:5). Also, again, God heareth not sinners (John 9:31) Now if you want to be vindictive and try to make me look bad just because I rebuked you biblically on another thread, just know that God says this: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Rom 12:19) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. (James 1:20) Jesus is watching you, fs. He keeps accurate records, fs. You will give an account, fs. What does fs stand for, anyways?

Yes, I AM going ro tell them. Get off tour self righteous high horse. I am in a better position than any of you to know what methods people I gave known will listen to and will not and what works for me. So now I am self-righteous because I tell you the truth (Gal.4:16)? There is a way that seems right to a man, but it only leads to death (Prov 14:12). I guess you know a better way than John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, Paul, and all of the other apostles. Get over yourself loud mouth. People like you are not going to win anyone over to Christ with statements like this. You are just reaching o put yourself over big. People will turn away rather than toward Christ because of statements like this and attitudes like yours. Get over yourself. What a hypocrite you are. You call me a loud mouth, then in the same breath condemn me for turning people away with my speech and having an improper attitude (Eph 4:29). I am crucified with Christ. I live by the faith of the Son of God (Gal 2:20). If you think the job of a Christian is to win people over with positive and unoffensive speech, then you have no clue who Jesus is. He called Jews children of the devil, a Gentile woman a dog, entire cities were condemned to hell; He even called that generation wicked, evil, and adulterous. Jesus came to bring a sword, not peace (Matt 10:34-39). Friendship with the world makes you God's enemy (James 4:4, I John 2:15-17). We are not supposed to try and be "nicer than Jesus." They hated Jesus for no reason, we should expect nothing less if we are genuinely disciples of Christ (John 15:18-25). You are sinless I suppose? What skeletons are in YOUR closet, loudmouth! Yes, I am sinless, thanks to Jesus Christ, the sinless sacrifice for sin (II Cor 5:21, I John 1:6-7, 2:1-6, 3:4-10, ). I am a new creature in Christ(II Cor 5:17, 7:1). I am free from the power of sin (John 8:34-36, Romans 6, 8:1-2, II Pet 1:3-4, James 1:2-8, I could go on). You should know this if you are a student of God's word (II Tim 2:15). Actually, my closet is a prayer closet (Matt 6:6). Thankfully YOU are not my pastor. Are toy even a pastor anywhere? Are you ordained anywhere? Have you had any training at all in human psychology or dealing with people or do you just fo iout and rave because voice in you rell tou to? Go join Phelps. Yes, if I was your pastor, you would have been taught sound biblical doctrine from the beginning. You would know your Bible if you sat underneath any of my teaching. I say that with all humility, but also with confidence. Your immaturity is glaringly evident in your posts. With that evidence, I would say your current pastor is doing a lousy job! Now I never bring this up, but since you did, I will tell you this much; I was a Rev in the AG for about 5 years. I had the suits, the pulpit was open to me, I stood up there with the pastors week after week. The religious system of today will never ever accomplish the will of God until they submit to Him, and stop trying to be religious, stop trying to build ministries, and start preaching the gospel to every creature like Christ commanded (Mk 16:15). Again, I guess you know a better way than John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, Paul, and all of the other apostles. None of these men had the formal training you mentioned, but just look at what they accomplished. And lastly, Fred and Shirley Phelps are hyper-calvinists. They would be much less merciful towards you than I am being, trust me. I would not consider them true Christians, but a cult. In the meantime I will pray for you as I am sure with a post like this you are not praying for me. I think maybe God will listen to my prayers right now better than yours. I will pay you become enlightened, lose your ego and become a true warrior for Christ. Yes, I have prayed for you fs. I would also mention that since you are still sinning by your own admission, God does not hear your prayers (John 9:31, I Pet 3:12). Your accusations are a direct result of your conviction. Your lashing out will not change anything. BUT, if you repent, and turn from your wickedness, then God can restore you. If you die in a state of lust, you will perish (Luke 13:1-5). May God break you as I was broken so you may be really used by HIM. You erroneously assume that I am unbroken before God. Sin breaks God's heart. I choose to obey Him, and remain tender and broken before Him. ------------------------------------------------- Now, I have asked you this question before, and you never replied. How old are you? To me, you seem very young and immature. I would guess you are between 16-22 years old. The reason I ask is because of the way you phrase your sentences in your posts. You come across as very juvenile. But hey, if you are 42 or 50 or something, well, you still need to be genuinely serving God. And a person who has admitted to the things that you have on this forum, along with numerous posts full of personal opinion and erroneous, unbiblical rhetoric, you cannot be living obedient to the faith. If your lifestyle contrasts the Bible, you are NOT a Christian. Period.

Wouldn't the Open view say that God knew it was possible for man to sin when He created man, but it was not His will that man should sin?
Does not the Open view support various possibilities?

Oh, yeah, sure fs.
You are in no position to instruct anyone concerning any type of ministry at this point.
You just came out of a homosexual affair, and you are going to tell the preacher how to do deal with homosexuals correctly?
When you tell someone the truth, you are doing it the right way.
Maybe you should go rebuke your girlfriend instead of the preacher?

Understood.
I was actually referring to "calvinist or open theist" in your post, not the two choices in the poll. I had a feeling I should have clarified my reply. But you did answer the question.
I do not claim to be an open theist, although I guess one would think I was if we talked theology for any period of time.
I am a Christian. I believe the Bible. I hate religious labels. Nothing personal, but I just hate the labels.
I John 3 identifies two types of people:
1 - Children of God 2 - Children of the devil
God's Kingdom will not be sectioned off into areas for one theological position or another.
One Kingdom - One God and Father - One Lord Jesus Christ- One Spirit - One Body
I very much appreciate your desire to teach sound biblical doctrine. You have done a terrific job thus far! Keep up the good work!
