Friends, please lets love our enemies as we love Christ on these boards! Josh, love Micah and don't speak wrongly against him. Micah, love Josh. Ah its so stupid to be fighting on here! I just got back tonight from speaking to people and being laughed at and I cannot, although I so wish I could, I cannot weep as I wish I wanted to weep because they are without God in the world. Oh, please friends, lets not fight. Some of us have never met each other in real life! How can we speak about people? Please be nice, all of us! Please. The world is dieing without Christ, there is no time for these stupid arguments. Let Micah preach but let him preach because men are dieing with Christ and because He loves Christ. Let Josh and all the rest do the same. God be glorified, this is all that matters! Why do you all fight and fight and divide yourselves.
Pray for your enemies! Pray for false teachers, that they wouldn't teach falsely and that God would shed His love in their hearts! Pray for the preachers who don't preach as you think they should! Take that to God and if He should be pleased to change there preaching, He will! Pray! Pray! Pray! But don't fight with one another! AH! The world fights! Let us not, please. I speak for myself because I find myself fighting sometimes with people when I should be weeping to God in prayer. I so don't want to be passive against what the Lord hates but on the same extremity, I don't want to not love, love so amazing as Christ's love for me and the saints, how can a lover of God not love people when Christ has so dearly shed His blood, if we only knew what that means, if we could but catch a glimpse, may God rain down such a revival of love, of His love.
Oh, forever I could boast of His love! Oh guys, love so amazing, love so amazing.
"And though I [preach, yet, if I don't have love], I am nothing." - 1 Cor. 13:2
Paul Mcgrade
(Micah, I'd love to meet with you. I have seen you preach from those videos but all is well if you yearn and long and desire Jesus Christ and desire to be pleasing to Him and to do all that He would have you do. It would wonderful when you get back if we could meet.)

Paul and everyone else,
I am not fighting with Josh. I have no problem with him at all. He may have had a problem with me or my preaching and I am having a discussion with him about that. I have no problem with him or his preaching. I am glad he is out there preaching, but I have never seen him preach. I have never criticized his preaching.
I have had debates and disagreements on this board, but I don't remember ever criticizing anyone's preaching.

Tony, That was pretty funny about the sumo inflatables! Jesse, That idea about a conference sounds like a great idea. I would come. RevK, I am glad you don't think I am an abomination. Thank you!

I have nothing against Micah, in fact I admire the zeal he has. My concern is with the way the message comes across. As a person I consider Micah as a brother. But I don't like his preaching.

Tony, I agree with everything you have said.
I defninitely love the conference idea (and the inflatable sumos, hehe).
Ya know Jesse, the IBLP training institute here in Little Rock, AR just might be the place to hold such an event. Conway is nearby as well as UALR... Good central location from TX, OK, GA...

I have decided that there should be a annual meeting of everyone on the board for fellowship and discussion.... Most importantly, so we can rent those inflatable sumo suits so anyone with a problem with another can settle their differences in the ring Hahahaha!!

Jesse, Jesse, Jesse, this set of videos has got to be the funniest yet. I really have to catch the travelling act live if you and the rest of the Boys In The Band drift into my area. I mean this is funnier than anything on cable tv. It provided a great stress relief from my more intense woprk on line. This page has great value for me in that respect and these videos, I just cannot get enough of them.
Is there any place, anywhere, you do not bomb? I am serious, for while I find these sermons hilarious, I also feel for you because it seems like the track record for you and the rest of Our Gang seems so dismal?
I hope you and the others survive Phoenix uinscratched, I really do because I can picture the people of ASU and GCC either stoning you or grabbing you all and nailing you to crosses someplace in the desert. I hope not, because really, I have to catch this act live.
This is better than episodes of Insomniac.
I mean, I just cannot get enough of these clips. The other people, I find funny too, but you, you are the worst/best of them.
If youa re not saving me, at least know you are entertaining me.
Yeah, yeah, you can have the last laugh when I am in hell and you are in heaven, but that;'s okay too.
I wouldn't like heaven much.

