Bullhorn, here is what I meant by God hating only a certain group..those who KNEW the Truth and REFUSED to repent: 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be d**ned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Romans 1:26-32 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Dan, I still do not see how you can say what you did and justify it by those two scriptures. Now I will quote you: "Note though, that those God hates are ONLY those who KNEW the Truth yet refused what they KNEW of God and His Word".And: "Those who are sinful by nature yet have not heard nor known of the Gospel are not hated; they are called".The scriptures you quoted are only partially applicable to your broad statements. The Psalms are full of God hating His enemies. A whole lot of God's enemies died in the OT. Has the OT God split into the NT God again? No! Colossians calls mankind God's enemy. God is storing up his wrath against the day of wrath. He has given us a preview of the outpouring of His fierce wrath in Revelation! Now, I think we should ask ourselves: The things that God hates, do we truly hate them?
Are we truly grieved by the things that grieve God?
Do we love God with ALL, and love that which he loves? The word clearly spells out the specifics of what God hates, and loves, but the proof is in our obedience to the scriptures. When we can truthfully say, without hesitation, YES to those questions above, then we can elaborate on what God loves and hates. Dan, I believe you have placed your opinion above the main scriptural teachings of those verses. You did not seem to follow context. Do you care to elaborate a little more? Maybe I am misunderstanding you?

Note though, that those God hates are ONLY those who KNEW the Truth yet refused what they KNEW of God and His Word. Those who are sinful by nature yet have not heard nor known of the Gospel are not hated; they are called. Dan, if you could elaborate a little on these two statements, I would appreciate it.

Yes! Yes he does. Have you ever heard him preach? I have not heard Ron Luce preach for a couple of years.....ever since I (thank God) stopped watching TBN. I do not doubt that he may mention repent every now and then, or that he addresses some sins, but; Does he preach complete repentance from all sin, and total trust and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ, and holy, biblically obedient living.....complete detachment from the things of this world......is he targeting sexual sin like fornication, porn, and the big m, lust of the heart, etc? You know, the sins kids are bound to? I would love to hear some of his recent stuff. Any links, Jesse?

praise God for what he is doing. What exactly is Luce doing? Is he telling these kids to repent of sin? Is he telling them that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Is he telling them to come out from among the sin of this world and be separate, and touch not the unclean thing, so that they can be children of God? Is he telling them that the real love of God is to keep His commandments, and those commandments are not burdensome? That if you really love God, it is not a big deal to obey Him? If he is not, maybe he will spring it on them later, after the sinner's prayer and the discipleship course? The reason for the sarcasm is because I am sick of the watered-down and ineffective methods of man used to reach these kids. It would seem that these days kids would say "How much can we be like the world, and still be a christian?" And adults just let them go deeper and deeper into compromise and selfishness, creating a generation of gospel-hardened rebels bent on getting their needs met. Why not just tell them the truth, and let them decide between sin and Jesus...........between lust or obedience.................between hell or holiness? If this man really loves these kids, he will tell them the truth....Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. I have found the truth to be very polarizing.....either it will bring you to conviction, repentance, and salvation........or it will turn you off, and you will turn on to more sin, sin, sin.

Amen, Bob! Your wife is also OA? AWESOME! And yes... souls are the most important; not because we can preach at them, or to them or for them, but because Jesus loves them. Praise the Lord, brother! Thanks again for the video, and the encouragement. Who knows, maybe one day we will make it to Canada.....well, maybe you can come to Florida?

Thanks Dan. The children are precious.
I wanted to ask you, and anyone else who reads this, to pray for the wife and I. We have been trying for over 5 years to conceive, but the Lord has yet to remember us. We will continue to cry out to Him.
We are both committed to preaching open-air for the rest of our lives, and actually are in the process of fulfilling the admonition of the Lord Jesus to the rich young ruler:
Matt 19:21 - If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mark 10:21 - One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luke 18:22 - Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
I believe this is a good word for all of us as well:
Luk 12:32-34 says: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Stay separate from the world. It has so many distractions. Our main focus should be souls, and truly bringing the gospel to them. I want to live for Christ and keep His commandments, and to see people genuinely born again.
Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. If the birth of a child is so moving for us, think how the Father reacts when one lost soul is truly born again! What joy!
I felt I needed to share that with you.
Thanks, and keep plowing.

There is power in the WORD of God, not our words. Why couldn't the sign just have 1 Corinthians 6:9-10? I agree God's Word is powerful, but we speak as the oracles of God. We have the Holy Spirit. Jesus, Peter, Paul, John; all of these quoted OT scriptures, but spoke powerfully under the anointing as well. See the Book of Acts for details. Are you saying we cannot speak anything else except the Bible word for word? I have heard many scriptural truths explained under the anointing, and have seen dramatic results. We have volumes of writings from many Godly folk that are truly powerful, but not scripture verbatim. Why are we concerned about people's reaction to truth, to the point of watering down the truth to avoid offense?

