ROAM USA/Miami Bible Believers Report for 04/18/07 This day’s outreach was at Florida Atlantic University, where our ambition was to break the silence on the “day of silence,” and to shout the gospel from the housetops! As usual, our faithful four of the Holy Ghost, Brother Doug, my lovely wife Evangelista, and I (JK) would be honored to minister on campus this bright and sunny day.
We arrived at approx. 11am, and made our way to the free speech area. I am very grateful for Micah’s help and Bro. Doug, who has been on this campus before as well. When we arrived, I quickly hoisted our banner, and Doug began to call out into the vast courtyard.
It took about three minutes to get an angry student in my face, cursing me out and calling me a hater. One of the campus police officers approached me and asked if we followed the protocol for free speech on campus, and I assured him that we did. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the police on this campus. They did not give us one single problem, and we had liberty all day (although we did have a problem with security at one point, but I quickly directed him to the Sgt. whom I spoke with at the onset).
Doug did a great job in presenting the true gospel. I know this man is being raised up to preach the message of repentance to an indifferent and rebellious generation. Doug succeeded in getting a small crowd initially, and was rewarded with a class break at 11:50. A large group formed to see what the big deal was. Christians began to immediately oppose us and say we needed to be more relational with the students. One student began to sing aloud “love is the answer,” and said we needed to be more accepting. I had some interesting one-on-one conversations, and soon the crowd began to wane down.
We had the opportunity to meet a gentleman today named Malcolm who had endeavored to come out and preach as well. He had a step stool and flip chart modeled after the Ray Comfort approach. I introduced myself and had a great conversation with him, and asked him if we could either preach in tandem or if one of us could move down a bit to another location so as not to overlap. He was very humble and agreed to cooperate as needed. I assured him he would get a chance to preach. Doug said later that he overheard Malcolm on his cell-phone explaining the sizes of the crowds we were getting, and that he sounded very enthusiastic and encouraged that he was not the only one there this particular day.
Evangelista and I both had a turn preaching, with moderate crowds of 15-50. I am delighted that my wife has desired to address the students in debate and biblical reasoning. She has definitely become polished in her preaching and teaching. All the weekends on South Beach have paid off, and she rarely complains or grows tired. I am blessed indeed.
Our debates covered a broad range of topics, from evolution to sexual sin, and from bible authenticity to judging. Our new friend Malcolm next had a chance to give his testimony and approached the VT subject (our team had agreed beforehand that it might be a good thing to avoid the topic), and it basically caused an eruption from the students, as I thought it might. Malcolm wound up losing his crowd because of a very vocal young man who basically found it his right and only his right to speak for the VT victims, and because we were not college students, we had no right to say anything at all, and so the crowd sided with him.
Malcolm struggled through a “moment of silence” invoked by the students, and I kind of remembered that weird feeling I had as a young lad flirting with witchcraft at a séance. It was that creepy, if you know what I mean. After this, the crowd basically filed out behind the young man, and Malcolm stated “I guess that’s that.” I encouraged him to continue preaching, and when he finished, he had gained a sizeable crowd and did a great job. His voice had pretty much given out, and he eventually bid us farewell.
Doug preached to a good sized crowd again for about 35 minutes and basically wound up having a great discussion with 3-5 students. I then finished off the day with some interesting preaching on the subject of creation, and refuted all of the evolutionist’s rhetoric, including; carbon dating, potassium argon dating, viral and sedimentary evidence, and more. Please note that I am not a scholar in this arena, but the Holy Spirit is. Evangelista mentioned at the end that she was blown away by how quickly I answered these arguments. I reminded her that it was not me, but the Spirit of God in me, that rewarded our obedience to preach with wisdom from above. PRAISE GOD!
I am very grateful for this experience and look forward to lifting the Sword of the Spirit here again next semester. Our preaching today was very fruitful, and hundreds of students were warned to REPENT OR PERISH.
Please pray for us as you remember to, and let us know what you think about our weekly outreaches via e-mail. May God Bless you.

ROAM USA/Miami Bible Believers Report for 04/14/07
Joining the team this week were Doug, JK and I (Evangelista). We arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:30 pm. We made our way down to Ocean Drive and we noticed a crowd by the bathrooms/showers, so we decided it would be a good idea to preach there. JK started us off and began to preach faith in Jesus Christ. As it usually happens when we preach, there were plenty of people who didn’t agree with the message. Undaunted, he continued to exhort the crowd to forsake their sin and turn to Jesus Christ and live according to His ways. JK preached for about 20 minutes. We then headed down by the coral wall near Wet Willies. An African American lady with a baby asked me what we were doing and if I could show her a scripture in the Bible regarding drinking alcohol. I showed her 1 Corinthians 6:9, which gives a list of people who do not inherit the Kingdom of God, of whom drunkards are one of them. I then began to preach and admonish the people to turn from sin and turn to Jesus Christ. I told them that just because people go to church does not make them a Christian. Being a Christian means to obey God, not just give Him lip service. I explained that hell is not a place where they would party with their famous deceased rap and rock ‘n roll stars, but that hell is a place of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of the teeth. I also had a few hecklers, specifically one young lady who claimed that I had no right to preach the way I did. I rebuked her rebellion towards God and warned her to turn to Jesus. I had a crowd of about 20-25 people who listened attentively to the message. I preached for about 30 minutes. Doug preached next on the coral wall and began to rebuke this same lady as she was very loud and opposed the preaching against sin. Doug admonished them to turn from their sin and turn to Jesus Christ. He had a crowd of about 35-40 people who listened. There was also another young lady with a child who kept yelling at Doug as he tried to preach to the crowd. While Doug preached, JK had some productive one on one conversations, one being with a gentleman who claimed that he was a Christian. He complained that we were doing it all wrong. After JK confronted him regarding certain issues, he sat down and begin to think about what JK was telling him. He came back about 20 minutes later stating that what we were doing was the right thing. Doug preached for about 30 minutes. JK preached next and eventually a crowd built up to approximately 100-120 people. JK preached that men should depart from sin and choose Jesus. A young man who opposed the preaching cussed at JK and also made a few perverted comments about JK’s mom. A few minutes later he mooned JK and then ran off with our step stool. A friend of his came up a few minutes later with the stool and gave it back to us. All the while, there were a handful of people encouraging us that we were doing a good job. We were also approached by a young man who stated that he used to open air preach, but that he had backslid, but was now serving the Lord once again. He encouraged us that we were also doing an excellent job. While JK preached, Doug had some very good conversations with people and others who wanted to take pictures of him with his banner. A few minutes later, a couple of guys approached JK and began to mock, ridicule, and create much dissension. They kept asking questions, and JK would answer them according to the Bible. They were very belligerent and would not take heed to God’s warning, but continued to mock and even tried to knock JK off of the step stool. At one point, the environment seemed to get very tense and one of the guys took JK’s bible and threw it in the air. The bible landed at Doug’s feet. Doug picked it up and JK quickly went over to retrieve his bible in order to continue preaching. As they followed JK around while he preached, JK tried to avoid them and yet still continued to preach to the large crowd of listeners. At one point, JK jumped on the coral wall and a teenager followed him back and forth as if wanting to assault JK. As it seemed it was approaching riotous condition, I quickly went over to JK and mentioned to him that I thought that he needed to stop preaching as there were no police officers in sight. At this point the crowd was swelling to 200 easily, and they seemed bloodthirsty. Within minutes after JK stopped preaching, one of the guys that opposed JK spit into another guys face and before you knew it, a fight broke out. JK quickly motioned for us to leave the area before it got out of hand. A number of police officers finally approached the scene and one of the officers hit my camera as he passed by us. JK wanted to continue preaching somewhere else along Ocean Drive, however, Doug and I felt it best to leave and call it a day. We left the beach at approximately 7:30 pm.

ROAM USA/Miami Bible Believers Report for 04/07/07 We arrived on South Beach at approximately 3:45 pm. Joining the team this week were Doug, Eileen, Ashley (both are Doug’s daughters), JK, and I (Evangelista). We parked our car and made our way down to Ocean Drive. Seeing large groups of people, we thought it would be a good idea to preach by the shower area as they came off the beach. Doug began to preach and exhort the crowd to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. He had a few hecklers who quickly began to defend their sin. Doug handled them well. He preached for approximately 15 minutes. We then decided to head over to the coral wall by Wet Willies. JK then began to preach and began to rebuke their wicked lifestyles. JK also clarified the real meaning of Easter to the folks, and he was able to gather a crowd of approximately 50-60 people. He also had a few hecklers, one being a fire fighter. There was also another gentleman who sat next to him who began asking some questions that JK was able to refute with the Bible. There were a couple of African-American women who began to clap and agree as they heard all of the biblical answers to the gentlemen. JK then continued to exhort the crowd to repent of sin and put faith in Jesus Christ. One of the ladies who agreed with his message asked for a Bible, which I handed to her, as she wanted to find a passage and was uncertain regarding something JK had said about judging. He quickly pointed out to the entire crowd regarding that particular question they had, and they were not able to disagree or come against what the Bible had to say from that point on. JK preached for approximately 45 minutes. I preached next and began to exhort the people to turn from sin and turn to Jesus Christ who is able to forgive and deliver them from sin and hell. I also had a few hecklers, one being wasted on acid, whom I at first thought was drunk. He kept coming close to me and acting silly. I continued to speak with the gentleman and exhorted him to turn from his sin. After some time, I had another heckler, a Rastafarian, who was there when JK originally preached, who began to talk very loudly so as to drown out my preaching. JK suggested that I move a few feet away, but that didn’t help. Seeing that the man continued to talk loudly toward the crowd in order for us not to make any headway with the people, JK then suggested we move altogether and preach across from Wet Willie’s instead. I believe it was the enemy using the man to drown out the truth of God’s Word. I preached for about 30 minutes. After some time, a gentleman approached me stating that we were doing a good job. While we preached, Eileen and Ashley were holding banners and witnessing to people. We are so grateful for their presence this day. JK then began to preach and encouraged the people to repent or perish. A small crowd formed as he was preaching and he began to answer some questions one gentleman had. JK exhorted him to repent and put faith in Jesus. He didn’t seem serious, but JK continued to warn him and told him that we would pray for him. At the end of his preaching, there was another young black man who seemed very discouraged about his life. JK encouraged him to turn to Jesus, who is the only One who is able to help him. We told him that we would pray for him as well. He was there for most of the preaching we had by the coral wall. There were also a couple of girls who seemed to have followed us from the coral wall to Wet Willie’s and continued to listen to the messages that were brought forth. They seemed genuinely convicted. We left at approximately 7:30 pm and decided to head over to Cracker Barrel for food and fellowship. Once there, we were approached by our waitress. We noticed that it took a long time. Then we were approached by another waitress who said that she would now be our waitress instead of the first one. Doug began to share Jesus with her, and she began to cry and stated that her dad was a Christian and that she knew what we were talking about. Doug then gave her a Bible. I believe that the Lord was trying to reach this lady. The first waitress approached us and said that she wanted her to have our table because she knew that we were Christians and would be able to talk with the lady. We also spoke with another young man from the restaurant who claimed to be a Christian and encouraged him as well.