Dale, I'm not an expert on Open Air Evangelism, but let me say that not all OA's go about looking for News crews, newspapers, debates and screams from the crowd.
Some OA's actually do what mark 10 commands; they love and that love cause sthe hearer to leave convicted...not hateful.
We're not all like some OA's, dale.
Praying for you,
Dan

Dale,
May God use these videos to convict you of sin.
There is nothing funny about sinners going to hell to burn. Nothing funny at all.
You must repent. Or you will perish. You must come to Jesus and be forgiven or you will be d**ned. You must come to Jesus and let him clean your dirty heart! You must come to Jesus!
Be serious. Be sober. Don't be foolish.

Nice to hear from you, Jesse. Great, now I have the Grand Pubbah of OAO praying for me also, I suppose. The point is, while I do find you to be hilariously funny out there, can can in fact appreciate your dedication, your willingness to continue even though you wash out every place you go and your concerns. It is very hard to make fun of you and the others on one hand, when you take this into consideration, but on the other... Well, at least I didn;t call your preaching mean and hateful or however it goes.... The continual problem i see, but I do not think youw ill ever correct, is this. Instead of just going outt here and preaching to the open air and delivering your message, you always make the mistake of getting involved in these one to one exchanges haflway through the sermon and this is what causes yout o go down in flames. This changes your delivery from an open air sermon to what is more or less a comedy club exchange with an amateur comic on stage getting bested by the hecklers in the audience. If you ignored the comments and just kept preaching, then took questions at the end, one on one AFTER the presentation, rather than continually shifting your message and going into losing battle mode with these people, you might not crash and burn so often. I mean when most people have such an alarming rate of failure and I mean that nicely, not unkindly, they would look at what they were doign and try to correct your weak points or change things so their success rate might be a bit better. You just don;t seem to do this because youe ither do not know how or do not want to. Now you could come back and say something along the line of :I am doing what God commands and it is the responsibility of these people toa ccept it." This is a good, old fashioned cop out, because the style of delivery, NOT the message itself , IS why you are facing such rejection. It is NOT ebcause the audience is being convicted of sin, even though you like tot hinks o, but their reaction to the deliverer that is causing such reaction. These people are not lookign at you and thinking, "Man, this guy is right. I am going to argue with him because God is whispering in my ear what a rotten person i am and this guy is hitting the nail on the head." Theya re reacting as they do because they are lookign at you all, thinking, "Get a load of this little Herbet West-Reanimator-looking guy, this guy in a purple shirt, a guy dressed like a drugstore clerk (Valentine's observation on Evan, but I tend to agree) and this guy in a Gilligan's Island hat. Who the (insert explitive of your choice) are they? You people are a bunch of fanatical idiots coming out of nowhere, rambling on and leaving? You people are (do you really want me to go on)....It is the delivery, NOT the message or the deliver per dse, that is causing this reaction. Case in pint. On another thread you note some older guy was the only one of you to be applauded by the audience. I forget the name and thread, BUT I assume he was up there telling people to repent and such just like the rest of you,c orrect? More or less thes ame message, no? Yet he was applauded. Why? Did he comprpmise with the sinners? By the looks of him in the photo I would think not. I then must assume it was DELIVERY and that proves my point. Most people would look at their failures and find some way to correct it, rather than than just doing the same thing again and again, while they continue to go down in flames. Why do you NOT do this and I deathly serious here. Youc an of course say :"I am doing as God commands and bringing the gospel to these people, warning them about hell," blah...b;ah...blah...Of course youc an say that. On the other hand though, can;'t it be pointed out that because of delivery youa re crashing and burning every time you are out there, peopel are rejecting what you say and present, which in turn is NOT what God would want? ? AS for myr epenting, it is not gonna happen. Sorry, but it is not in the cards. If you would rather have me lie to you, just say the word, if that is what you want to make you feel better, but the truth is, I ams orry to say, I am not going to repent and follow Jesus. If you woudl rather have a lie, just say the word and Ill fix you right up, right now, with my next post. As for Micah, I have to go back and find him on the thread and hear for myself what the controversy is all about. I am sure for better or worse, he will humor me also, with or without the Gillighan's Island hat,m but I am indeed curious as to why botht he christians and the nonchristians seem to deplore him so much. I cannot say because I have not heard him yet. One other thing. You mention having some type of criminal past. Evan has evidently done a few things that leave a little to be desired in his past. On and on. We all have our skeletons in the closet, so i am not saying I want to know these details to be nosy. I could care less about your personal affairs, BUT here is a thought. Instead of just going out there and hollering about repenting, if you threw in some of these details about yourselves, in the I was like this, but now I am like this, you might not come across as the jmnudgmental lunatics the crowd assumes you are when listening to you. Again, it might help your presentation if the crowds know whya nd how you have come to be this traveling show for Jesus. Again, you aren;t going to get people to listen to you if they regard ytou as a nutcase from the start. Again, it is neither the deliverer or the message, as you seem to think, but the delivery that makes you wash out. Somewhere in the Bible it says that he who wins soul;s is wise. Are youa ll really being wise in your way of doing things? In closing, in a matter of weeks now, Phoenix waiyts to welcome you I am sure. I justw ish iw as still living there to sit unseen in the background and watch the results at ASU and GCC ormto rescue you if you were actually dumb enough to go syreetpreaching at night in the areas I mentioned in another post, after the college campus tour draws to a close, but alas I am in Ohio. I was smart enough to leave Arizona when it was turning into a sewer in 1998 and I dread what phoenix is like now. They are gonna eat you alive,e specially if you do the exact same sermon you have done on these other video threads. Trust me on this. All the ha ha has aside, i am being deathly serious here.