Stick to bible verses and you can't go wrong! Not everything is spelled out for us verbatim in scripture. All we need for Godliness in this life is contained in the Word, but we cannot overlook the sins of this generation just because it isn't mentioned word for word in the Bible, or to avoid offense. God's Word clearly shows His hatred towards all of the things listed on the banner in question. Those who are offended by this type of open rebuke, in my experience, are usually involved in some type of sin themselves. That is why they will defend their position so vehemently, because they do not want to let go of their sin. They will twist and writhe out of the hand of conviction, as they justify themselves with some sort of twisted interpretation of a scripture or some tradition or commandment of man. I am not really concerned with popular opinion, or political correctness. Sin is blatantly flaunted in public, so we as Christians MUST publicly and specifically confront and rebuke sin, without fear of retribution. The fear of the Lord is to depart from evil. If you fear God, you will never fear man. But, if you fear man, you will never fear Almighty God.

"Open rebuke is better than secret love." Prov. 27:5
Christians, stop being enabling cowards, and warn people that the lifestyle of sin will bring eternal hell-fire judgement.
Kudos to Bro. Mitch!

"3:00 Depart for WILD BOAR HUNT" but think about what a traumatic experience that must be! ... I feel sick. Morluna, that's because you are sick. Sick with selfishness and sin. Sick with pride and idolatry. You worship the creature, and deny the Creator. Jesus is the only cure for your sickness, Morluna. I suppose we won't see you at the boar hunt, huh?

Yes, it is really packed out in Miami Beach during Spring Break.
We are now on Texas State University campus in San Marcos. It was very intense today!
Huge crowds of +300 today, complete with a pharisaical episcopalian pastor opposing us publicly.

I was blessed to see you guys went down to Florida recently for Spring Break. Were you able to go all the way down to Miami Beach?
Please pray for us, and thanks for the encouragement.

It looks like allot of "Evangelicals" are forgetting one thing. Islam and Christianity are at opposites. Read the following page and then look at the list of people and seminary's that have signed on to this...... Its not a smoking gun but I would call it at least out of the holster. www.yale.edu/faith/abou-commonword.htmThis is the original letter from the official muslim website. www.acommonword.com/index.php?lang=en&page=option1The link you posted is a response to that letter from the spineless neo-evangelicals who seek "peace" above and beyond God's will. Hey, maybe we are in the great tribulation now?

Brother MV of Soul Winners Today, the local CBS affiliate showed up on campus. The news story was #1 on the 7PM newscast, although they did not portray us as Christians. Very sodomite-slanted, if you ask me. www.wltx.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=53727This campus is very wicked and sodomite infested. The end of the day today was very productive, however, as I was able to reason with a crowd of about 100 or so, answering sincere questions and teaching from the Bible. I do believe that this type of preaching is holding back God's wrath. The Lord is so longsuffering. I am amazed at the biblically illiterate generation we are facing, who embrace the "diversity" agenda wholeheartedly, no questions asked. Pray saints. Pray. JK

We stirred up the Unregenerate Sodomite Community, I mean the Universalists of Sodomite Conformity, I mean USC, on Monday. So, they wrote us up in the daily news.
We will be on campus all week, culminating with the homo-shame parade on Saturday. Please pray for us.
If you can navigate to the daily paper website, there are some very slanted opinion pieces as well.
JK Protest causes campus chaos Religious ministry draws large crowd, anger Brad Maxwell Staff Writer Issue date: 9/18/07 Section: News PrintEmail DoubleClick Any Word Page 1 of 1 Media Credit: Graeme Fouste Soulwinners Ministries, a Michigan-based Christian group, protests SC Pride Week in front of Thomas Cooper Library on Monday. The group plans to continue their protests throughout the week. Religious protestors targeting homosexuals, fornicators and sinners drew much attention when they gathered in front of the Thomas Cooper Library Monday afternoon. Three men preaching and carrying signs reading "homo sex is sin," "homo sex is a threat to national security" and other phrases drew strong reactions from USC students who gathered to listen and contest. "It's ridiculous," said Corey Craig, a third-year Spanish student who combated the protest by handing out SC Gay Pride cards and talking against the protestors. "I'm used to it, but this is totally against the Carolinian Creed," Craig said. Craig, who is Jewish, was also upset that the protests occurred during his Holy Week. A man who went only by the name J.K. lead the protest, reading quotes from the Bible and proclaiming that homosexuals and other sinners will go to hell. Michael Venyah, founder of Soulwinners Ministries International, the Michigan-based group organizing the demonstration, said the protesters plan to be on campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day this week. Steve Lefemine, one of the protesters carrying a sign, is a pro-life missionary working with Soulwinners. "We are an evangelistic ministry. Lord willing, we will be here throughout this week," Lefemine said. Kaye Torgersen, a fourth-year history student, said she heard the protestors from the library she got there, around 12:30 p.m. "It's surprising how many students are interacting. It's a mockery really," Torgersen said. Two USCPD officers on the scene would not comment.

Yes, sad indeed. This hypocritical ordinance was designed to muzzle the Christians, no question. The wife and I were there, and we had just walked away from Bro. Ball and his group when he was arrested.
Spitting, drink-slinging intolerant sodomites were constantly demanding us to "go back to your protest zone!" The wife and I opted to just walk through the middle of the "closure zone" with Bible and video camera in hand, preaching to the sodomites all the way up and down the midway.
The police did nothing to us because we had no signs, no banners, and no horn. One lady actually threw not one, but two drinks in my face, then went after another group preaching inside the protest zone. She wound up slinging a drink on an officer, so she went to jail as well.
Lots of great video from this event, we will try and get it up on youtube asap.