ROAM USA / Miami Bible Believer’s Report for 3/31-4/1/07Saturday – 3/31 The Second Annual Exotica Conference (porno convention) was being held in Miami Beach this weekend. Knowing that this wicked event would be visiting our city again, we decided to preach there, just as we did last year. We arrived at the Miami Beach Convention Center at approximately 3:30 pm. Doug, Evangelista and I (JK) parked our car and made our way to the center. We set up our banners and Doug and I took turns preaching while Evangelista was on camera duty. After tag-team preaching for some time, we were approached by some Christians from the xxxchurch who were giving away bibles to those attending the event. They had set up a booth inside of the conference, and the bibles they were giving out read “Jesus loves porn stars.” Seeing this as blatantly unbiblical, we exhorted them to tell the people the whole truth, and not just tell them that Jesus loves them. They opposed us at first because of our stance against sin, but after talking to us for a while, they seemed to understand what we were trying to do ( ). Some of the people who were given these bibles approached us saying “see, Jesus loves porn.” What the church and Christians don’t realize is that most people are given a false image of Jesus. Telling people half the truth only creates false converts. Simply telling people that Jesus loves them is actually telling people that Jesus loves them in their sin and that they don’t have to change, because Jesus loves them no matter what they do. This is a lie and not the gospel. What people are being given these days is a false gospel of tolerance and unconditional love. When Jesus preached, he preached repentance AND forgiveness of sins. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness of sins. See the Bible for details. At one point, a film crew came out of the conference wanting to interview Doug. There was a porno star among us; however, we did not know that she was part of the set-up. They had told Doug they were kicked out because they agreed with what we were preaching. That ended up being a lie. Doug eventually uncovered their lies while the interview was transpiring. Doug still told the crew why we were there and why we preached the way we did. While Doug did the interview, I continued preaching God’s Word. At some point, while the interview was going on, Evangelista mentioned to me that something didn’t seem right. I quickly mentioned to Doug that he needed to be careful as we uncovered their plot to simply try to degrade us and make a big joke of the entire interview. A pure distraction tactic and a feeble attempt to pervert the preacher. We stayed there for about one hour and a half, and then decided to head over to Ocean Drive. Once arriving at our regular spot by Wet Willie’s, we noticed large crowds there and Evangelista began to preach and exhort the people to repent and put faith in Jesus Christ. Evangelista preached for about 25 minutes. Some young kids were doing gymnastic maneuvers to the congo player’s beat, and this drew a huge crowd of about +200. Doug seized the opportunity by preaching to the crowds as they dispersed. I took it one step further and rebuked the crowds with the truth-horn! We then made our way back to the convention center, where Doug and I, again, took turns preaching against the sins of pornography, fornication, lust, covetousness, perversion, and adultery of heart. We exhorted those attending and those involved with the pornography industry to repent of this wicked and vile lifestyle, and to put complete faith and total trust in Jesus Christ as their savior from sin and hellfire! We had many productive conversations with people coming out of the convention center as well, and we headed home around 7:00 pm. Sunday – 4/1 We decided to head over to the convention center again today for the conclusion of the Exotica Conference. We arrived at approximately 3:30 pm and immediately picked up where we had left off the day before. We all took turns preaching, and after a while, we realized that today would be much worse then the day before. At one point, we noticed a girl with at least 20 guys going to one side of the sidewalk outside the convention center. What they did next came to a shock to all three of us: They had actually began to film live pornographic acts right outside in broad daylight. Noticing this, I quickly went inside looking for a police officer. There were none to be found, even tough they had their cars parked outside of the conference. I returned to the sidewalk, and Doug was preaching and rebuking the crowd for the perversions they were doing outside for everyone to see. About 10 minutes later is when we noticed some police cars approaching the scene trying to find out what had transpired. These acts will soon be commonplace in public venues; mark my words. During our preaching, I had a great conversation with a Jewish “family.” It was a father and his girlfriend and his son and his girlfriend. How a father can take his son to a porno convention is beyond me. Both couples admitted to fornication, so I began to explain to them the Law, the Prophets, and Jesus Christ. Even though the son made fun of just about everything I was saying, and was asking silly questions just to mock, the father seemed very sincere and asked many great questions. Towards the end of the conversation, the father seemed stunned as I was able to answer and refute all of his arguments from the Bible. There was also a young, black man who continued to heckle us, and while Evangelista preached, she was able to refute all of his excuses and his rebellion against God. He claimed to be a pastor’s kid. Seeing that he openly admitted this, I know the Lord was trying to reach that young man, but he was not willing to surrender to Jesus and would rather burn in his lust and risk his soul landing in eternal hellfire. Evangelista preached for about 30 minutes and thoroughly rebuked the filthy perversion taking place inside and outside of this event. I am very blessed to have a woman of such virtue and passion for the Lord. Her preaching has always been fiery and full of Holy Ghost conviction power, and today was no different! After Evangelista finished preaching, Doug took over. Doug has obviously made a stand to vehemently oppose these types of condoned and publicly sanctioned events. He was very angry at the corruption and apathy that would allow this type of event into this city. God is also angry with the wicked every day (Psalm 7:11). After some time, the young black man returned, and this time he brought some porno CD’s and laid them out for us. At that point, I was outraged. I placed the CD’s on top of one another and crushed them under my foot, as I told them “this is what God thinks of porn.” Another sickening sight: The police officer assigned to monitor the event actually loaded the back of his patrol car with bags full of porn at the end of the evening. As we left this event, we prayed for the people to be convicted by the Word of God, and that people would be delivered from this terrible bondage to promiscuous sin! PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR OTREACH EVERY WEEK ON SOUTH BEACH

ROAM USA / Miami Bible Believer’s Report for 3/24/07 Doug, Evangelista and I (JK) joined this week’s outreach. We arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:00 pm. We parked our car and, as it began to rain, we waited for it to slow down, and then proceeded to make our way to Ocean Drive.
Evangelista and I went by the public restrooms and preached to those outside. There was a gentleman who asked Evangelista for a bible. We had some bibles in the car, so Evangelista told him that we would come back in a few hours and give him a bible.
We decided to go by Wet Willie’s and check out the area, seeing it was a rainy day. We saw the officer that really enjoys our preaching and I shook his hand and told him how grateful we were for him upholding the law and defending our rights.
We decided to go to our usual spot along the coral wall, and I began to lift up my voice, preaching repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ. There weren’t too many people along the coral wall, but I preached for about 30-45 minutes anyhow.
We then decided to move down by the Versace mansion. Along the way, a young man remembered us from Georgia Tech University, as we preached there last year during the SOAPA conference. Also, we met a few rastafarians who were promoting their music and selling CD’s. I began to engage one of the young men about God, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the Bible. He was very receptive to what I was sharing with him, to the point where his friends began discouraging him from listening to me. He in turn told them to stop distracting him, and that he wanted to listen to everything I was telling him. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to be a witness for Him. He was in no way disrespectful, and thanked me for speaking with him.
We arrived at the Versace Mansion, and Doug began to preach. He did an excellent job and as always, is very passionate when he preaches. Doug had a few hecklers; however, he was able to refute all of their excuses. He preached for about 35-40 minutes. Doug has begun to really expand his message along a much broader range of Biblical subjects. We are very privileged to work with this sacrificial brother week in and week out. Evangelista then preached and had a few hecklers. One gentleman approached her and began to record/film her on his cell phone. Evangelista asked him a few questions, however, he did not want to respond, but neither was he rude. He eventually left. Evangelista continued to warn those passing by to repent and put faith in Jesus Christ. She also preached on II Timothy 3:1-5. There were some who stood on the opposite side of the road and listened intently to the preaching. Evangelista preached for about 30 minutes, when it began to rain again. We decided to head back to the car and call it a day. I remembered that we needed to stop by Ocean Drive in order to give away the bible we had promised to the gentleman. I stopped so Evangelista could go and finish the job, while I preached to those passing by. We headed back home at approximately 7PM.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR OUTREACH TO SOUTH BEACH EVERY WEEKEND!