As for the video assortment, I was finally able to hear Micah, whom everyone seems to love to hate. He has gotten so much negative feedback, I was going to suggest he ditch the Gillighan's Island hat of his and jump sides to the heathen side on the board, as people seem to dislike him as much as they dislike The Three Wise Men & The Virgin Val (as well as the other Dixie Chick, Morluna Dida-whatever) In actually hearing the guy for a change, I sit back wondering now, what all the hoopla was about.
He had me rolling on the floor laughing also, as once again, the delivery, neither the message nor the messenger, is what was causing him to bomb. And he just kept digging himself deeper and deeper into a hole.
On one hand Micah is a "better" preacher in regard to voice, mannerisms (far more deliberate than say Jesse or Eli) and speech pattern/voice fluxuation. However, in going off on a tangent like this, going one on one with the critics, he also lost the crowd and evidently gained no results. He was as big a dud as the rest of you. But it did provide me with some laughs. Again, I will pay money for the entire set of dvds whenever you release them.
If he, like the rest of you, would actually throw in a bit about yourselves and why and how you came to what you are, rather than just standing out on a street corner or on a campus square, looking like struggling comedians being eaten alive by their crowd, like Jesse and Eli or someone coming across as a holier than thou pharisee, like Micah (I did not say they WERE like that, bujt this is how i see them perceived by the audience), they might just be willing to listen to you and you might have some better results. He too, makes the mistake of getting into spitting contests with his detractors, in a different way than Jesse or Eli, but again, setting himself up to be scorned, mocked and ridiculed. See my above post. A different band is playing in the case of Micah, so to speak, , but the same song is being played. That is the same basic mistakes and the same wash out as far as results go..
You guys all bomb because of your delivery. Why is it you can't wake up to this?
The sad fact is I find these videos hilariously funny and I am NOT going to lie to you and say otherwise. What good would that do? What you should be getting from these comments I am making and evidently isn;t sinking in is this. You should be asking :"Why does this guy find what we are saying and presenting as deathly serious business, something to laugh at?" And let's not just use that lame "The preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness " excuse.
You could be doing a lot better than you are, if you just devoite some time to lookign at yourselves and the manner in which you present your message.
Micah could be quite goods IF he would think before he talked.
The problem is you all are your own worst enemy, not the heathen sinners, not the devil and not the drunk or gay audience. You and your delivery is what is causing you to fall flat.
And to make matters worse, you sometimes seem to rejoice in having your message rejected so in your own eyes, this makes youa ll look twice as good by saying we are twice as bad. If this IS true and not just an error or misconception on my part, then if there is really a god up there, I would still rather stand before him in my shoes, than in yours.

Thanks Dale. You are right, after an hour and 45 minutes, I did lose the audience. Most of those students probably can't watch one channel more than five minutes, or leave the same radio station on for fifteen, so you are right, I was not very successful in holding their attention.

Oh yeah, you definately belted out a couple verses of some lame (to me anyway) church hymn. I have heard it before and cannot think of the title of it though (and must admit I never heard it sung quite like your version of it)
Hell to me would not be fire and brimstone, but being forced to hear an eternal version of this.
