Sounds like a good day at the office! That's good that they seem to be getting calmer for you. Glad you are still there brother, otherwise all UNCG would have to listen to is a man who will dull their conscience, strengthen their hands in their sin and walk right off into Hell with him! Keep it up...

Welcome Matt! You will fit in very nicely here. I think you will really like some of the videos from this YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/refutingcalvinism There are a bunch of videos on there that make the SAME EXACT points that you made in your first post. Praise God for opening your eyes to the truth!

I didn't say that you were "trying to hurt anyone's feelings". I was simply responding to what you said in your first post in this thread:

Thanks Steve. All that you have critiqued was done by Jesse Kureji, so you haven't hurt my feelings...

I've read most of it Steve, and I highly recommend it. If nothing else, it is a good resource to have in your library. He does believe in the "sinful nature" and uses translations like the NIV, but besides that he is great on destroying OSAS/POTS...

I watched all three videos Josh and would have to agree with almost everything he said. A great book to read on this issue is The Stepchildren of the Reformation. It can be found HERE.

I often wonder why they taught in the Jewish synagogue. Either, all the Jews had become Christians, or they were there to bring them into fellowship with Christ. I wonder if the modern church at least in America has become a type of temple made with the hands of men. I learned today at home fellowship that the greek word for 'church' = assembly and can be translated as synagogue! Learn something new everyday. Praise the Lord. Actually, that's not quite it. The word translated as "assembly" in James 2 is the Greek word that is transliterated into the English as "synagogue". The Greek word translated as "Church" in the English is "ekklesia" and means "called out ones." Sorry if I wasn't clear enough brother... What I was trying to say is that when people nowadays say, "we're going to Church", they aren't using the word "Church" properly. The "Church" isn't a place to go to. The "Church" is a people. You either are the Church or you're not the Church. If we were more proper in our terms, we could say that we are going to the "synagogue", since the Greek word "synagogue" means "assembly"...

In our home fellowship here in Kentucky, I am currently teaching through James' Epistle. Here are the first three videos:
Introduction
James 1:1-11
James 1:12-27
More to come as they get preached and uploaded. God Bless...

I have a sneaky feeling that this "regan" person is just a fake. Just like Dale was playing games before, I think this "regan" person is playing games as well. I could be wrong...but I doubt it...