ROAM USA Miami Bible Believers Report 03-17-07
Evangelista and I (JK) arrived on South Beach at approximately 3:30 PM. Today’s weather was sunny and mild, in the low 80’s; a perfect day to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Doug and his family were in Savannah this weekend for the big St. Patrick’s Day parade.
We made our way to Ocean Drive and began walking towards the coral wall. A homeless man approached us and made remarks regarding our t-shirts. He said he would like to have one of them because of what it said: Abortion is Murder; Homo Sex is Sin (including scripture references). He told us a little bit about himself and we prayed for him. He really appreciated that we were out there taking a stand for Jesus.
We continued to head towards our usual preaching spot when I noticed a couple of people up ahead. One man had a shirt that read “Jesus Saves from Sin.” I mentioned to Evangelista that they must be street preachers as well. We approached them and introduced ourselves. Come to find out, it was a husband and wife team from Bible Believers Dallas/Ft. Worth. We noticed that they had a bullhorn and a banner, so I filled them in on the preaching policy out at the beach, said our goodbyes and headed towards our spot.
Across from Wet Willie’s, I began to lift up my voice and warn the wicked that their lifestyle would get them cast into hellfire. I mentioned that drunkenness, fornication, revelry, and rebellion against God would get them into big trouble on Judgment Day. As it was Spring Break, there were large crowds of approximately 100-200 listening to the preaching of God’s Word. I exhorted them to repent and depart from that lifestyle. I also refuted the hecklers that said “Christians sin everyday, we’re all born sinners, we can’t stop sinning”, etc., etc. One by one, the hecklers hurled questions and I quickly responded with scripture and clear biblical teaching. None of them seemed to be able to justify their position, but continued to argue based only on their opinions. It all really boils down to this one thing: People love sin more than they love God. (I did have one young man named Angel ask me some sincere questions at one point, I might add)
I have to give credit where credit is due. Officer King from the Miami Beach PD deserves a great big God bless you, as he has been very supportive of all of our efforts on the beach over the years. I had a young man walk up to me today and snatch the cord of my truth-horn, damaging it, all this while spouting profanities and threatening me at the same time. I called out to this officer as I realized it might get a little rough, and he and his partner immediately removed the young man. Eventually the officer made the guy come back and apologize to me. I accepted it, and took the opportunity as a springboard for my next sermon. I preached for about 60 minutes.
Evangelista then preached and exhorted all to repent and put faith in Jesus Christ. Evangelista told them that God sent His only Son to die for them and told them that Jesus did everything. He died on the cross for their sin. Evangelista continued to admonish them that their lifestyle would get them thrown into hell, unless they repent and surrender to Jesus. There was a lady who continued to ask questions on how she could be born again. Evangelista explained biblical salvation to her. The lady mentioned that she was Catholic and Evangelista answered all of her questions regarding being saved from sin. There was another gentleman who approached Evangelista while she was preaching who stated that he was a good person, read his Bible and tried to be obedient. Evangelista asked him what church he attended. He said he attended a Baptist church, however, he claimed that he was not ready to be born-again. Evangelista told him that “today is the day of salvation” and that tomorrow might not come. He said he was not ready to get saved. Mind you, this is a young man, who claims he goes to a Christian church, yet is unsaved. Evangelista preached for about 30 minutes, and then continued to minister to the Catholic lady.
Brother Wesley joined us at about 5:00, and I asked him if he wanted to preach. I told him that I would warm up the crowd, and I preached for about 30 minutes before turning it over to him.
Wesley began to exhort the crowd to repent of sin and put faith in Jesus Christ. He also warned those listening that their lifestyle was not pleasing to God and that He would judge them one day. A few young ladies taunted and heckled him. He did a great job preaching to the Spring Breakers and did so for about 45 minutes.
During Wesley’s preach, I had a young man approach me and tell me his story. He seemed very sincere, and after hearing the preaching for about 30 minutes, he approached Evangelista and stated that he wanted to truly repent. She immediately informed me, and I asked him a few questions about repentance and contrition before God. He seemed to be battling with lust and some other sexual issues. He was near tears, and I encouraged him to pray. As he prayed, I noticed that the Holy Spirit was heavy on him, so I prayed over him and then encouraged him to stay in the word. He stuck with us until the end of the night.
Evangelista then took her turn preaching again. She again exhorted the crowd to repent, and made them aware of their lifestyle choices; that hell is not a place where they would party with their favorite singer, but that it is a place of weeping and wailing and gnashing of the teeth. She explained that it was not God’s will for them to go there, but that people are choosing to go there by the way they are living. Evangelista preached for about 25 minutes.
I then finished off the night exhorting the crowds to fear God and keep His commandments. This day was very fruitful for God’s kingdom, and I believe as we continue to plow and to sow and to water, God will soon begin to give the increase in it’s proper season.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR WEEKLY OUTREACH TO SOUTH BEACH!

ROAM USA / Miami Bible Believer’s Report for 3/10/07 and 3/11/07
Saturday, 3/10
Joining the outreach today were Doug, Evangelista and I. We arrived at the beach at approximately 4:30 pm. This is the Spring Break season, so we knew gathering a crowd would be simple.
We made our way to the coral wall by Wet Willies and I began to preach on the truth-horn. I warned the drunken college revelers to repent and forsake their sin. I continued to preach on sin, righteousness and judgment to come for about 30 minutes.
Evangelista then preached and also answered some questions. She also defined to the crowd what true love really is, as stated in I John 5:3; “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not grievous.” Also, in John 15:13, it says “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” She explained to a Jewish lady/heckler that we love people and that is why we come out and preach the gospel. Evangelista continued to exhort the crowd to repent and put faith in Jesus Christ for about 20 minutes.
Doug took his turning preaching as well as the crowds began filing in from the beach front. He had a few hecklers, but for the most part, preached unhindered until the police approached me and informed us that we would not be able to continue using our horn. I relayed the message to Doug and he continued to preach a strong message of repentance, warning of the consequences of sin. Doug preached for about 30 minutes.
I spent the rest of the afternoon preaching and teaching on biblical repentance, faith, and the believer’s responsibility to obey God. A young man named Travis, who used to preach with this team, showed up at the end and supported us. The crowd was somewhat unruly and consisted mostly of rebellious, half-drunk, college students. Some stared in disbelief; others screamed “You can’t judge! God loves me; we’re all sinners, etc, etc.” The team successfully refuted all of their arguments. A handful of people encouraged us to keep up the good work as well.
We left the beach at approximately 7:00 pm. and headed to Doug’s home for food and fellowship.
Sunday, 3/11
Today we planned to head over to an annual event here in Miami called Calle Ocho. This is a huge street festival with about 1 million half naked people, booze, and ungodly music blaring throughout the city. In my opinion, this is just another excuse for sinners to gather, get drunk, act out in the flesh, and only God knows what else. It is our humble opportunity to move into action!
Our great friend and General, Brother Ruben from LA, prepared the way for us by sending out letters and placing phone calls to various department heads in the city. He also graciously provided 3 banners for this event.
A group of youth from Doug’s church accompanied us today, along with Doug’s family, Evangelista, and I. About 15 people total. I was very happy to see the kids all come out.
Arriving at 3PM, we found parking and eventually made our way out to our spot. Doug assembled the kids into about 3 groups, and we hoisted the banners as he began to preach to the revelers. A church from Maryland was also on the block with a banner, tracts, and a visiting pastor from Columbia, who preached passionately in Español. As quickly as they appeared, they disappeared into the crowds.
The kids began to hand out tracts and pocket New Testaments provided by the Gideons, and I gave Doug the truth-horn to address the situation. Over the course of about 2 ½ hours, we preached to and talked with thousands, explaining repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
A couple of firsts for this event:
1 – The afore-mentioned youth group accompanying us. 2 – Doug’s wife Vera preached her first open-air sermon. Another woman from their church also preached for the first time. Both of them did great!
The crowds were noticeably subdued today, unlike last year’s rowdy bunch. I think this is because they separated the different age groups by theme along the street: Adult, youth, and kiddies each had a section or area to “party.” I feel that we did an outstanding job this year.
We honored our cut-off time of 6PM and headed back to the car. We met at a local restaurant and had a meal together before going home, honored to be able to carry the gospel of Christ to a dark, lost, and dying world.
PLEASE PRAY FOR US!

Thanks to all who are praying for this team. (Our website is http://www.roam-usa.com)
We have recently gathered a youth group from a local church and took them out on the streets for one of the annual events here in Miami. It's called Calle Ocho, and I would say about, oh, 1 MILLION PEOPLE walk down this street over the course of 1 day. It went really well.
I have a good relationship with the youth pastor, and he is very motivated to get out there! I am praying for this to spread into the church and get hold of some of the leaders and catch them on FIRE!

ROAM USA / Miami Bible Believer’s Report for 3/3/07 and 3/4/07
Saturday 3/3:
Doug, Evangelista and I (JK) arrived at the beach at approximately 5:00 pm. This is the first weekend of spring break, so we knew there would be a lot of college students at the beach.
We set up along the coral wall by Wet Willies, and Doug began to preach. He exhorted the crowd to turn from sin and put faith in Jesus Christ. Almost immediately, Doug had a group of hecklers accusing him of judging, telling him not to throw stones in glass houses, etc. Doug is a no-nonsense gospel preacher. He pretty much says what God puts on his heart, and when he is finished, he steps down from the wall. Doug preached for about 30 minutes today, which is a little longer than usual. He then quickly began a conversation with some of the young ladies who were listening to his message.
Evangelista went after Doug and preached on holiness, living righteously, coming to the Lord with humility, repentance, being a disciple of Jesus Christ, and on hellfire. There was a young lady who, at first, walked around half naked, but once she heard the preaching, she put on her clothes and began to listen to all of us preaching. She admitted to being a Christian and going to a Baptist church. Evangelista pleaded with the listeners to depart from all evil. There was a young, lesbian couple listening and as Evangelista exhorted them to turn from sin, one of them would shake their heads as to say that she didn’t want to repent. Evangelista mentioned that people are not willing to turn from sin because they enjoyed their sin. However, God would hold each one accountable for their actions, good or bad. Evangelista also preached for about 30 minutes.
I preached after Evangelista, and was able to gather a fairly large crowd, thanks to a perverted heckler. He mocked and ridiculed as I refuted all of his fallacies. There was also one young African-American man who claimed that I was doing it all wrong. I asked him whether he was in sin. He didn’t want to answer me, but I continued to ask him, with no response. I told him to show me how I’m doing it all wrong and I encouraged him to start preaching to the crowd. He didn’t seem to know any scriptures to quote from regarding salvation yet he claimed to be a Christian. I gave him a few references to use and he used one of them, which was Eph. 2:8-9. He began to quote it to the crowd and the crowd began to clap. He also told them many things that were unbiblical, which the crowd loved. I then stepped in and began to rebuke the crowd and told them that what this young man was saying was not the entire truth of the matter. I continued to plead with the crowd, as they were very hardened and did not want to turn from their sin. Doug later on mentioned that the people at Mardi-Gras seemed more receptive than the South Beach crowd. Now that is very sad indeed. I preached for about 45 minutes.
We then decided to move closer to Wet Willies, and as it was now getting dark, I noticed a young lady with a baby sitting on the grass. I approached her, and come to find out, she’s looking for the father of her baby. We asked her where he was and she said that she believes he was close by the beach area, but was unfamiliar with the area since she came down from Georgia. I decided to give her a ride. Apparently, she had not seen him in a year and was not sure where he lived at. As we drove north, we ended up by Haulover Beach, driving around, until we dropped her off at a spot she recognized.
We officially left the beach around 9PM, and headed over to Doug’s for some food and fellowship.
Sunday 3/4:
We decided to head back to the beach today, as it was Winter Party weekend. This is an annual event where sodomites from all over the country come to our community to flaunt their wickedness.
We set up our banners close to the Versace Mansion and headed towards the gathering they were having at 12th and Ocean. We decided to stop across the street from the Palace, which is a homosexual bar. Without any preaching, simply with the banners lifted, a man came directly at Doug and began to attack him. He broke the poles and wanted to tear down the banner. Doug started to push him away, but was unsuccessful. Three others then came and attacked me, tearing down our other banner. I got knocked to the ground as I tried to keep them away, and the men began punching me and screaming all types of profanities at me. I then felt the zeal of the Lord as I rushed over to the one trashing the banner in the street and ripped it from his hands. I then approached the other guy trashing Doug’s banner, and ripped it from his hands. Meanwhile, Evangelista is catching all of this on video.
After I sternly rebuked them all, the crowd began to chant “go home, go home,” but I continued to warn the wicked of God’s impending judgment. I was blown away by the fact that nobody helped me, and nobody seemed to dare say anything in opposition to this group of savages attacking us.
The same sodomite who initially instigated the first attack then approached me again and tried to rip the truth horn from my hands, but could not. He screamed and cursed, but I told him he was very intolerant and unloving towards us, and asked him why he couldn’t simply accept me the way I am? Eventually another one came and tried to snatch my banner again, and as I fought him off, another joined in the tug of war. I tried to fight them off and ended up on the streets as the cars that passed by came to a screeching halt. There were hundreds of people watching as all of this was occurring, with no police officer in sight. As they were dragging me with the banner, I let go so as not to get attacked within the Palace Bar. Another sodomite also got his hands on the other banner as well and disappeared into the crowd.
Again, while all this was going on, Evangelista was filming it all. Two officers finally arrived and we approached them, telling them what had transpired. They watched the video and told us to calm down and leave the area. I told them that I had a right, as a US Citizen, to be able to walk down the sidewalk without fear of being attacked. I was respectful, but firm with the officers as I had to remind them of my Constitutional rights. They agreed and they asked me whether I wanted to press any charges. I told them no, I just wanted our banners back, but also wanted to say a few things to the homosexuals at the Palace Bar. After retrieving one of our banners from the trash can by the bar, they allowed me to preach for a few minutes, and we then left the scene.
One of the officers followed us on his four-wheeler and called out to us. We approached him and I gave him a handshake, thanking him for his help? He told us that we needed to be careful, seeing that they are homosexuals and some carry disease. Noticing that I was a bit bloody from the incident, I could see his concern. A couple of fire fighters/paramedics approached the scene and offered assistance. They sprayed some hydrogen peroxide on my scratches/wounds and I got rid of my bloody t-shirt.
We then decided to head over to Wet Willies and preach there. Doug began to preach and had a crowd he was contending with for the faith, as I held up the banner without the poles. After Doug preached for about 10 minutes, I preached and Doug held the banner. I quickly had a small group of hecklers. One lesbian couple approached me and began to gyrate and perform many wicked acts in front of the crowd that cheered them on and filmed them. I continued to preach and rebuke the crowd for their wickedness. Towards the end, there were a few young African American men that I was able to have a decent conversation with. I felt as though I really got through to the young man named Bobby. He was sincere, and we were able to answer all of his questions. I noticed that we have been getting a lot more of these types of situations lately.
Evangelista was having a conversation with a friendly police officer and told him what had transpired earlier on at the homosexual bar. He enjoys our preaching and was mentioning that we are warning the people and they will stand before God one day without excuse. He also said something like “mark my words, saying anything against homosexuals will be considered a hate crime one day in this country.”
We left the beach at approximately 8:00 pm, rejoicing in that we were counted worthy to be mocked and ridiculed for the name of Jesus. Remember, the servant is not greater than his master!
PLEASE PRAY FOR US!