Hey RevK,
I appreciate you explaining yourself. I am sure you have had to on this forum before, so forgive me if I made you repeat yourself.
I agree with your points, although I am not as dogmatic as you may be about some, while I am probably over zealous concerning others.
I think anyone involved in this type of ministry who thinks they have it pegged, or they have arrived, is simply not being realistic. I am not beyond correction from the body, and I want to become more mature and knowledgeable in the things of God just as sincerely as most do.
The kind of mud-slinging DL is doing will sometimes attract others, and I thought you were implying that you agreed with him.
And yes, it does matter to me what other Christians think of our ministry, but it is not the motivating factor. We are motivated by love and obedience to Christ Jesus, but we do not seek to bring reproach to His name.

Dan...I understand brother...I really do.... So Kerrigan, you actually agree with Dan concerning our (ROAMUSA) preaching and ministry? All of these accusations are ridiculous, and I was disappointed with that last post. I am not surprised, though. They wanted to kill Jesus too, and they succeeded! I am not saying you cannot disagree with us, nor will I be offended if you do. I am just trying to get an idea of how you view us as a whole, as the accusations that he is slinging at us are almost comedic. I am praying God will let us, at some point, minister in full view of all of the critics and they can see for themselves that we are genuinely living to obey God and we are not living in fear of men.

I've never asked anyone to leave in the whole history of this forum. I've banned people before, but never asked anyone to leave. I apologize Jesse. You did not ask him to leave specifically, but this is the thread I was referring to: openairoutreach.proboards52.com/index.cgi?board=sayitall&action=display&thread=1165439909&page=1If you read it, you will understand why I said what I said. Again, my apologies for not being clear. I did not expect to see Dan again after that exchange, but........ I know that Dan doesn't like Ruben. Well, according to the above thread, Dan doesn't favor anyone who disagrees with Dan. If you read through that entire thread, and look at some of the exchanges I have had with Dan over the last year or so, you will see why I am stating what I have in this presesnt thread. It is real easy. Just click my username "bullhornbob" and search the last 168 posts in my profile. It will come up and you can read a few of the very detailed posts I put up, some where I am literally pleading with Dan to scripturally back up all of his accusations. He never responded biblically. Only opinions and slander.

Alan,
Thanks for sharing those scriptures. This only confirmed what is in my heart as a Christian for over 10 years now:
I Peter 2:1-11
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
I have confronted Dan a couple of times over the last 2 years, and he always responds with baseless accusations and then says he will no longer respond. It seems that he just desires to be right and to have the last word. I have never personally attacked him or his ministry, but have only desired for him to prove the accusations against myself and many others.
I kind of wish he would have stayed away from this forum when Jesse asked him to leave, but he keeps leaving and coming back, and leaving again. It is this type of instability that breeds personal attacks against people who are dedicated to preaching the truth.
Dan opposes one day, then is friendly the next day. A double-minded man is unstable in ALL of his ways.

Baseless accusations stated by you because of your offense towards the truth.
You crack me up, Dan.
One day you call me a hypocrite and heretic, the next day you want me to share all of ROAMUSA's ministry info and multimedia with you. Then the next day I am an abominable heretic again.
I purposely ignored that email from you because you are what's known as a flip-flopper, a double-minded man, and completely unstable. Stop trying to impress everyone with your bright and witty posts and just serve the Lord. Go and do the work the Lord has called you to do. When you get a few years of street preaching under your belt, then come and approach the elders with your concerns and disagreements. You are a novice telling the veteran how to do his job.
If you continue to bite and devour other Christians, you will eventually consume them. Is this what you want?
Psalm 106:40 Proverbs 22:14 Romans 1:18-32
Just a few of the scriptures that come to mind to prove that God does indeed abhor the wicked. The tolerance approach you and most of the "evangelical" church agrees with have produced thousands who claim they are saved and even full of the Holy Spirit, while still practicing homosexuality and other various sins.
We have fruit that proves repentance and brokenness produces a new creation, free from sin, reprobates have been restored to a godly lifestyle of obedience and holy matrimony, even one for over 8 years and in the ministry to boot.
I am saddened, but not surprised, by your meaningless rhetoric. "I'm not going to respond anymore " is a very immature response. I guess you are par for the course.

Hmmm... That may be a little far for me. I'm not sure how reliable my vehicle is. I think it's a 10-11 hour drive from here. Are you guys doing anything different because of the above? I heard from a brother there is one in Tulsa or Oklahoma City this summer. I may go to that. Nothing different that I am aware of. Hey, do what you can to warn these people. God Bless you Josh. There is a website that sort of gives a general overview of these gay pride events. Be sure you are prepared as there is some pretty sick stuff attached to this site. www.gay.com/pride/calendar/I actually found cheap airfare to Indy, and driving from South Florida would be a huge stretch.
