The bond is required of outside orgs that want to use the free speech areas due to the possibility of someone getting hurt/sued/feelings bent.....etc. ad nauseum. I don't think it is legal and if I have enough feedback in that area I will hire a lawyer to challenge the same.

Saints, I keep running into the colleges and local malls requiring a one million dollar liability insurance bond in order to use the free speech areas or set up a booth inside the mall. Both instances are not sponsored activities by clubs at the school or any businesses at the mall. Any feedback, ideas on how to deal with this issue? Do you know any good, cheap, liability insurance companies? Thanks to all. John

K, is that you? Are you a homosexual? The design of the a-nus is designed one way for the discarge of body waste/poisons. It is not a place to insert a pe-nis and deposit semen. That is why the homosexual community has such a high mortality/sickness rate. They bring the plague upon themselves by such perverted behavior. What's next bestiality and pedophilia? Just because it might feel good, does not make it correct morally or physically.
What studies are those you quote in your post?

A few lines on judging:
When accused of this I will respond:
I am here to warn of the One who will judge every thought, word, and deed.
I have come to warn you of the day of Judgement to come; but today is the day of His mercy.

Rob that's great! I am so thrilled when a Christian actually obeys God's command. Here a few tips: Check out this website: www.pinpointevangelism.com/resources1.htm. Pray alot Always go out with a true brother in the Lord. Be cautious, many who profess Christ are not even saved. Study, study, and more study. Especially scripture memory that has to do with salvation and holiness. God bless you and strengthen you Rob, keep up the fight and welcome to God's harvest field! I have been praying for you see Luke 10:2, Hallelujah.

Go to the livingwaters.com website. They have lots of great resources on one2one's. Keep at the work. The more you practice; the better you will become. Don't let anyone discourage you from the work the Lord has put before you. You are in great company: Moses, Jeremiah, and many others told the Lord they couldn't speak to people. But, the Lord was patient with them and commanded them to go despite thier feelings, others criticisms, etc.

70 different languages, hard hitting, simple and the best part is they are free! You can see most of the designs online before you order.
Of course they accept donations to help defray the costs. I have used their Japanese, Chinese, and Philipino tracts to great effect here in Hawaii. I have ordered over 5000 tracts from them with no hassles and quick shipping.

Exciting and fun. You could hear a pin drop the first time we walked the parade route. I believe we walked it three times, once before the parade started and then twice while it was going.

Should we base our walk with the Lord on feelings or direction? How does one feel a calling or feel God's directing on a matter? I believe it to be better understood as the Lord puts a matter on your heart through the direction of the Holy Spirit, we obey.

Josh, I never meant you should not stay if that is the Lord's will for you to be burned, stabbed, punched and beaten for the gospel's sake.
My question to you was what is this passage for?

Josh, why would the Bible have Matt 10:23 recorded therein? Wouldn't we all just stand wherever we are threatened and be mowed down by the world? I think I understand that type of thinking you are recommending if you view this from a Calvinist perspective.

Dan, I know that God sees the heart of a preacher even if I judge him wrongly for unseemly conduct or speech. The world hates the gospel no matter how it is presented. I believe we should contrast God's holy anger and holy love in our speech, manner, and methods. We should make sin a personal issue between the individual and God. Clearly, that is what Jesus, Peter, and Paul did in thier preaching. Even if one does not see it that way Paul stated:
Phil 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

-Freedom of speech and religion are guaranteed in the 1st amendments of the Constitutions both federal and states.
-State supported campuses are public and must allow free access to all, this doesn't mean they will at that moment allow free access or that they have not put unlawful rules in place
-Usually the free speech area is near the student union, you will almost always find an area that has seating and you can use the buildings to amplify your voice.
-Go with a brother and bring video equipment or audio at least. Bold signs and banners Psalm 20:5 attract listeners. Bring Constitutional rulings printed out.
-Be firm and respectful with the authorities, many times they will try and bully you into submission by saying they will arrest you. Ask them: 1. what law am I breaking? 2. please get your supervisor 3. I will not obey unlawful orders 4. Are you required by oath to support and defend the Constitution of Tennessee?