Bible Believer’s Report / Mardi-Gras 2007 (Part 3)This 3-part report is intended to relate some of the highlights of the outreach to Mardi-Gras 2007 by multiple Bible Believers’ chapters from across the USA.
The team consisted of: Bro. Ruben (L.A.), Bro. Kevin (San Fran.), Bro. Grant and Bro. Tim (Oregon), Bro. Dean (Arizona), Bro. David (Texas), Bro. Matt (Missouri), Bro. Larry K. and Bro. Larry C. (Tampa), and Bro. Doug and Bro. JK (Miami).Tuesday 2/20/07 – Fat Tuesday was finally here, the day everyone was waiting for. We arrived at the French Quarter at about 8am, and made our way down the streets to Jackson Square. Bro Dean carried the huge catholic banner and preached to light crowds, and we drew out a heckler with a megaphone. He constantly repeated “stop the hate brother, stop the hate” over and over. He said we were ruining everyone else’s fun, but also claimed to be a Christian. Go figure. After about an hour or so the crowds began to fill in, and I switched positions with Dean. Holding the banner and the truth-horn, I blasted the scriptures across the square, warning the revelers to repent or perish. We eventually split into 2 teams and criss-crossed the streets with banners flying and horns blaring. At about noon we met up at a church on Dauphine and planned for our next preach. The Discovery Channel was there filming a few interviews, and we took a short break. Our goal was to hit the sodomite festival, then go back out to Jackson Square to preach to the heathen festival. The film crews would follow along as well. With 11 men and 7 banners, we approached the sodomite parade and tried to get in as close as possible from a few different side streets. My job, along with Larry and Tim, was to keep people off of Ruben and block incoming projectiles as he preached to the revelers. In my opinion, it was a little early as far as drunkenness because they seemed to have pretty good aim. I would look up and then turn to look elsewhere and POW they would nail us with beads, beers, and drinks. We got pretty close at one point, but the police were right on top of us and seemed real nervous. A Lt. came and spoke to us and said “I am not gonna’ let you guys start a riot on my shift, you better make it quick and move on!” Ruben assured him we would be brief, and we moved down the street back towards Jackson Square. Things really got crazy at this point, as the young people take this party thing very seriously. Screaming demon-infested drunken rage-filled youth followed us down the street all the way to the square. Doug obviously has a burden for these kids as he constantly pleaded with them to repent. It sort of spilled out onto the square, as the groups of tarot readers and psychics looked at us with disgust. The most ridiculous part about this is that we are right in front of a catholic cathedral. No opposition from those folks, unfortunately. Discovery arranged to film a debate with Ruben and the “stop the hate” heckler. This guy was never able to justify why he was not reproving the blatant sin right in front of him, yet he exerted all of his energies to try and disrupt us. I had a chance to disrupt a couple of “readings” and warn the people to repent of that witchcraft. Of course, they cussed me out. After this segment, we made our way back to the church to regroup. Bro Matt had to break off at this point and get back to his family, but we sure appreciated his presence. He is a great man of God and I had a chance to fellowship with him a little bit the night before. Our plan now was to get out to Bourbon St. and preach until about 11:30 pm, then work our way around a side street to Canal and Bourbon to precede the clean-up trucks at midnight. I could write books about the one on one chats, the preaching, the chaos. To be honest, it sort of blurs together when I think back on it. It was the same thing over and over again: You can’t judge me, Jesus loves me, God forgives all sin, I’ll repent at midnight, etc, etc, etc. This is the fruit of the modern church that is soft on sin and heavy on forgiveness. The scales are definitely tipped in the devil’s favor, or so it seems. We obviously know better, as I John 4:4 says “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” We wrapped up that night fighting our way through the thick crowds one last time and warning them of the results of their wickedness. After it was all said and done, we had done our job. Our hands are clean, and the blood is now on their own heads (Ezekiel 3). My sincere prayer is that those who are convicted at the preaching will respond with brokenness and contrition, and God will save their sin-sick souls. After the ride back to Sister Jan’s, we all sat and had one last meal together. Again, we had conversations that were like no other. Everyone was pretty tired and hit the sack right away. Ruben and I took Bro. Kevin to the airport and had some great fellowship to and from. We got back at about 3am and after 20 hours, hit the bed and got some sleep. We awoke the next day to breakfast and Ruben asked me if I wanted to preach to the Archbishop of Louisiana at the cathedral at Jackson Square. They have 3 services on Ash Wednesday to accommodate all of the “repentant” parishioners. He warned me that the police may want to arrest anyone who got close to the church and preached. After breakfast, Bro David and the Larry Bros departed, and that left Ruben, Dean, Doug and I to put the icing on the cake. Grant and Tim were to stay behind at Jan’s until their flight out on Friday. I felt the Lord had put a hard word on my heart from Isaiah 29 and Matthew 15. “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Our plan was to scout the area and Ruben would show me where he would pick me up if I needed to get away in a hurry. Doug played the unsuspecting tourist with his camera, and we set out to get the last word in. The noon service soon dismissed, and in the afternoon drizzle, dozens of people filed out with the familiar ashes on their foreheads. I found my spot in the center of the courtyard about 20 feet from the clergy and lifted my voice (what was left of it, anyways) and rebuked them all for their hypocrisy. I turned in disgust and made my way back to the van with Doug on my heels. I felt a relief when we drove away and thanked the Lord for His goodness towards us for the entire weekend. After a buffet-style lunch with Ruben and Dean, we said our goodbyes at the airport and found our gate. No injuries, no arrests, and everyone worked together like a well-oiled machine to get the Word out to the revelers. Praise God! Folks, simply said, there is no greater attainment in this life than to OBEY GOD! Bible Believer’s Report / Mardi-Gras 2007 (Part 2)
This 3-part report is intended to relate some of the highlights of the outreach to Mardi-Gras 2007 by multiple Bible Believers’ chapters from across the USA.
The team consisted of: Bro. Ruben (L.A.), Bro. Kevin (San Fran.), Bro. Grant and Bro. Tim (Oregon), Bro. Dean (Arizona), Bro. David (Texas), Bro. Matt (Missouri), Bro. Larry K. and Bro. Larry C. (Tampa), and Bro. Doug and Bro. JK (Miami).
Monday 2/19/07 – After some much needed rest, we awoke to breakfast and fellowship together. Sister Jan made sure we had everything we needed: a hot shower, towels, a warm bed, food, even coffee on request. Sitting at the table with ten street preachers can certainly evoke a lot of great stories. I consider those times priceless. Maybe we should film those conversations one of these years.
Discovery Channel was scheduled to arrive around noon time to take some footage of the devastation in the 9th Ward. We were prepared to hit the streets by the time they arrived. We decided to do a refresher course concerning the unbiblical teachings practiced in the Roman Catholic Church. But first, Ruben drew his proverbial “line in the sand” for all those present. He gave a great talk on what to expect out in the midst of the battle. With cameras rolling, everyone was just as natural as if the cameras weren’t even there.
We loaded up around 3:00 pm and headed over to the 9th Ward. When we arrived, the devastation was obvious. We found a spot, parked, and I grabbed a banner and stood next to a decimated house while everyone gathered around Ruben for his interview. As only he can do, Ruben explained God’s judgment, wrath, and mercy clearly evident through this disaster. I looked around at the faces of the men and noticed one of them was weeping for this city. Some of the men also gave their perspective on the entire situation in New Orleans.
A group of us broke off from the filming and headed over to Bourbon Street around 5:00 pm. Believe it or not, the day before we had found a free parking spot four blocks from Bourbon. This is unheard of, and parking is very scarce and very expensive. As we pulled up, we noticed almost the same exact parking spot open. It turns out that it was not a parking spot, but one opened up in front of us, and then another one a couple of cars up from that. Needless to say, we parked for free.
We gathered our gear and made our way to Bourbon and St. Louis. Again, thick crowds, beads flying, women flashing body parts, total chaos in my opinion. I witnessed a 14 year old girl lifting her shirt for beads, while mom and dad just stood there and laughed. Atrocious.
We were able to secure our barricade to keep the crowds at bay, and the same three State Troopers were standing guard about 40 feet from us. We had much favor with the police this weekend. These same three were continually pulling the drunken revelers away from us as they would scream in disapproval. Each man took turns preaching and warning the crowds to repent and be converted. Hundreds of one on one conversations took place; some fruitful and some not so fruitful.
I met a young man who was a U.S. Marine, had spent four years in Catholic seminary, and was walking through with his two buddies when I stopped him and asked “what are you doing here?” He began to tell me his story and explained how he was just having a good time with his friends. I inquired whether he understood biblical repentance, and he replied “it means to turn from your sin and not do it anymore, or you are a hypocrite.” In that moment, his entire countenance changed, he poured out his beer, and said “you’re right, I should not be here.” His friends stared in amazement as he announced his departure from Mardi-Gras.
This is just one story of hundreds. Men breaking down and weeping in front of the preacher and crying out to God. People inquiring about biblical truth and getting straight answers from holy men of God. This gospel requires much work. Plowing, sowing, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and finally, harvest. No microwaves in the Kingdom of God.
Soon, Bro. Ruben and the rest of the team joined us as we continued to lift up our voices to the crowds. Bro. Dean was particularly fired up this night, as he preached himself hoarse. A 67 year old man made some of us young whipper-snappers look tired. He was definitely anointed by the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel to the hardened sinners on Bourbon Street.
At the end of the night, we gathered our gear and headed back to the van satisfied and content with the outcome. 2 Corinthians 5:11 says “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.” Persuasion. Sometimes Christians forget about their job as ministers of reconciliation. This team certainly tasted and lived the scriptures on this day.
Another meal and off to bed, as we would need much rest for the 16-hour preach tomorrow affectionately known as Fat Tuesday………
To be continued…………………..

Bible Believer’s Report / Mardi-Gras 2007 (Part 1)
This 3-part report is intended to relate some of the highlights of the outreach to Mardi-Gras 2007 by multiple Bible Believers’ chapters from across the USA.
The team consisted of: Bro. Ruben (L.A.), Bro. Kevin (San Fran.), Bro. Grant and Bro. Tim (Oregon), Bro. Dean (Arizona), Bro. David (Texas), Bro. Matt (Missouri), Bro. Larry K. and Bro. Larry C. (Tampa), and Bro. Doug and Bro. JK (Miami).
Sunday 2/18 – Doug and I (JK) arrived in New Orleans in the early afternoon. Ruben and Larry K. left the team on Bourbon Street to preach while they graciously picked us up from the airport. After a quick pit stop to drop off our bags, we went straight out to Bourbon Street to preach to the revelers.
Now this is no ordinary street party; no-no-no…..This is TOTAL DEBAUCHERY! As we stopped on our way to unfurl the banners, I looked down on a dried out puddle of vomit, and thought, “Welcome to Mardi-Gras!” The stench was evident, and beads and trash littered the streets everywhere.
The team that was left behind to preach had encountered some issues while Ruben was away, and were partially shut down by a particular officer. A quick call to the lawyers by Ruben had dramatic results, for as we lifted our voices to preach on the truth-horns, we encountered zero opposition from the police. We were met by the other team eventually, and began to move down Bourbon towards Canal where the parades and floats were passing by.
The norm for this event is lots of people and lots of booze, and not necessarily in that order. Thick crowds dispersed onto Bourbon Street as the parade ended, and we began to “cry aloud, and spare not,” “warning the wicked” of the eternally disastrous results of their sin. Lots of mockers, and even more people with questions. Some were sincere, and others were just plain drunk. It looked like this was turning out to be the beginning of a very interesting night, to say the least.
At about 6PM, we headed back to the van for a short break, and to get some warmer clothing, etc. The temperatures were pretty close to 50, and cooling off as the evening progressed. In a few short hours, our team had probably preached to more people than most pastors preach to in a year. You must also understand that much preparation and prayer has gone into this event well in advance. We would soon begin to see some fruit of that.
Getting back onto Bourbon and St. Louis (this corner was pretty much our mainstay for most of the preach days), we pointed one team in one direction, and one in the other, to cover as much ground as possible, with many banners flying. These banners are very effective, as they tower high above the crowds for all to easily see.
Now, we are not welcome at this event, so we show up unwanted and uninvited, preaching an uncompromising yet unpopular message of rebuke and reproof to a gospel-hardened generation of easy-believism/pray-a-prayer-and-sin-all-you-want style “christians.” 99% have a drink in their hands, and most are already drunk, with no regard for conviction or any type of remorse for offending a holy God.
One thing I noticed this night was David New from Texas. This brother is very soft-spoken and humble, yet almost every conversation he had ended with a beer-to-the-face. It must have been something he said, because every time I turned around, beer was flying everywhere, and he would just wipe his face off and grin. I jokingly called him the beer magnet.
We all took turns preaching, and one-2-one conversations were priceless. Kevin was busy filming and writing down all the names of everyone we spoke to. We will eventually have a compiled list for each preacher for intercessory prayer later, along with footage to put a face to a name. You meet and talk to so many, that it is very easy to forget names and faces. Hats off to Kevin for encouraging us to ask for names and being patient enough to write them all down. This brother is a true teacher. I learned so much by just listening and observing.
At the end of the night, after hours of preaching and leading thousands to the cross, we headed to Sister Jan’s House to call it a night. A very big thank you to Jan and her guys for taking care of the whole team.
A smooth ride home with some angelic worship music capped a simply wonderful day of ministry. Food and fellowship at the table was unforgettable, as we recounted the day’s events and planned for the next day………….A visit to the 9th Ward with Discovery Channel, and of course back to Bourbon Street for more preaching.
To be continued…………….

Bob, do you ever video your preaching? Yes, we always bring a video camera, and I recommend all open-air preachers do the same - or at least an audio recorder. People do crazy stuff, and we have ours for our protection and the protection of others as well. People lie, but the camera never lies

ROAMUSA/Miami Report for 1/27/07:
Today’s outreach consisted of the same faithful team of Doug, Evangelista and I. We arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:15 pm. Again, because of the great weather, the beach was much more crowded than usual.
We made our way along the coral wall and immediately noticed the construction in preparation for next weekend’s Super Bowl. They are basically transforming a large section of the beach into a miniature city. Our first attempt to preach was overshadowed by forklifts going back and forth so we decided to move further down the wall to find a quieter spot. As we walked, three men approached us, trying to interview us with camera and microphone in hand. I asked the interviewer who he was and he stated that he was filming a documentary on cultural diversity. I passed him off to Doug and began to preach on the wall. Realizing there was no chance of getting a crowd due to the noisy construction and fenced-off areas, we decided to move down closer to the crowds along Ocean Drive.
I began to lift up my voice and caught the attention of the many tourists and visitors in town for the game. I also had a few hecklers and one couple began to question my t-shirt which reads “Jesus Hates Sin – Heb. 1:9.” I immediately opened the Bible and showed the gentleman the verse from Hebrews along with Psalm 5:5 and Psalm 7:11 as his wife exclaimed “Honey, it’s in the Bible, honey that’s what it says!” Initially, his major complaint was with our proclamation of God hating, but after seeing these verses, he began to soften up a bit. A small crowd of about 15-20 gathered to listen to our discussion. All of a sudden, the documentary guy interrupts us, asking to interview my heckler. I began to question him and asked him why he wanted to interview the gentleman and he said “you guys are disagreeing, right?” (looking at the heckler). The most amazing transformation took place right before my eyes as my heckler stated “no, actually, I completely agree with everything he’s telling me.” I got a good chuckle out of that and continued to preach as the documentary guy seemed disappointed that he missed out on some juicy debate for his film.
Meanwhile, sitting right in front of us in his police cruiser the entire time was a Miami Beach Police Sgt. filing his nails, cleaning off his front seat and poking around the entire time I was preaching. He exited his car, glanced at us and casually walked across the street without saying a word.
After dealing with another two or three hecklers, I finished my message and we decided to move closer to the Versace Mansion so Doug could preach his “John Versace Message.”
There were lots of people gaping at the gates of the mansion as we arrived, and ESPN was setting up a huge stage and tent just behind us in Lummus Park. Doug lifted up his voice and began to warn the people. Some of the crew and cast began to listen behind us, as the tourists continued to take pictures of each other standing in front of the Versace Mansion. A guy in a Shrek costume danced and gyrated to the beat of club music coming from the cars as they drove by.
After Doug finished, Evangelista then began to preach to the people. One of the crew members from behind us approached us and acted like he was sloppy drunk, making vulgar comments and even urinating on the tree behind us. I immediately recognized that he was acting and as he walked away he tried to sneak back to the tent and laugh with his friends. It’s amazing how people will try to hinder the preaching of the gospel. I also noticed that as Evangelista poured her heart out and pleaded with the people to repent, that some of the cast and producers from the ESPN tent were listening very intently.
There was also a gentleman standing behind us making little comments here and there. As Evangelista continued to warn the wicked, I turned to the man and said “that’s you!” I then entered into a very lively discussion with him about God, the Bible, Christianity, and living holy. He claimed to be God’s friend, but I explained to him that if he were God’s friend, he would obey God. He admitted to lying, but not being a liar. He admitted being drunk, but refused to be labeled a drunkard. I then explained to him that this type of lifestyle disqualifies him from being God’s friend. After going back and forth for a few more minutes he would not relent or release his sin. Doug gave me the signal that it was time to go so we began to walk back to the car, but not before convincing the gentleman to take a Bible.
We departed the beach about 7:15 pm and discussed the events of the day on our ride home and over dinner, praising God and praying that our labors would begin to produce fruit that remains.
Please pray for us!

'Your daddy is the devil' and 'aggressive homosexuals' aren't inflammatory and insulting? Puh-leaze. Furthermore, calling someome a child of the devil is highly inaccurate. That would be my title, kthxbye. As much as you insult people on this board, let alone God Himself? You are a hypocrite. And the devil is your father as well, because you talk just like him. BTW, I will have to stop by my home town of Brooklyn one of these days and set you straight. You obviously need a good spanking with the Word of God.

You brought your daughter to a bar? You made her sing in a bar?Someone get me the number of Child Protective Services, please. (Btw, the transsexual in this story is my homeboy.) Doug's daughter is 20 years old, and she chose to sing to those sodomites of her own freewill.

Bro. Doug wrote the report this week
Miami Report for 01/20/07
One week after Rev JK and his wife, my daughter and me preached to hundreds of thousands at Art Deco Weekend on Miami Beach, we returned to the scene of the crime.
It was a blustery rainy day. We preached to a few crowds and then decided to go down to where the homosexual community congregates. Rev JK preached for about 20 min. mostly directed to the homosexual issue and how they could be set free. Four young ladies walked up, scantily clad, so the preacher directed his attention towards them. It was a lively debate. More and more, we are seeing that packs of young ladies are walking around acting like Madonna and Brittany. Acting as if, lesbianism was as natural as flying a kite.
After Rev JK finished talking with the young ladies, we decided to leave the area. As we did, shouts of, "There go the Christians!" reverberated out of the gay bar followed by one of the transsexuals reciting the 23rd Psalm, saying, "The Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want." At this point, I decided to grab my Bible and run halfway across the street and declare, "The Lord is not your shepherd; your daddy is the devil." At this point, I asked my daughter to come over with me. I asked her if she would sing Amazing Grace in the bar. Again, she looked at me in shock. But then I turned to Rev JK and I told him that my daughter agreed to sing in the bar. He and his wife enthusiastically responded. So my daughter got up on the pulpit three feet from a crowd of about seventy aggressive homosexuals with another hundred or so tourist onlookers and she sang three lines of Amazing Grace before they knew what hit them. The devil quickly responded and had a cross-dresser come out and start to do a jig.
It all happened pretty quickly. The Lord was really trying to reach out to these people.

Art Deco Weekend – ROAMUSA/Miami Bible Believer's Report 1/13/07-1/14/07
Saturday 1/13/07:
Doug, Eileen (Doug’s daughter), Evangelista and I arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:30 pm. As this was Art Deco Weekend, we would see hundreds of people walking down Ocean Drive where all the vendors and food stands are set up. This is an annual festival that draws lots of people, but more than usual this year because of the perfect weather. A street preacher’s smorgasbord, so to speak.
Once we set-up, I held up the scripture banner (I Corinthians 6:9-10). Many of the people that passed by read the banner, as you could see them mouth the words. Doug began to preach. He exhorted the crowd to repent and put faith in Jesus Christ. Evangelista and I then each took a turn at preaching. It was clear early on that we had a gospel-hardened crowd, as we had little to no response.
We then decided to move to a different spot by the Versace Mansion, where Eileen stood and sang Amazing Grace. She did a great job. I decided to go to the car and drop off some items, while the rest of the team stayed. Doug preached and exhorted the people to put faith in Jesus. He was then approached by a group of teenage girls who claimed that there was nothing wrong with homosexuality, and began to curse at Doug. One of the girls, who claimed to be a lesbian, came back and mooned Doug. How sad it is that these teenage girls are into this form of lifestyle and rebellion against Almighty God. While Doug preached, a Catholic lady approached Evangelista and I and mentioned that she agreed with the message, but that we needed to preach more love and bring them in that way. I told her that this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. I moved on to a different conversation with some other folks, and she began to talk to Evangelista and Eileen.
Eileen then followed after Doug and preached a great message of surrendering to Jesus. As soon as Eileen began to preach, a gentleman came by and spit on her feet. She handled this very well, and never even flinched. This was her first time preaching in this type of setting, and we are very glad to report that she did an outstanding job!
I then began to preach and received a few “Amen’s” from the crowd when I began to rebuke the sin of homosexuality. Almost immediately, a couple of heckling transvestites pranced up to us, dressed in drag, and began to scream at me and say how much Jesus loved them. I began to rebuke their sin and told them to repent of their homosexuality. The crowd was stunned as I refuted the folly and lies of these men lost in their perversion. This went on for a few minutes and drew in a larger crowd.
Evangelista then preached and felt the stirring of the Holy Ghost, and exhorted the people to repent of sin and put faith in Jesus Christ. She always pours out her heart, and I believe many are genuinely impacted by her messages. All in all, we had a very effective time of preaching.
Sunday 1/14/07:
We arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:00 pm. Joining me today were Doug and Evangelista. We stopped at a local drugstore for a bathroom break, and I decided to share a gentle reminder with those standing in line that they needed to repent of sin and put faith in Jesus. I was immediately stopped by the assistant manager and told to leave the store. A couple of sodomites were very offended by my t-shirt, and had no problem sharing their displeasure with me. I don’t think they got kicked out of the store, but I sure did.
We left and made our way to Ocean Drive. Once there, we set up and immediately we were surrounded by people as they read our banner and our shirts. There was a lot of opposition, as I wore my anti-homosexual shirt. People began to mock and heckle, so I began to lift up my voice to those around us. One girl who was handing out chips became very irate, and she took a swing at Evangelista and almost broke our camera.
We then moved to a different spot, and Doug held the banner as I began to preach. I admonished to crowd of people passing by to stop their rebellion and sin against God. I stated that drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I continued to admonish them that they needed to give their lives to Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for the sin of the world. While I preached, a lady on stilts came by me and tried to be funny and cover my shirt. We saw her in last year’s Art Deco Weekend. I preached for about an hour and a half, and even had a few people encourage us to keep up our preaching.
Doug then preached and was able to gather a large crowd of about 100, as he was going back and forth with a few hecklers. One of his hecklers admitted to being a drunkard and fornicator. Doug admonished him and fell to his knees, pleading for this young man to repent of his sin. Doug preached for about an hour, and did a great job defending the Bible. It is sometimes easy to get a crowd, but very difficult to maintain it.
We left South Beach at approximately 7:30 pm. Again, thousands attended this event, and all were encouraged to repent and believe the gospel. We count ourselves privileged to be able to work this specific field, and expect great fruit to come from our labors!
Please pray for us!

ROAM-USA/Miami Bible Believers Report for 1/6/07:
The wife and I arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:15 pm. We parked our vehicle and made our way towards Ocean Drive. We knew there would be many people on the beach as it was a beautiful, sunny, South Florida day.
We passed by the bathroom area and saw our friend JC, whom we spoke with briefly. I noticed some people by the shower area and therefore decided that this would be a great place to begin preaching. I got up on the coral wall and began exhorting the people to repent of sin and put faith in Jesus Christ and live obedient to the Bible. I quickly had some hecklers who stated that they loved to sin, but yet professed that they loved God with alcoholic drinks in their hands. I exclaimed that they did not love God, seeing they had drinks in their hands and seeing that they admitted that they loved to sin. They eventually left and I continued to preach to those willing to listen for about 15 minutes.
We then decided to move further down the wall and I felt impressed to preach to the 75 or so volleyball players and spectators. They did not want me to preach to them, to say the least. I got up on the coral wall and began to lift up my voice and plead with them to repent. “How long have you listened to the preaching and have still not repented,” I shouted. One guy yelled out that they were all Jews. Another guy yelled that they’ve been listening to the preaching every week. Minutes later, the waterman (a homeless gentleman who makes money selling water on the beach) got up on the coral wall and began to shout vulgarity and profanity at me, thinking that he would intimidate so that I would stop preaching. I continued to preach and rebuke them all. At one point, one gentleman stated that he would listen to me, if I would just stop preaching to the players. Knowing that he was trying to be deceptive, I told him that he was not being sincere in wanting to surrender his life to Jesus and that I would continue to preach. Although the resistance was heavy, I feel that we made a great impression on them with our persistence. One never knows who is listening, nor how they will respond, even well after the preaching finished. After about 20 minutes, I stopped and we moved further down to our usual preaching spot near the wall at Wet Willie’s.
Once there, Evangelista got on top of our new step-up stool and began to preach. She eventually had some hecklers. One stated that all one has to do is believe in Jesus and that repentance was not necessary for salvation. She was clearly saddened by that, as many evangelical churches refuse to preach repentance from sin. Evangelista continued to admonish him that if he believed in Jesus and the Bible, which he claimed to believe, he would believe in repenting from sin. He stated that he did not believe in that. Then another gentleman came and asked her questions as well. He stated that he was Jewish. Evangelista asked him whether or not he kept the 10 Commandments, and he openly admitted that he didn’t. She then admonished him to repent and put faith in Jesus. The other heckler was contending with me as Evangelista was trying to answer the other gentleman’s questions. Both hecklers eventually left, and I continued to preach for another 10 minutes.
We then moved to the street across from Wet Willies, and I began to preach again. The response was very minimal and the crowds thin, so we decided to head over to Lincoln Road Mall.
When we arrived, we saw our friend David. We said hello to him and proceeded to go to our usual spot close by his table where he sells souvenirs. Evangelista began to preach to those passing by. We had the usual cold response from the Lincoln Road crowd. Evangelista preached on repentance from sin, faith in Jesus Christ, and obedience to the Bible. At point, however, one of the vendors became very angry at the preaching and kept shouting profanity at us and wanted us to leave that area. Evangelista, filled with the Holy Ghost, rebuked the gentleman and commanded him to repent of his wicked heart and that he might have mercy on that great and terrible Day of Judgment. She had another heckler who was on his bike also yelling profanity and making blasphemous comments about Jesus. Evangelista gave him many exhortations.
We decided to go and preach at one of spots we preached at a few weeks ago. However, when we arrived, that spot was unavailable. We then agreed to go back to our previous spot near the angry vendor. Once there, I began to preach, and again, the vendor became irate and walked back and forth to another vendor to complain to him. The new vendor approached me and stated that people on Lincoln Road Mall did not want to hear the preaching and they were there just to relax and that we needed to find a church to preach at. I stated that if more Christians were obedient to God’s commandments, it would not seem strange that we were out there preaching. I continued to admonish the people passing by for about 15 minutes. We left Lincoln Road Mall a little after 8:00 pm, confident in our accomplishing the will of God this day!
We appreciate all of your prayers!

New Year’s Eve in Downtown Miami - 12/31/06:
The wife and I decided to preach at the New Year’s celebration in Downtown Miami again. Last year, we had our team of about 4 or 5 preachers, but this year it was just us two. We found a parking spot around 7:30 pm and proceeded to head towards the park.
As soon as we arrived, Evangelista and I began to take turns preaching. There weren’t too many people there yet, but we continued to hammer away the Word of God. At one point, we decided to use the horn, but were eventually approached by police officers telling us we were not allowed to use voice amplification. As I spoke with the officers, Evangelista put down the horn and continued to preach. I had my video camera rolling, and one of the officers mentioned that I was not allowed to film him. I told him that we were in a public park and that we were allowed to film in public. The officer told me that he would need to research this matter. They gave us permission to continue to preach without the horn, which we did. There was a young gentleman who recently came from Cuba who listened to the entire preach. He said that he was a Christian and did not drink alcohol, smoke, etc. We talked with him for a little while, and he seemed very sincere.
After about two hours or so of preaching, we decided to go to our car and drop off the horn, and to take a restroom break. As we approached the street where our car was parked, we noticed that all the cars in that area were gone. We had remembered that a gentleman earlier on had mentioned that they were towing away cars that night. We did not take him seriously, as we thought that he just wanted us to park in his lot for extra $$. As we got closer to where our car was parked, we noticed a sign that said “no parking or stopping.” Unfortunately, we did not see the sign when we parked our car as there were branches covering it. We thought our car was also towed, but thank God, it was still there! We believe all the other cars that were there in front of us were towed away and they were probably coming back for our car to tow it away as well. We decided to find a different spot, and as we turned the corner of that street, we asked the Lord for favor. We immediately saw a few people getting into a car, and so we took their parking space. We give God all the glory for that spot, as there were hundreds of people going to the festivities at this point.
As we proceeded back to our previous spot where we preached next to the fountain, we noticed a lot more people there. We had one hour or so remaining before the ball would drop and the fireworks would begin. I began to preach and was immediately surrounded by many attentive listeners. I would say the crowd fluctuated frequently, and at one point about 200 people stood listening. There were even Christians in the crowd who began praying for the preaching of the Word. Other Christians continued to say “Amen” and other words of encouragement. Others were stunned by the words that proceeded forth and were under heavy conviction. People began to clap during parts of the sermon and at the end (usually the only applause we get is when we stop and leave, or when someone gets arrested). Others had their hands and arms raised towards heaven as they were interceding for us and were touched and being ministered to by the Holy Ghost. One gentleman at the end of the sermon said that he was “very convicted” of the message, particularly the part about robbing God of time, wasting time, not taking advantage of the time God has given, etc.
Out of all the times we’ve preached open air, we have never received that much encouragement and we’ve never seen such a move of God in the audience as we received this night. After the preaching of the Word, many approached Evangelista and I and asked us for our contact information. One gentleman, who translated in Spanish to a group of people, stated that “we should not let the devil discourage us, but to continue preaching because this is what the Lord wants us to do.” (I must also mention at this point that the opposition we faced en route to this event was very heavy, and it seemed like the enemy was fighting and clawing and trying everything to keep us from going out to preach)
As we proceeded to leave, we continued to admonish the crowd and one gentleman passed us and I encouraged him about the Lord. He stopped in his tracks and we began to talk with him. He seemed drunk, but was aware of what I was telling him. We told him we would send him a bible and I was able to get his phone number in order to contact him the following day. It seemed that he was blown away by our willingness and persistence to admonish him and warn him, and he could not believe we were serious.
All in all, I believe this was a very successful preach, and we look forward to getting back into the week-to-week preaching on South Beach.
Please pray for us!

ROAM USA – Miami Bible Believers Report for 12/16/06 and 12/23/06
12/16 – Lincoln Road Mall and AA Arena:
The team this week consisted of Emmanuel, Veronica, Evangelista and I (JK). It was a rainy and dreary day, so we decided to scope out the areas we usually preach at, like Wet Willies, before we parked. There didn’t appear to be too many people there, so we decided to go to Lincoln Road Mall. We parked our vehicle, and proceeded to walk towards the entrance of the mall.
We saw our friend David, who we mentioned in our earlier report. He seems to be doing okay. We said hello to him and he asked if he could pray for our outreach that day. He prayed for the team and we said our goodbyes. Just a few feet from David, there appeared to be a young lady sitting on the ground who gave tarot card readings. I rebuked her and kept on walking. She responded by saying how we gave Christianity a bad name. I turned around and told her she needed to repent of her sorcery and put faith in Jesus Christ and told her that she needed to be set free from satan. She said she was a Christian and did not practice witchcraft. There was a young man by her side, who kept on defending her practices, and later admitted being a satanist. She refused to forsake her sin and put complete faith in Jesus by surrendering her witchcraft. After several minutes of warning her and her boyfriend of the danger they were in, we moved on.
We found a spot and Emmanuel began to lift up his voice. Emmanuel did a good job preaching. He eventually found himself with a heckler who claimed that all people needed to do is to be a good person, do the right thing, but avoided repentance. Emmanuel came against all of his unbiblical arguments. Emmanuel had a few listeners and preached for about 40 minutes. Most people just passed by and ignored us, and some were glad we were there. As Manny preached, I met an older homeless gentleman who asked for money. He actually had a Bible in his hand, and I gave him some money and encouraged him to obey the Bible. He gave me a verse, Psalm 41:1, and seemed very grateful.
I then began to preach and also had some listeners. I preached for about 30 minutes and had a heckler who pretty much stayed for the entire preach, mocking and making gestures. He began to question me as we packed up to leave, and that drew in a small crowd of approximately 30 people. I warned them all of the results of sin, dying in your sin, and eternal hellfire. They were not very receptive, to say the least.
At about 6:00 pm, we proceeded to go back to the car, as we planned to go to the American Airlines Arena where the Miami Heat would be playing.
We arrived at 6:30 pm and I dropped off the team to find a parking spot. Emmanuel preached on his bullhorn and Evangelista also preached. I also preached to the people walking by as they were headed towards the arena. There were groups of about 40 people every few minutes, making their way across the street, and waiting in the crosswalk for the policeman’s instructions. Captive audiences were warned repeatedly of their idolatry, and for many it was just a big joke. I pray God has mercy on those who mock and have no fear of Him. May they find the repentance they so desperately need.
We left around 7:40 pm and headed for some time of food and fellowship.
12/23 – US1 @ SW 136th Street:
This week included the wife and I only. We planned to go to Lincoln Road, but instead chose to raise a banner on the main road by one of the local malls. We prayed, and walked out to the roadside with truth-horn and banner and Bibles in hand…oh, and our video camera too!
For the next hour or so, Evangelista and I preached to hundreds of passers-by, warning them about the results of living selfishly, of being a friend of the world, of covetousness, and the big lie…Santa Claus! We admonished all men to repent, because God’s appointed Day of Judgment is swiftly approaching!
We had some amen’s, some weird looks, some friends who saw us and were happy, and others that really wanted nothing to do with us! It was quite interesting. I know many saw and read the scripture banner, and we had a huge impact on all within earshot as well. Evangelista also handed out a few Christian booklets too!
Praise God that we do not sow seed in vain, for if we diligently continue, and do not grow weary, we will certainly reap a harvest. Please pray for us!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are eternally thankful for the grace that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us, and we will show Him our gratitude by continuing to preach the gospel to this lost, sin-sick and dying generation. Please consider interceding for us this week, as we prepare to go out again into hostile territory, and fight for the souls of men.

ROAM USA – Miami Bible Believers Report for 12/9/06
This week’s outreach takes us to Santa’s Enchanted Forest, an annual amusement park set up specifically for Christmas. Micah and Emmanuel preached here last year, so I consulted with Micah, and he informed me that they preached about 30-40 yards away from the main entrance without interruption.
Evangelista, Doug, and I arrived at about 7:15 pm, parked and made our way to the main entrance. Large groups of people were making their way there as well, on shuttle trains and on foot. We set up the pulpit, turned on the camera, and Doug started preaching. He gave a basic outline of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come. Most people just walked by and ignored us.
Our plan was to tag team preach as long as the crowds continued to file in. Doug went about 20 minutes, then passed it on to me. I began to rebuke the parents for lying to their children about Santa Claus, and warned them to teach their children the real reason for Christmas. I am amazed at how many people, even Christians, lie to their children every year about a man who does not even exist, and threaten them with no gifts on Christmas if they are disobedient. Then they get upset with their kids when they lie to them in return, but never even consider the lies they teach. Hypocrisy at it’s worst.
I had a young lady approach me and continuously curse me and warn me to shut up, or someone was going to beat me up. I will not repeat what she said exactly, but it was not very ladylike. Out of nowhere, the security crew rushed directly up to us, ordered us to stop filming, stop preaching, that this was a public park, etc, etc.
Of course, we did not stop, and I reminded Evangelista that she needed to keep filming everything. This happens to us regularly, and most security officers get very upset with us when we do not comply. The thing is, we know our rights, and we stand up for ourselves, and this often brings one of two responses: Anger, or complete shock.
These guys were really blown away when I humbly, but firmly, told them that we had every right to be there. They asked for a permit, and I told him we have the US Constitution, and that we were not breaking any laws. He called his superiors, and they showed up to give us a looking over. All the while, I continued to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Doug had a conversation with one of them, and I believe some of these were actually park police officers.
At any rate, they decided to leave without bothering us any further. Praise God for His wondrous favor! I preached 25 minutes or so, and gave it over to Evangelista. I am very blessed to have a loving and godly wife by my side. She preaches very clearly, and with great conviction. She testified of Christ to the crowds, and warned them of the coming judgment. She had a young man inquire about being born again, and patiently explained to him how to repent from sin and have faith towards the Lord Jesus Christ. He was very receptive, and not at all disrespectful or rude. His girlfriend then retrieved him, and they promptly entered the park.
Our crowds were about 25 to 50 at a time, steadily passing by in groups, some heckling, and some cursing, others indifferently staring out into the night. We stayed out there about 2 ½ hours, and as the crowds began to dwindle down, we decided to call it a night.
I believe we were very effective for the Kingdom of God, and very disruptive towards the kingdom of satan claus. Our efforts, I believe, do not go unnoticed by God. We will sow, others will water, and He will give the increase.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are eternally thankful for the grace that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us, and we will show Him our gratitude by continuing to preach the gospel to this lost, sin-sick and dying generation. Please consider interceding for us this week, as we prepare to go out again into hostile territory, and fight for the souls of men.

ROAM-USA/Miami Bible Believers Report 11-25-06
We arrived on South Beach at approximately 4:15 pm. Today’s outreach included only JK and me (Evangelista). The first thing JK noticed when we arrived is that we forgot our video camera. This is a very important piece of equipment, as we always need video footage for our protection, and for those we interact with. This day, we would go without it, though, as both of us assumed the other had grabbed the case on the way out the door.
We went along the coral wall by the bathrooms near 5th and Ocean, and JK began to preach. He only preached for a few minutes, and a lady enjoyed his message and began clapping. We then left that part of the coral wall and made our way to our usual spot closer to Wet Willies. I began to preach and went for about 20 minutes. I preached on repentance and faith in Jesus, hellfire and turning away from sin. It was a very light crowd compared to most weeks.
As I preached, our old friend Dean, the photographer, came walking up to us, and JK and I were very happy to see him. Dean has really been a great blessing to us over the years, and has provided countless images, video and also moral support during Micah’s first arrest on Lincoln Road. He has heard the gospel dozens of times, and I believe that the Lord is going to awaken his conscience soon. JK and I realized that we now had a camera (actually 3 photographers, including our other friends Steve and Carlos).
JK then began to preach on hellfire and the consequences of sin. There did not seem to be too many people along the wall, so we made our way across the street from Wet Willies, where JK preached and was able to get a crowd of approximately 40 people. He preached for about 30 minutes. JK had a couple of hecklers: one was an old Cuban gentleman who began yelling about Iraq. JK asked him whether he had his green card, which he claimed he did. JK then told him to repent. He finally left after cursing JK out. There was a family that listened to the entire message and they were in total agreement with the message JK brought forth and seemed to be blessed by it.
I then began to preach and did so for about 15 minutes. I preached on repentance, faith in Jesus and obedience to his Word. I preached on the consequences of sin, here on this earth and eternal consequences of disobedience to God. I also had some listeners. Again, a very light crowd. JK preached again for a few minutes. Hence, the same family from earlier on stayed and listened to the message that I preached and they eventually left as we were both done preaching, and said good bye to us.
We decided to head on to Lincoln Road Mall. I began to preach by the church, however, JK interrupted the message as he was moved by a gentleman that walked by us. JK felt that he needed ministering and began to encourage the man to turn from sin and turn to Jesus Christ, who can deliver him. The gentleman began to say that many people have prayed for him, however, he was still in the state that he was in. At first, he seemed defensive; however, his demeanor began to change as JK continued to minister to him. Also, he was familiar with verses in the Bible, but was not willing to live obedient to the Word of God, as he claimed earlier on that “God allows for a little bit of sin.”
JK then began to preach and did so for approximately 20 minutes. We also saw a gentleman we had not seen for a while, since we have not preached at Lincoln Road Mall for a long time. His name is David. He is a son of a missionary family that died in a plane crash some time back. The team decided to buy him some food when we first met David. It was good to see him again. He was actually supporting himself making different souvenirs out of palm leaves. He stated that he is making approximately $150 a day. He asked us if we had a bible we could donate to him. We did have a bible, which we gave to him. He seemed very happy and thanked us.
When JK finished preaching by the church, one of the vendors told us “good luck, this is a tough crowd.”
We then decided to go preach at Washington Avenue, at the beginning of Lincoln Road Mall. I began to lift up my voice and preached a basic gospel message. An old gentleman approached us and stated that he reads the bible and was a Christian. JK began talking with him. He apparently did not love the Lord as he began cursing at JK, threatening to beat JK with his walking sticks. JK informed him that Christians do not communicate with such filthy language, but the old man just cursed and walked off.
The gentleman who earlier on told us that this is a tough crowd certainly was not kidding. South Beach is a tough crowd and the Lord has sent us there to awaken the conscience of the people out there, as many claim to love God in word, but in deeds they deny Him.
One thing I should also mention is that this is the first time we have preached where no one mentioned for us not to judge them. We left the beach at approximately 7:00 pm.
----------------------------------------------------------------
We are eternally thankful for the grace that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us, and we will show our gratitude by continuing to preach the gospel to this lost, sin-sick and dying generation. Please consider interceding for us this week, as we prepare to go out again into hostile territory, and fight for the souls of men.

This report was written by my beautiful wife, Evangelista. I am JK in these reports, but to avoid confusion with the infamous "Rev. K," I use the board name of bullhornbob.
ROAM-USA/Miami Bible Believers Report 11-19-06
Today the team was directed by the Holy Spirit to go to the Homestead NASCAR Championship Race. JK and I have lived in Homestead for many years, but believe it or not, this would be our first open-air inside the city. We now live about 30 minutes to the north of the track, as we have sold our home and most of our possessions to prepare for our transition to full time ministry some time in 2007, Lord willing.
Joining the team were Emmanuel, JK and myself (Evangelista). We arrived in Homestead at approximately 12:30 pm. We parked, set up our banner, pulled out our truth-horn, and began making our way to the main entrance to the festivities, while at the same time, Emmanuel preached to the tail-gaters. We finally reached Speedway Boulevard where the center of activity was. This is not a smalltime event at all. We are talking about 75-100 trailers, each representing a different driver and his car (including some dead ones as well). Hundreds upon hundreds of speed demons filled the midway.
JK began to preach to the drunken, party-revelers the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He preached on the judgment of God and warned the people about hellfire. He also preached against their idolatrous hearts, and their love for racing more than their love for Almighty God. I think the initial shockwave lasted about 30-45 minutes, as people could not believe we were out there preaching to them. Here it is, a beautiful Sunday afternoon, a perfect day to go spend at the track, forget about church, God, the Bible, and being a Christian. So as we begin to rebuke them, the excuses start pouring out. The drunks start cursing, the women start trying to flash us, men are mooning us, kids are mocking us…I could go on and on.
Our plan was to tag-team preach throughout the event. Emmanuel then took over, and preached that drunkards will not inherit the Kingdom of God. He also exhorted the people to turn away from sexual sin, idolatry, and their worship for race car drivers, and to prepare for the final judgment. He even said that unless Dale Earnhardt was born again, when he hit the wall on that fateful day, he split hell wide open. (Yes, it’s true folks…if you die in your sin, you wind up in hell)
I then preached and began to admonish the people to be born again and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and live a life that is obedient to Him. I also exhorted the people to repent and turn to Jesus Christ or face the consequences of hellfire, where there is only weeping and wailing and gnashing of the teeth. I mentioned that they should not call themselves Christians and say that they love God, while they are getting drunk at the races.
As JK preached again, we decided to take a bathroom break. As we were waiting in line, a gentleman came by and began mocking us. Suddenly, I noticed a lady coming towards us screaming and pointing her finger. I quickly pulled out the camera and began filming her as she was mocking and ridiculing God and us. She mentioned that she was angry with God because God killed her child. Due to the fact that she was drunk and screaming at us, there was no way for us to calm her down. She began to leave, but quickly returned and then proceeded to swing at me. She landed a solid blow on my arm as I turned away to protect the camera. JK then quickly stepped in and began to rebuke the woman for her hitting me (we are Christians, so we then explained that we would not pursue charges, even though she was wrong by assaulting me).
We eventually left that scene and JK began preaching again. As we made our way to the end of the midway again, a group of top brass cops quickly approached us and told JK to stop preaching or else he would be arrested. Now mind you, we had been preaching for over two solid hours, while police officers were following us and not bothering us a bit. One thing I should also mention is that when we first arrived, where our vehicle was parked, a gentleman asked us if we were there the day before. We told him “no” and proceeded to move towards the track. Come to find out, there were other preachers there the day before that seemed to have created some sort of disturbance that caused them to be removed, and the police officers mistook us for them. They apparently had some voice amplification like we did.
The police Captain told us that they have received numerous complaints about our preaching. (It is so strange how some cops can really be agitated and blow up on you initially, but when you humbly stand your ground, they all of a sudden seem to soften up a bit) He began to counsel JK on how to form a church, and how we needed to preach at church and not in public. Because of these numerous complaints, and the fact that NASCAR had rented the entire street, we were no longer welcome. The “VICE” President of NASCAR asked that we please leave immediately, or we would be arrested for trespass after warning. JK handled the whole situation very well and calmly asked one of the Majors where public and private property intersected. We were then told that we could not preach on public property without a permit, and obviously no permits would be granted on Sunday.
We had prayed specifically for favor to preach effectively on this day, and I believe the Lord granted us favor by allowing us to preach right up to the beginning of the races. Mission Accomplished! We left at approximately 3 pm.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are very grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for allowing us to carry His gospel to a lost, sick, and hell-bound world. He deserves all of the adoration and glory for His great love for the world. May you be encouraged, empowered, and emboldened to be a bright and shining light for Jesus Christ.

Revival Open Air Mission USA/Miami Bible Believers - Report for 11/18/06:
Joining the outreach this week were Emmanuel, JK and myself (Evangelista). We arrived at South Beach at approximately 3:30 PM and headed to the garage to park our vehicle. We then made our way towards Ocean Drive and set up at our regular preaching spot along the coral wall.
JK began to lift up his voice. There were not too many people on the beach this day, and JK preached on repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, turning away from sin, and living a life obedient to Him. There was a young man who listened to what JK was saying, and eventually began to heckle JK, but as it usually happens, the Holy Bible counteracted all of his arguments. There was also another young, Latin man, who listened and claimed to live a victorious life in Jesus who seemed to get a bit upset at the other young man who was heckling JK. The Latin man interrupted JK’s preaching to say a few words to the young man who was listening.
Apparently, this Latin young man was facing 20 years in prison and gave his life to the Lord in jail and was miraculously delivered from spending that time in prison. He admonished the other young man to listen to what JK was saying because as he said that what JK was saying was all true. He continued to say that there was a reason why the Lord sent JK there, so that he can share the good news of Jesus Christ and repentance to everyone. He continued to say that we all need to listen to what JK was admonishing the crowd to do.
JK then asked if there were any Christians in the crowd. Two gentlemen raised their hands. JK then asked whether they lived lives obedient to God and whether they stopped sinning. At first, one of the gentlemen said “yes,” but they later approached JK and said that they were still living in sin. JK admonished them to repent and stop sinning if they considered themselves to be Christians. Once JK finished preaching, JK ministered to the young man who heckled him earlier, as he had many questions and many doubts concerning repentance, serving Jesus Christ and living a life free from sin. He said that he too, served time in jail because of drugs, but decided not to live a life like that anymore. However, he refused to repent and give his life to Jesus as it seemed that he was not willing to let go of his sin just yet. JK continued to admonish him as he finally rode off on his bike. JK preached for a total of about 45 minutes. Emmanuel then preached and warned the people of hellfire and repentance. Emmanuel exhorted the people to put faith in Jesus and to stop living lives that offend God. He attacked false religions, and explained how the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. Emmanuel always does a good job in exhorting the people, and he also preached for about 45 minutes.
We then moved across from Wet Willies on Ocean Drive, as we usually do, and I began to preach a basic gospel message. I explained the reason Jesus came into the world, and I explained His death, burial and resurrection and judgment to come. I exhorted the people to put their complete faith and trust in what Jesus Christ did for them on the cross of Calvary. I also preached the Law and grace. Many who passed by listened to the Holy Word of God that was being proclaimed. There were some who said “God bless you” and “Jesus loves you” as they passed by, and I preached for about 30 minutes.
God Bless - Evangelista ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- A message from Rev. JK: “Why we do what we do”
Now, to most people, it would seem we are simply not being that effective. But, one must understand that when the gospel is preached in the open-air, there are hundreds of different reactions, and a literal polarization takes place within the crowd. Most will either agree, or disagree. One will either listen attentively, or heckle endlessly. Some will amen with total sincerity, and the other will curse us to his last breath. All are affected in some way. We want to get them thinking differently about God, about Jesus, about the Bible.
Keep in mind that they are not obligated to report to us when they are affected by our preaching. Most of the fruit from our open-air campaigns will be someone else’s harvest. We are simply commanded to preach, and as the Lord Jesus says in John 4, “one sows, and another reaps…” Our goal is to awaken the conscience of man, and get him to think of his state, his eternity, and his responsibility before a holy God.
Also, we do not gauge our success by the reaction of the crowds, but by the standard of the Holy Bible. Again, the early chapters of the book of John give us a perfect example of how we are not to use man and his reaction to the gospel as our compass, but that the content of the message is of utmost importance. We simply speak the truth in love!
We are totally reliant on the Spirit of God, and may His will be done through us. We sincerely covet your prayers and support, and thanks be to God!
